I used to hate vocals and concentrate on track instead. Because of that, I was always adding more because I felt there was something missing. Now I start with vocals and get them sounding amazing and I find that I put so much less in a production now. The singer has to take you on that journey otherwise you'll end up putting the kitchen sink in because you're trying to make up for something. Just thought I'd mention that in case it helps anyone.
@@BeatAcademy the cherry on the cake would be a Depeche Mode Remake. :-) No seriously. I mean it. The approach of using stock plugins helps us bedroom producers a lot. Ableton sounds so nice just out of the box. And I'm saying that as a Cubase fanboy.

You HAVE NO IDEA how much your content helped me grow as producer and artist, now I´m doing music full time for a living THANK YOU!!! Pd. Please do "Tonight you are mine" by The technicolors please
What I learned with you... I left a comment a few months ago saying that even little artists don't want my beats. Today I have an artist I work with on a regular basis and my beats are very popular. My goal this year is to take them to the charts and I'm still counting on beat academy tutorials to help me improve my production.
Mannn!! Thanks God for you and Beat Academy!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 It’s changed my life!! Hopefully I can share soon some of my personal projects as a results of the things I’ve learned there…!! ✌🏽🤩
a great way to think of song structure and music in general is by thinking of food, there are bitter, salty, sweet, sour, etc, all completely different, (genres) and then in these we have different meals, sandwiches, cereal, salads, chocolate, (styles, artists) and these meals are comprised of ingredients (sounds), take a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for example, it taste great, but I also like ham and cheese, but just because I like both, doesn't mean I should make a ham, cheese, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, it just doesn't make sense. song structure is similar to seeing a food item, and then biting it, you make an impression based off the first look, and then the real judgement comes from actually tasting it, and some foods get better as you eat them, some get worse, some can be overwhelming, some you wish you had more, some foods look incredible, but taste terrible, or some foods like sweet and surprise you by being salty, this surprise can be good or bad, depending on preference. this all can easily be converted to music.
Production is key! Of course basic mixing knowledge. Study production, pick up a song and break it down! Your breakdowns help a lot to understand all of that, also the courses you offer inside Beat Academy has lot of value! Thanks for all Ivan!👏👏
The fact that you can’t properly monetise off of these recreation videos yet make so many is insane. I have learnt more from your channel than any other person on TH-cam, I’m for sure considering becoming a member!
Ya, every time I click the link to download the session files, it takes me to download a samples pack and then even that link doesn't work. Do I need to pay to get these session files? I thought they were free. I signed up to become a member but this is really confusing. lol. I'd love to take a look at those session files while following along.
Emm.. all of the projects have missing audio files and a ton of third party plugins. Do you even check them before uploading? Without the samples they are pretty much unusable.

I'm having a hard time finding where to download The Session Files. Do I need to pay or become a member to download these session files?

So sorry for the confusion. mind emailing support@beatacademy.com so we can get you sorted? There was a big tech issue with our back end
🔥
i've realized that great producers can do a lot with few tracks.
Kick ass vid! Will there be a Part 2?
Thanks

He should use “collect all and save” if that’s happening
Need chapters
