Thank you Diane!!! Your work is always unique and your techniques are just absolutely fantastic! Great pattern! I will have to think about putting these in my shop (you know 'storage solutions' are the name of the game now!!!!! :-).
Thanks! So glad you enjoyed it! XXX
All that i can think is WOW when you said fast to make thought no way and now i want to make one. Thank you
I made a podlet to take on vacation to put my glasses in at the side of the bed at night. My husband wanted one for his wallet, change, keys etc. in the hotel room. My sisters saw them and now I am making one for each of them for their travels. Thank you for such a clever, versatile, fast and easy idea.
So glad you are finding them useful - don't show them to too many people they will all want one lol
I’m gonna try one of these cute podlets. They’re cute
Love these. Thank you! Who doesn’t need a pod like these!
After making your basket last night and one this morning, I just shared on cricut Facebook page! I want every beginner so to see your video because it is truly amazing. I love the way you teach and cannot wait to get into some of your more experienced patterns also!

How can anyone justify ‘thumbs down’? Fabulous idea!
Thank you xxx
Thank you so much! I wanted to send Easter goodies to my grandgirls but didn't want to compete with their parent's baskets. So I made two of these fabric baskets and they came out awesome. Just right to pop a little bunny and some candy in and their mom will appreciate not having to store an extra Easter basket. Great tutorial. I am a new fan! Of course, I subscribed.
Wonderful! Why not join my bag sewing Facebook group to share your photos and for more sewing project chat: facebook.com/groups/spencerogg
Oh my! I’m about to make 50 of these! Perfect sewing fix for when you have the sewing bug but don’t want a major project! 💖👏💖👏
Have fun!
I have to say “ wow wow wow” just so beautiful! Thank you
I just subscribed!
thank you!
I think this should be called the "Magic Podlet" - from flat to fat in seconds- holds your treasures then hides away when not in use. fantastic idea. I was so taken with the unique way of boxing the corners when I made up some doorstop pods for friends. now this takes that unique method one step further- it's even easier and so functional- absolutely fantastic idea- thank you always for your inspiring videos and innovative patterns.
So glad you like it, look forward to seeing your pics xx
Oh no....I am hooked. I started making these and now I can't stop. Good thing I can fold them flat till I need one or decide to gift one. Thank you so much for this great pattern.
Glad you like them!
Love Love Love.... Did I say Love...thanks so much for this ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE basket...I'm an RV'r and this is spot on....YOU'RE THE BEST!!!!!
Thank you so much!
I learned this technique from one of the Taiwanese youtubers I watch. It’s a clever alternative to the external gusset method.
Wish I'd seen that, it could have saved me hours of faffing!
Wow I love it thank you. Julie Tasmania Australia.❤️
Amazing! My daughter just got a sewing machine, she said this project is her favorite, thank you!
Wonderful!
I so appreciate your talent and so amazing how the inner ends turn out. You are an awesome sewing teacher Diane. Look forward to more videos with you. ❤ Thank you
Thank you so much!
It is so easy, it took approximately half an hour. Thank you.
Great to hear!
Brilliant 👏
Awesome clear and concise tutorial… a relaxed natural instructor!! ❤
Thanks so much!
I saw this a while ago, and tonight I finally gave it a try. I Love this!!! I don't know why I waited so long to try this, I have made a lot of fabric baskets, none of them fold flat. This is the easiest fabric basket I have ever made, and the added bonus is, it does fold flat for storage. I will be making a lot of these in the different sizes. Thank You for Sharing your Time and Talent with all of us.
Wonderful!
I am a beginner sewer but very much looking forward to making these!!!
Have fun!
This is fantastic and ended my three day search for just the right container for my coasters or to serve as a trinket tray. Your instructions were so clear. Great teacher skills. Thanks.
You are so welcome!
This will be so good to travel with!!! They fold flat in my suitcase and then pop them open to hold my makeup on the hotel sink!! Yay for Diane!!!!!
Thanks Pam - good thinking, I must do that myself!!
Oh my stars! This is fantastic!!! Thank you for such a fun tutorial. I agree with Lynn, below, this should be called the "Magic Podlet". Thank you so much.

I’ve made a lot of fabric baskets but this version is ingenious and will be my go to one in future. Many thanks Diane.
So glad you liked it xx
Thank you for this great tutorial. I have been having fun making these today. The one thing I did differently is to use double-sided tape to secure the top edge in place before sewing so that I did not have to fumble with clips it worked out great.
Great tip!
Thank you! I plan on making several in many sizes as gifts, and as gifts to myself. Cheers!
Wonderful!
Fabric origami....this is awesome, thank you :)
I can already think of so many uses for this. Thank you!

Blimey Diane stunningly clever!
So glad you like them Trudi xxx
Can't believe how easy this is! and it looks so nice. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure 😊
This was such fun to make. I decided to cut the fused inter facing smaller so it was not impacting the seam allowance and it was even easier for me to make even. Thank you so
Much for your generous pattern
Great idea!
I'm so glad I found this video. I love this basket, and the way you can store it flat, and also how quick they are to make. So very clever, I can't wait to make one (or several). Thank You for sharing Your Time, and Talent with all of us.

You are so welcome!
This is amazing! I can hardly wait for my craft room to be usable.
Have fun!
1st off, I love your haircut-it looks so attractive on you. 2nd, I adore the pod you made..liking how it storably folds, the vibrant colors you used & the flexibility and shape of it. It doesn't take much fabric & can likely make a large & smaller one with 2 fat quarters. I may even add a hoop to the end to hang or store on inside cabinet hooks. Lovely idea & I just subscribed.👍😁
Thanks Fran - why not jon my Facebook group too for daily sewing fun: You are welcome to join here: facebook.com/groups/spencerogg

Hi 👋 , I don’t use FB either …could you please post the measurements of the smaller and medium sizes ? I would love to make several of these cute and practical baskets. I would make many for my family so they can easily pack them for their trips and use them to put their watch, jewelry, coins etc when they empty their pockets for the evening. It will help them stay organized .
Thanks for your ingenuity, I am not as creative like you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 .

Very Clever ! Thank you
I made one last night! So pleased with it, thanks so much for sharing pattern. When stitching around the top I wondered if I should have opened the side seams? I didn’t and it looks fine, but might next time 🤔. 😊⭐️⭐️
I was thinking this too, going to give it a try to see if it makes any difference.
Like magic, so ingenious!
very clever, thank you.
You are welcome!
Just reminded myself how to make one but added handles and used the front of an up cycled Mac with a pocket and fasteners from the hood to make a roll up bag.
Sounds amazing. Great upcycling Jane
