So, as I've done with the Met Gala in pervious years I decided I wanted to start roasting more award shows etc. Starting with the 2024 Golden Globes, turns out the show was a total mess with ridiculous jokes and scandalous sneaky conversations... People within the film industry have said that the Golden Globes is kind of seen as a joke, and that it more or less serves as a pre-game for the rest of the award season. If an actor is feeling ballsy, this is where they’ll experiment with the looks to see how people respond. So in a way, the Globes is actually made for roasting.

last year wasn’t terrible! but since the oscars is a formal event, male celebrities were always expected to abide by the black-tie dress-code (which is why female celebrities wear floor-length gowns), so apart from a few colour splashes, i don’t think we should be expecting much :/

If you haven’t seen the back of Dua Lipa’s dress I’d recommend looking it up! The back is absolutely stunning and I’m obsessed with the gilded facets down the spine. I know it’s a vintage Schiaparelli recreation but I think the gilded bits on the front don’t add much to the overall look.

Hi Brad! Abt “No Hard Feelings”, would die if you did a commentary! Was genuinely one of my favorite movies of the year, felt like it was so underrated, and I do know that it was nominated for a Golden Globe meaning that it was definitely up there in popularity, but with how many good movies came out, I feel like it was overshadowed, and I enjoyed it so much, that bit of comedy, drama, happiness and sadness. All combined with amazing actors was great!

The work on Natalie Portman's gown is amazing. I think you should zoom in on it to see the amount of detail that has gone into it. The white on the top is all individually sewn flowers and that motif carries down as more colored flowers are added. Also disagree about having a necklace with it as the gown is highly embellished. Mind you I am really not a fan of Portman. :)

Billie has often said that she likes to troll a lot on the red carpet, like she did with Barbie premiere, but I also think that Billie is creating a new fashion style of the future, which many are not ready for yet, including me. for us accustomed to seeing certain things, perfect, following certain rules of fashion, not alternatives, not special, for us it could be the ugliest thing ever seen, but I think we are like this because we are influenced by the fashion rules of the past, if she plays her cards well , she could also revolutionize fashion.. I didn't like that outfit but only because I imagined a better outfit with her idea, PHENOMENAL idea of the outfit btw , but thinking as a person influenced by the past.. I would have left the glasses, the hair pulled back too much I would have put them a little more in front (because she has a high forehead) I would have made her wear a shorter skirt, no red stockings, and a tighter black jacket, but I realize that If I had done it .. it wouldn't have been so different and special….. 😅 she's probably too advanced for our years, in music she hates using specific genres, she uses them all, clothes? style? she uses everything of every era of fashion, together, she doesn't care about masculine and feminine rules too, in her shows? She brought together hip hip and the pop and alternative world .. in a dead world of creativity in fashion, pop music, with always the same performances, clothes nowadays.. if there is something I'm interested in seeing the future of these worlds .. it's thanks to Billie who still gives me hope in creativity... because those who reject the rules are the ones who revolutionize and bring about changes in history... so we will see in the future 🤞🏻🤞🏻
