The most addictive Maiden songs: - Infinite Dreams - The Duellists - Flash of the Blade - Fear of the Dark - Caught Somewhere in Time - Deja Vu - Phantom of the Opera - Powerslave - Rime of the ancient Mariner - Dance of Death - Ghost of the Navigator - Alexander the Great - 22 Acacia Avenue - Wasted Years - The Nomad - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son - When the wild Wind Blows - The Evil that Men Do - Killers - Transylvania - Genghis Khan - Losfer Words - Purgatory - Remember Tomorrow - Revelations - Empire of the Clouds - Hallowed be thy Name - Children of the Damned - If Eternity should fail - The Clansman - Blood Brothers - The thin Line between Love and Hate - The Legacy - Stratego And the list goes on and on and on…. Iron Maiden is the true Heavy Metal for me, they master the balance between heaviness and melody, they are so melodic (that’s a big advantage), they evoke a lot of deep emotions musically in general, they usually give you heaviness, real great melodies, great harmonies, emotions, theatre, great rhythms, drama, great song structures and changes, great melodic (opera-like) vocals with fry spices put well and wisely, versatility, and sometimes epicness
"What is the most addictive Iron Maiden song?" I was laughing when I heard that. Only an ignorant would ask that... She thinks that Iron Maiden is a band like all the others... Anyway, well said true Maiden fan!
This is a must, listen to the studio version please. This is one of Harris's magnum opus. And that's just the groovy bass. The rest of the song and album is a masterpiece.
This song is such a vibe. Dance of Death is one of my favourite Iron Maiden songs, and one of my favourite albums. It was the first new album of theirs when I started listening to them so it holds a special place in my heart. Another great song from this album (and this live concert) is Paschendale. It's an epic track about the World War I battle. It's worth checking out! My most played Iron Maiden song would have to be The Phantom of the Opera, off of their debut album Iron Maiden. They play insanely fast for it and the guitar harmonies always gives me goosebumps
For me this song feels like you are in some tavern and Bruce is telling this story about some 'zombie voodoo dancing cult', you look thru the window and some skeletons are lurking. Instant Diablo 2 vibes...😈🤘😈
That's why Maiden are where they are. At the top of the list. The best metal band in the world. And still going strong with the latest album and the current tour. Up the Irons!
“Aces High” from 1983’s “Powerslave” album is one I’m always up for listening to. Also, “Hallowed be thy Name,” which I consider one of the greatest metal songs ever.
Most addictive Iron Maiden songs for me: Dance of Death Aces High Phantom of the Opera Run to the Hills Wasted Years Number of the Beast Rime of the Ancient Mariner
Iron maiden is just the fine wine of metal. Pure class... true musicians, true story tellers, just love them. I absolutely love the melody in this song, its incredible. Along with all their classic iconic songs they still can produce instant classics!!
'Wasted years' is probably the Iron Maiden song I never get tired of... the opening guitar solo stick in your head for sure... That record from 1986 ('Somewhere in time') should have been way bigger (it sold platinum), but the 80's were winding down... Even Judas Priest were not selling as well as the did by 1988 (but still went gold) ... and Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax and Slayer were taking off at that point. And the big hitmakers were - Bon Jovi, Skid Row, Def Leppard, Cinderella, Poison, Guns N' Roses, etc. Iron Maiden were always delivering those punchy singles in the 80's and early 90's... like - 'Be quick or be dead' ... 'Can I play with madness?' ... 'The evil that men do'... 'Holy smoke'... etc. But after 1998, their songs began to get longer and more intricate; they just needed the right producer to make them appealing... and Bruce Dickinson was the voice to make that happen. Maiden singles after 2002 were just not as memorable ('Wildest dreams'... 'Different world' ... 'El Dorado')... They just sounded more captivating & natural w/ epic songs w/ extended arrangements like - 'Dance of death'... 'The reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg'... 'For the greater good of God'... 'Paschendale'... etc.
Everyone is going to give you different songs, because Iron Maiden has 95% classic songs in their discography. In my case the most addictive is Strange World, but songs like The Duellist, Children Of The Damned, Moonchild, Infinite Dreams also drive me crazy. Honestly, Maiden's discography is overwhelming and I can understand that a Thrash fan might find it a "soft" sound but I think Iron Maiden is much heavier than a normal Heavy Metal band and their prog side is overwhelmingly superior to that side from other bands that are dedicated precisely to Progressive Metal itself. Greetings! PS: if your goal is to listen to the most "thrasher" aspect, I recommend that you listen to the first 3 albums: Iron Maiden, Killers and The Number Of The Beast. And I say this because they are albums that came out before than Kill em All and Show No Mercy and you can clearly notice the influences of the two bands. Here is a small sample of the most "thrasher" era of Iron Maiden: Transylvania. th-cam.com/video/NY0n-cbp1Bo/w-d-xo.html
this and the clansman and aces high and the writing on the wall are big ones as i sit singing along. hallowed be thy name and fear of the dark. but i just love the band, love watching them.
I found your channel through your Maiden reactions, glad to see you haven't forgotten them. Best band of all time, up there with Metallica for sure. Maiden is definitely a live band, anything from their Flight 666 DVD is worth watching! I literally cannot pick a single best Maiden song, they're almost all 10s in my book.
I was at the Toronto show on the Flight 666 tour. I love that reactors usually react to two versions of Hallowed By Thy Name, the 1982 live version and the Flight 666 version from Toronto
Oh man ! There's a tonne of addictive Iron Maiden songs. But i'll give you the most common and hype : The Number Of The Beast The Trooper Rime Of The Ancient Mariner Powerslave Alexander The Great Wasted Years Caught Somewhere In Time Stranger In A Strange Land Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son Moonchild Infinite Dreams The Clairvoyant Fear Of The Dark 22 Acacia Avenue Afraid To Shoot Strangers. Futureal Lightning Strikes Twice The Clansman Blood Brothers Brave New World The Nomad No More Lies Paschendale The Reincarnation Of Benjamin Breeg Brighter Than A Thousand Sun The Talisman When The Wild Wind Blows The Red And The Black Empire Of The Clouds If Eternity Should Fail The Writing On The Wall Hell On Earth Stratego Senjutsu
