Recipe: (1 cup = 250 ml)
For the dough:
4 eggs
A pinch of salt
120 g sugar (3/5 cup)
130g flour (a little less than 1 cup)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons oil
Baking pan: 22 x 22 cm (8.6 x 8.6 inches)
Bake at 170 °C (338 °F) top and bottom heat for 25 minutes.
About 240g apricots or peaches (about 1 cup)
For the cream:
250 g quark (alternatively: cottage cheese or cream cheese) 1 cup
200 g vanilla yogurt (4/5 cup)
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
150 g crème fraîche (or cream cheese) 3/5 cup
250 ml whipped cream (1 cup)
1/2 lemon
100 ml compote juice (2/5 cup)
1 tablespoon agar agar (vegetable powder for gelling)
Please use the agar exactly as shown in the video.
Add the apricots.
Chill the cake for 3 - 4 hours.
