It's not just European, it's also our new 2019 Buick Regal in the United States!!!! ;) Though if I were to buy the new Buick Regal, I would replace the Buick badge with the Holden badge and take off the Regal badge and replace it with the Commodore badge and order the 2019 Holden Commodore steering wheel online and have a mechanic install it for me cuz I'm not a mechanic LOL But I feel more Australian at heart and so I do love the Holden's more so than our American market of GM vehicles.
This car looks great I still want the VXR ver. if Australians would have moved on as the car did Holden may still be with us. Holden Utes look the best and i wish somebody had've done a AWD not that might have been a changer. hopefully Subaru will do one
Came across your youtube channel by accident.I like your review on the "FAKE Commodore".I just can`t take to it.Not saying its a bad car but should of not been named Commodore.I grew up with RWD Commodores with V6/V8 engines over a 30 year period.Like many Commodore fans/followers/owners its very hard too take that there is no V8 engines and no RWD.Not even a ute variant.I am not sold on this car and long live the aussie models.I am looking to buy the last of the VF 2 Commodore model very shortly.Just have to find the right colour and sensible k`s.
I know there are such a thing as a Holden drive and meet clubs with Chevy's and Pontiac's and Buicks and they made them look like it's a actual Holden with Holden badging, model badging and sometimes have the Holden steering wheel depending on their car's model and year. I've never been to one but I want to.
@@gaycarboys Not that I know of. Buick isn't what is was back in the day here. Based on googling some sales numbers, the Commodore beats the Regal. Though I give credit to the Regal GS for being kinda cool, but not original
This is a good reason why Holden is no longer with us. They should never have called this a commodore. It's an absolute POS. As a long time commodore nut, I'll take great delight in taking my old school.commodores for drives on the weekend.
it isn't a POS, but we warned them not to call it a commodore. I remember a holden exec telling me once "we will never chase price". I said, "if you don't meet the market, the market will decide for itself." and it did
Yes, yes they have. We warned Holden, but they had already made the decision to bring it in. We said they couldn't call it Insignia because it had failed twice, and they couldn't call it Commodore. Don't get me wrong, I like it very much, and it is called a Commodore, so it is a Commodore. But, this segment of the market is dying....
Why would I put up with high European parts prices so some rich Americans can cut Australian jobs and laugh about it in their hot tub sipping chardonnay. It's front wheel drive, people don't choose front wheel drive in Australia, they put up with it, we don't have snow, so we son't need it. At least with a Camry or Accord I know the parts are affordable. It's such a dodge piece of mislabeled corporate filth, that it doesn't even have the prestige of driving a German car like a BMW or even Volkswagen and since GM sold Opel to Peugeot, where on earth are the parts going to come from? Honestly if GM wanted to save money, they should closed down their American engineering department and had Real Holden design all their American cars, given how bad the Americans were at designing the Volt and most of the GM crap.

Official DeerFire )
lolol a holden dealer told me they cant give these things away...explains why ive only seen 2 on the road in 8 months
They still haven't sold a ton of 2017 badged version..curious if they re-badge them as 2019..are they allowed to do this?

it was a good car never given a chance. Though, I do think it started to look old very fast. in fact i still prefer the previous model

This thing is nothing but an over-sized holden astra.
Got the calais v ...nice car...just get rid of the crap holden badges makes it perfect
Thanks mate...👍❤👍
No problem 👍
If it used the Insignia or Regal name then Holden might still be in production.
insignia already failed twice. Maybe regal might have worked
This car is a Buick Regal here in the states.
Is it doing any better there than it is here?

Gay Car Boys Also, I don't know if there is the wagon version there (Regal TourX). I find that one to be more interesting personally
This is definitely not what I expected, not at all!
Its not a turbo V6, only a turbo 4.
the error was corrected in the story and and in the description. it was simply a mistake with both models being reviewed on the same day.
"the turbo v6" - there is no turbo v6 :) the 2l is turbo
please read the video description correction.

It’s a stinker. RIP real Commodore. Resales will be so low you will be burnt if you buy one.
This aged well. I've had one for 2 years and can sell it for a profit. :P
It's a beautiful car, but unfortunately it ain't a commodore.
one of the many reasons Holden went down. They didn't listen to the market.
It’s not a commodore. It’s not a Holden.
It's made in Germany, so thats a plus with the german build quality.
Are you ever going to buy another car again now Holden don’t make cars in Australia?
in fact, no cars are made so I'm assuming he won't be buying a car, period
It is general motors though , its Opel which is a subsidiary of general motors
Remove the Holden name
Nah keep the Holden name but drive into water.
Every one of these reviews was just like this one a sales pitch. If you wanted a review you needed to go to a European one in UK germany or Ireland.
luckily for you there is plenty of choice if you do not like this style. it is intended to show key points, and what it is like to drive.
A Holden insignia....owe how cute..😂🤣😂 they want to call it a Commodore
bad audio !
The Australian consumer has spoken get this Opel out of here👉

Rip Holden
Rip Holden imported rubbish
Fucking serious? This is a commodore?
yup
Holdens are a Bloody joke these days.
This was a good car, just shouldn't have been called a commodore. Buyers just never accepted that nameplate for a front wheel drive...