I think she'd enjoy Forbidden-Twisted into form album. Really great tracks. Super underrated band as well. For maiden I love Revelations from piece of mind. Infinite dreams, Can I play with madness. Long distance runner. Be quick or be dead and I really like Tears of a clown. Every album is cool except A matter of life and death.. I never got into.
true about the chemistry. a lot of that in the clansman 2001 9/16 where nicko, gers and bruce are all dancing and at the end bruce puts an arm around and steers him off as he plays.
That's a tough question to answer. They have countless songs that touch my soul. Every couple of months is a different song. Songs I heard 20yrs ago that all of a sudden are the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard. I love this band so much. The evil that men do and infinite dreams from the seventh son album are sooo good. Transylvania, an instrumental from their debut album, strange world and phantom of the opera from the same album, every song on the number of the beast, I could go on forever honestly
For me this song I can relate to as I did beekeeping for a few years and we had to move them at night we would take them to the Green Swamp in Pasco Hernando and other places would always get a feeling that things would be watching me in the full moonlight from the trees but it was a beautiful experience
I take this song as an out of body experience. I can be wrong, but it's just an opinion. The most played song, for me has to be one of these: 22 Acacia Avenue and Phantom of the Opera, from Live After Death, and Where Eagles Dare from A Dead Live One. All are great rhythm wise and Bruce excels at vocals, as usual. You really have to dive deeper into Maiden, it's more than 40 years deep. Also, Iron Maiden and Killers are exceptional albums with a purely raw metal sound. Kind regards. Edit: Spelling.
Thanks so much for doing on of my favorite songs of all time… loved it since the first time I listened to it. Besides this one, a very addictive Maiden song for me is “Wrathchild” from their very early stuff.
I am a sucker for great guitar riffs, so I really couldn't stop listening to Flash of the Blade and Wasted Years. You can also try other songs from the Dance of Death album, such as Rainmaker, No more Lies or Face in the Sand.
For Iron Maiden ear worms that'll get stuck in your head, I'd probably suggest Children of the Damned, 22 Acacia Avenue, Die with your boots on, Infinite Dreams, Holy Smoke and From Here to Eternity. That said, I think you prefer the stories? In that case, The Talisman, Empire of The Sun, Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner and Powerslave are all good shouts. Revelations and the entire 'Seventh Son of a Seventh Son' album (it's just one long story told across the whole album) are good options too, but are more abstract and will need multiple listens to get the whole story being told.
Over the decades there were a lot of songs that got me hocked when they came out. The first was "Hallowed be thy Name" when NotB came out - you already reacted to it - while the latest one is "Hell on Earth" from Senjutsu.
Iron maiden are the the best metal band imo if u go back they have some of the best songs period . story tellers. epic guitar riffs lol pick anything from them its gold . in the 80's bruce dickinson was the best singer , better than freddie mercury Iron Maiden - Hallowed Be Thy Name th-cam.com/video/Z_TeTKmkjWk/w-d-xo.html
You should check out some of Maiden's earlier stuff with their original singer Paul D'iAnno. Phantom of the Opera, Wrathchild, and Running Free are some of the best from that era.
Infinite dreams, while stoned lying down in the back of a car going through mountains with your eyes closed, Or can I play with madness. In fact, all of 7th son is killer.
Anyone else suddenly imagine a small Stonehenge monument dropping from the ceiling and almost getting "stod upon" in the middle Celtic section? No diss, live Maiden, so dont cone for me, just saying ...
Just seen them live for the 8th time... You have stumbled across masters of the genre. Check out the albums from the late 80s Seventh Son is awesome, fear of the dark etc....
"Lesson learned: 'Don't drink and go near the Everglades.' " LMFAO. Pay attention, Florida Man!!! My favorite Iron Maiden crush song was off the 'Live After Death' release..."The Rime of the Ancient Mariner". Read the poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge first (what they wrote the song about). Coleridge was an 18th century British poet who also happened to be an opium addict. 'Alexander the Great' I've listened to hundreds of times, as well (off "Somewhere in Time").
Give Metal Church a reaction. I'd love to see how their self titled song from their debut album moves you. Because it sure will. And your reactions are gold
If you haven't already been told, this song was written by Nicko Mcbrain, the drummer. And the band said 'yeah about time you contributed to the songs' XD
I started listening to maiden at the same time i started smokin ganja lol and man i would just shut my eyes and the music would take me away to a other place lol yes the herb helped but maiden music is magic just pure magic
With Iron Maiden and Judas Priest there's nothing like their 1980's albums, those are the best of the best the essential Metal albums to have. During the 90's both bands have a really weird period, I think Judas Priest's "Jugulator" with Tim Ripper Owens are a very good album. Instrumentally Iron Maiden's 90's albums are not bad but a lot weaker. After year 2000 both bands are slowly releasing good but not amazing or game changing albums. They just enjoy playing old glories.
Maiden is always great, even when the song is not that good, just like this one, which is far from being one of their best songs. They've got many songs way better than this: "Infinite dreams"; "Fear of the Dark"; "Hallowed be thy name"; "The Trooper"; "Run to the Hills"; "Rime of the ancient Mariner"; "The number of the Beast"; "Flight of Icarus"; "Wasted Years"; "The Clansman"; "Alexander the Great" and, from the 2021 album "Senjutsu": "The writing on the wall" and "Hell on Earth". Up the Irons! 🤘

