I loved thrashmoneymillionaire highlighting his friend bloodofwolves' work, but I also loved the confidence of ivanatattooart to shout out her own "inkcredible" art!
I met Steve Moore and his work is insane. I was fan girling hard! Iwas in the shop getting tattooed by someone else who has tattoos by him and they are so amazing. Side note: he's such a nice and humble guy too
Filip Leu really did push scale. Hearing stories from yesteryear of him and other tattooers working together to complete backpieces at convention is so crazy.
As a professional artist for 23 years, I find it interesting that other artists have trouble at least naming another tattoo artist that does phenomenal work that inspires them. For god sake though, dont name yourself!
Love how the whole "spinda (?)" Pokémon thing was a deviation from the question, but still spoke about originality and how everyone's pattern is different, so what good is ranking tattoos, really?
if its art piece thats gonna be a difficult one because every great artist make better art every day. so ill just choose whos my favorite artists. male black and gray realism - David Vega and Ralf Nonnweiler male color realism - Karol Rybakowski female artist who can do both on different level - Victoria Lee.
These shows are the only place I see tattoos dripping with color. Don't know why they aren't more popular. In real life I mostly see faded, dark coverings which doesn't make me want one.
I see those most commonly too until I started evaluating everyone with tattoos around me. Idk if it’s because they have gotten more popular and people are researching more, but I have seen more vibrant tattoos lately. I saw a guy yesterday with the most amazing octopus tentacle sleeve that was incredibly colorful and vibrant… and a couple months ago I saw this big huge dude who looked terrifying as heck with the most hilarious leg sleeve. His sleeve was an incredibly colorful new school style Christmas sleeve with a cheery Santa as the main focus… It was so well done and hilarious at the same time.
The dark ones are cheaper. When you go to a random shop they frankly aren't capable of getting the bright colors to stick. It's hard. There's a lot less people capable of nice ones. That said, I have a nice colorful tattoo but it's on my leg and you will never see it out and about
Are you talking about the only woman in the world whose work is certified as contemporary fine art by the MACRO museum in Rome? Ya, she's so embarrassing. Definitely not objectively RIDICULOUSLY talented and accomplished.
If you don’t believe you are the best at something are you even living right? I definitely get what you mean, but I think you have to be your biggest fan sometimes
I disagree, because 1) if I could tattoo like that then I'd be my favorite too, 2) you're always going to do a better job of matching your own taste than anyone else is because you can make exactly what you want to, and 3) she's clearly talking about tattoos she loves that were meaningful to her career, which is almost always going to mean more to you than something you just saw on Instagram once.

That bird tat! Super cool.
I immediately looked up Pony’s favorite tattoo on Instagram and now I’m following her. Holly hell, her work is amazing.
Green hair at the end swapping the question to pokemon is SUCH A MOOD
Mostly everyone - praises other tattoo artists
One lady - I praise me.
could not stand her, skipped her part.
Her answer was "out of the ones I've done, the giraffe is my favorite and here's why." It's pathetic that it bothered you.
they said in the beginning it could be one they've done
Thought that but then saw her tats which were next level
And she was right about that , cause those tatoos were briliant

Bobby Cupparo’s campfire piece it’s my favorite ever.
Anything Paul Booth does. Period.

He's still tattooing.

Love how the whole "spinda (?)" Pokémon thing was a deviation from the question, but still spoke about originality and how everyone's pattern is different, so what good is ranking tattoos, really?

I want Courtney aka Blood of Wolves, to do a Bubbles as Mojo JoJo on my calf & Raava on my back
I have a BBRung tattoo 😎
Just curious, why do you censor the swearing?
Advertisers, plain and simple. Censored swearing is more acceptable than just letting the f-bombs drop.
Everything from Luciano Calderon
“He’s all dead and fallen and whatever”
Bob Tyrell all the way
if its art piece thats gonna be a difficult one because every great artist make better art every day. so ill just choose whos my favorite artists.

Is this some sort of a transphobic dig? What’s with the binary ‘male’ and ‘female’
For me, there are 151 pokemons. Everything past that is trash.
eh this one kinda devolved into not showing me awesome tattoos to blah blah blah artist sitting in a chair ego or whatever the editor wanted to do
Fuck yeah spinda!
Got some dead ink there
Who did the black and white old man smoking a pipe big back tattoo?

@@linglingspacewhales1977 --Sounds great!
They usually don't age very well
i have simple, bold, black & gray tattoos and they have barely aged. some of my color tats that see the sun are noticeably washed out

Phlyers
release the trash talk rock footage you cowards
oh dear these are not good. i thought they would be stating things like carlos torres
Ok, but Snuffy's butt tho.
Funny how many of those tattoo artists have bad tattoos on themselves😅
Everyone starts somewhere.
the one blowing her own horn was kind of embarrassing. lol
The mohawk lady?

I thought spinda was a bear ._.
Pandas are bears though?
They overthought the question.. just say any piece you like a lot.. simple
Buncha gatekeepers...
Maybe I've been living under a rock, but what does "gatekeepers" mean?
How are they gatekeepers in this video? All they are doing is praising the work of certain tattoo artists.
@@nickj12 Maybe I've been living under a rock, but I asked the original commenter what "gatekeepers" mean. Can you please tell me what that means?
Ah yes, they are clearly gatekeeping by... uh.... praising other artists who inspire them? I don't think that word means what you think it means, bud.

Wer are your black tattooist????
Dont get tattoos. makes it easier for cops to keep track of you.
Or, get all the tattoos you want and refrain from murdering people or trafficking tons of fentanyl. Either way.
On ink master there was a tatt of a clown on a carousel horse but it was a rubber chicken. I think clean rock one did it RIP
9:25 how do I find a vegan version of her as a friend😂
She had to ruin this with the Pokémon BS!!!
Very true @thrashmoneymillionaire has a ton of great work out there
