    Thank you for doing this video. I'm about to pick up our first JD Zero turn and I'm having the bagger system put on. The salesman told me there's a slight learning curve. But after this video, it's a piece of cake!
    Thanks again!

    Thank you for this! I've one small section of the property that I like to have bagged next to the street and the rest of the 2 acres I mow don't need to be bagged. Knowing how to disengage/remove the collection system quickly will be a huge benefit!
    I had my service folks install the collection system and didn't think to ask about how to unhook it. Unloading 2+ acres of grass and leaves every week was quite challenging last season.

      @@workinghard1490 it certainly was. I can now take the blower off and put it back on in a fraction of the time I spent unloading the bins. Watching your tutorial gave me the courage and confidence to try this myself :)

    Like the old style white/brown John Deere bags. Loved that design vs the black.

      @@workinghard1490 The White Ones were I believe made up to 1997. Just the older retro look is what I like but they all get the job done.

    For the regular lawn tractors, John Deere has high lift blades. And when they say "high lift," they mean it. Engaging the blades sounds like a helicopter taking off! I live in very sandy soil, and the high life blades actually pick up a considerable amount of dirt! I am older and the bags get to where they are almost too heavy for me to lift off the mower.
    The mulching blades are a great idea, since they will allow you to pick up more leaves then normal. They regular bagger for the economy lawn tractors doesn't have the blower to help suck the leaves up the shoot, so that combined with the mulching blades probably provides plenty of lift with the more efficient mulching the leaves.

      @workinghard1490  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Are you referring to the mower? It doesn't have either of those letters. It's just a Z445 (as far as I know). Thank you for watching!

    • @aplante
      @aplante 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Now they have E/M/R.
      I guess that it would be like a M. There was a 425, 445 and 465 so the 445 is the mid-range.