"What is the most addictive Iron Maiden song?" I was laughing when I heard that.
Only an ignorant would ask that... She thinks that Iron Maiden is a band like all the others...
Anyway, well said true Maiden fan!
Stranger in a Strange Land is the Maiden song that wore out my rewind button (audio cassette days)
Has to be infinite dreams. Lyrics are so strong and tune is so catchy.
🤘🤘🤘
Agreed prob my fave.
Such an underrated song. It's beautiful

Best version of Phantom of the Opera for me is live at the Rainbow 1980. It makes the studio version seem tame.
I absolutely agree with you, what’s also one of my favorite songs from dance of death, is Rainmaker for me
@@metalmark1214 I was literally just thinking the same thing. Live at the Rainbow is definitely the version to check out.

Revelation of Piece of mind album 1983 was like a kid with a candies jar 😂
“Where eagles dare” off of The album Piece Of Mind.
“Aces High” from 1983’s “Powerslave” album is one I’m always up for listening to. Also, “Hallowed be thy Name,” which I consider one of the greatest metal songs ever.
Most addictive Iron Maiden songs for me:
Dance of Death
Aces High
Phantom of the Opera
Run to the Hills
Wasted Years
Number of the Beast
Rime of the Ancient Mariner
The version of The Clansman live from Rock in Rio with Bruce on vocals is my go to Maiden song.
My Iron Maiden song I played over and over was Somewhere in Time from the album of the same name. Awesome album!
Dude that song's intro is so thick, I'm obsessed with it
My three favorites are this one, Hallowed be thy name, and Pacshendale, but there are so many great Iron Maiden songs out there!
The most addictive Maiden song I played back in 1983 when it first came out was Flight of Icarus from Piece of Mind album.

Awesome!!! Seventh Son of a Seventh Son is a favorite of mine!! All Maiden is 👍 ❤
This might be my favorite Iron Maiden song! Although I’ve been known to say that about many of them!
Easy Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner and Loneliness of the long distance runner
true about the chemistry. a lot of that in the clansman 2001 9/16 where nicko, gers and bruce are all dancing and at the end bruce puts an arm around and steers him off as he plays.

The fastest one is Be Quick or be Dead.

To Tame A Land is their masterpiece #1 but they have many good reaction

Classical British Metal Music and Folk prog rock.

Coming from a guy that doesn't really care if I died you should look up free diving with great white sharks and alligators they're so easy 2 control
Alligators and sharks do not do anything when they're upside down _ at that point they freaked out and that's when the spin happens
Crocodiles are murderers
Literally you can use one hand to close their jaws they don't have any strength opening their mouth _ don't do that to a crocodile though
