I love this little bag. My first one was a flop, so I enlarged the pattern to an 8.5-inch square. It worked out great. I think it needs a heavier interfacing though because it's a bit floppy. I am going to try a 7.5-inch square and see how that goes. Thank you for the pattern and tutorial!

That is sew cute. It would make a great basket for snacks at the holidays or for hostess gifts. I would put a plastic cup in it to keep anything from being absorbed into the fabric.

Yes...1.25" from black dot to black dot....The template is made as if it's folded already. the templates starts as 6.50" sq.....then the curves are the only thing to take out.(both right and left side are symmetrical so that 1.25" is on the other side too...)Hope that helps...Let me know how it turns out :)

@@TheSewingChannel Making templete and I have another question. How come, with it folded in half it is 3 1/2 inches, when half of 6.50 should be 3.25? I am confused. lol Thanks again Tracie, so sorry, if I am spelling your name wrong!
When it is folded it is 6.50"....you fold your fabric then lay template on it... then it's 3.50" up and 3" down (according to my template that's in vid). Start with 6.50" sq.- then write fold line at bottom then make measurements....I hope that helps....in the vid I show me lifting the template off of folded fabric✅ let me know if that helps.

@@TheSewingChannel 4 yrs ago I got a bucket load of ribbons cheap off Etsy to make hair bows on clips with my granddaughters, I sent you what was left. Seven hours later we had 25 bows. Their to old for bows now! A great memory we have. I just knew you would create something.
