    Phoenix, Gilbert, Chandler, Scottsdale they’re all awesome. Visited the Phoenix and the surrounding towns, I’d move there for sure. Much nicer over all, a lot of outdoorsy stuff to do, nicer and bigger homes, better weather, lower crime and cheaper cost of living over all compared to Chicago Where is cold as fuck 8 months a year. It’s May and it’s still in the 40s here. Wtf

    looking at living here from sunny Buckley, WASHINGTON.. I don't know, my folks went to school in Lafayette and Stinken Lincoln back in the days in Coney Island and growing up in LI and New Jersey...and this place dont look all that bad..Where we live now washington state is getting more and more expensive, and although you get some land, having to pick moss out of your teeth does not sound as fun as cleaning out the sand ...
    It helped us get a visual around Gilbert

    Used to live in Gilbert up until May. It’s a beautiful and very safe place to live. The only problem I had with the area is that the people tend to be fairly ignorant and rude. Parking in downtown tends to be an issue on weekends and on event days and freestone is definitely a good place for outdoor activities. SanTan village is a good place to meet people especially if you’re a teenager. I lived off of power and baseline. Used to drive all around Gilbert when I was younger. Wish I could’ve stayed. Had to move for financial reasons, it’s fairly expensive to live there. Not as bad as other places but it’s definitely not cheap. especially to own a house

    Good video i’ve heard alot of good things about Gilbert. You’re probably more focused on your american audience who move from state to state. But i’m from Europe and wonder if it’s really that dangerous there as people say in the US (AZ). I’m not used to an environment where everyone can have a gun. And if it’s true you can end up with tens of thousands of dollars in debt if you have health problems? It’s hard to understand since in the West of Europe you’re fully covered always. So maybe you can use these topics for a new video. Peace

    • @ArizonaLiving
      @ArizonaLiving  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ralph, It’s 100% true that you can end up in seriously debt if you have health issues, even if you have health insurance. All depends on your plan of course. The insurance will only cover so much.
      It’s not very dangerous here unless you goto shady areas at night.
      Thanks for the suggestion!

    - Hey Arizona. I'm from New Jersey also and love your videos. Can I ask you a question? How much cooler does the dry heat temperatures feel compared to the east cost temperatures? so for example if its 90 degrees in Phoenix what would you say that would be the equivilant too in the east coast? would that be the equivilant to maybe 80 degrees in the east coast or 75 degrees? I'm trying to gauge how much this "dry heat" makes the temperatures feel cooler. someone told me whatever the weather is in the desert it feels like 10 degrees less compared to east coast. temperatures.

    • @ArizonaLiving
      @ArizonaLiving  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question Infoguy1978. 115 degrees, even with no humidity is still HOT. To answer your question, humidity does make a huge difference. I would say it feels about 20% different. For example, when it's 100 degrees in AZ it feel like it's 80 degrees in NY with humidity.
