What are your Lightroom hacks?
my fav lightroom hack is using photoshop :), seriously though a lot of good stuff in this vid well done.
You know, I have seen so many "you haven't seen these tips"-videos.
This one is the first one that actually brought up some great and even hidden features. A lot of it I already knew, as I like to dig through my settings, but also some cool things like renaming colours.
Thanks alot for this video!
Learned a lot about making Lightroom more "efficient". Excellent!
This is a brilliant channel.
Some golden tips in there, thank you!
This is such a fantastic tutorial. You have helped me to have a less time consuming and more seamless workflow with Lightroom. Thanks!
Top video on Lightroom - awesome. Thank you
Learned a lot and 'remembered' the hints by pausing the video and making notes for later. Excellent video with a ton of useful information. Thank you!
I just got my first Mac, i have been trying to set up my system and catalogs RIGHT, from the start. Loved all the tips here.
Why do you still have the old version? Thanks for this learning a lot.
This was great. Learned a lot!
Thank you, invaluable
Your keyword organization is so great. I've got about 10000 images, but I'm working on applying it. All images are now in one folder
Many gems in this presentation... however, the audio is very hard to understand / follow. Might be the zoom connection and it would be great to get this in a pdf file.
Wow! There are a lot of gems in here. I will have to watch this a few times. I have been using Lightroom for many years now and there was plenty of good info in this video to keep me learning new stuff. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Nice. Great stuff.
So much awesome information! Thank you! Question: On external editing, why is the resolution set to 240?
Great thanks
Thanks B&H
Question about your renaming on export workflow: how do you handle clients referencing files by the name they were exported as when you need to pull them up in your catalog? Eg. they selected 150 images for their wedding album and you have the list of file names…
i think it should be noted, if you are using Smart Previews for editing, some edits (or functions) such as Sharpening may not be as accurate with Smart Previews since the size of the preview versus the original RAW is smaller. You don't lose anything by using Smart Previews for editing, but things may not render 100% the same as they would if you were working directly with the RAW files, so for example, an image may not appear as sharp as you think, but part of that (if you're using smart previews) is the size of the preview, especailly if you're using something like a 4k monitor. The preview may look a little pixelated. Since people are using 4k displays, I don't know why Lightroom is still only limited to 2880 pixels max for previews, when even Adobe says that your preview size should be slightly larger than, but never less, than your screen size (the long edge), so if that's the case, a 4k monitor has a long edge (width usually) of 3800 pixels, but LR Classic only generates up to 2880 pixels. Programs like CaptureOne can create 4k preview sizes, so I'm not sure why Adobe has not implemented larger preview sizes into LR Classic for people using high-res (4k+) monitors.
Wow! Great presentation (despite trying to drink from a firehose....)
I have a question re auto-stacking of bracketed images. Can't seem to be able to get that

Saving back up everytime LR closes doesn't always stay that way it diverts back to default every week. I've been using it for years but it has never stayed active it always defaults back.
Does this work in the CD version that is still on my computer. The button hints I mean.... L or Tab buttons for exsample
The CD version of Lightroom should work similarly. >Mark
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Have a friend who can't figure out how to take it off of auto import into LR everytime they insert an SD card into their reader. How do you fix this to stop this? It is always better and safer to save it to your hard drives 1st before importing into LR. Can someone help?
You set import preferences in the General and File Handling panels of the Preferences dialog box. You can also change some preferences in the Auto Import Settings dialog box. From the Lightroom Classic main menu, choose *Edit > Preferences* (Windows) or *Lightroom Classic > Preferences* (Mac OS). In the General preferences, you may specify the import options.
since 2Tb m.2 are so cheap.i move all my photos and catakogs to m.2 ssd s
Helpful hints & tips, BUT the running advert for Cliff's "Bootcamp" got annoying.
Not everyone uses Lr/Ps :-/
So then is not for them...
On a Canon "tutorial" also comment that "not everyone is using Canon"? We all use different products... damn.
Most of us do however.
