I can confirm Alpha Jormen does fit in a four story space. Barely, but he does. And, it also helps if you do three stairs/ramps next to each other instead of two. That's been my experience. They need at least two spaces of clearance to properly turn at the end of said stairs. That two spaces includes diagonals.
Every time I decide I want to build a tower base I get this elaborate vision in my head that it will look like a Disney castle. All of those bases ended up looking exactly like your breeding base. No walls, way to many floors. So much less headache that way.
Otherworldly Cells is specifically good for the raid boss, since Blazamut Ryu deals fire damage and starts dealing lightning damage in the second phase. It had to be intentional that they gave us an option to breed pals that would have much better survivability for that raid. It might be useful to breed Otherworldly Cells onto some raid pals for the ultimate fight because just surviving longer will result in more effective damage than having higher attack but not lasting long enough and having to cycle out dead pals.
I always put SWIFT on my ridable pals. The difference between death and a lazer can be pretty slim, but swift allows me to usually run a circle around the enemy so it misses. Swift on flying mounts is chefs kiss ;)
I believe the Serenity + Impatient combo is great in that Use Case where the Pal is being sent out and staying out for DPS. Probably only scenario is Raid and Tower Boss if you're not switching in/out. If you're rotating Pals in/out, it devalues the CDR. If you're going to use just that Pal with full Elemental Support Pal then yeah, makes sense to go Double CDR. Also, bruh, your tower of Love is dope. I'm going to make that ish. I only Selyne and Blazamut Ryu to breed perfect. Haven't fought Blazamut Ryu just yet, but it's almost time to breed that army after I finish condensing these Nocturnal Work Speed Orserks.
Off topic but i used your technique with the oil extractor it worked 1st try thanks again! Great video as well havent made battle pals yet but this was very helpful when i do start.
I have five bases and most of them have at least one breeding farm. One base is primarily for breeding and has a barn with two pens stacked and enough space I can add more pens around it but I don’t usually have to. I use the pens at my other bases and just bring fresh cake to them. One base is for oil and plasteel production, one for gunpowder based ammo, another primarily for older pal balls and resource processing, and another is just my home base built on a waterfall. It’s pretty and I keep my more exotic but less efficient pals there.
I've found it helpful not to have a celling directly above the floor square that is in front of the steps. the larger Pals will hit the TOP as they try and climb the stairs :)
my main base is on the highest peak of the volcano, did that without mods when you could clip trough terrain, the view is quite nice and my base and be seen from anywhere on the world
I’ll have to test breeding towers and pal movement. At the moment I have a second floor, 2 squares up. The stairs are 3 wide. Lyleen won’t walk up when assigned. Just chills at the bottom w/ a working icon, and I have to drag them up to place.
I Would go up to 4 high per room. Then the big boys can make it thrue. Also like 4 long by 2 wide with the ramp holes. Should be good. i got 50 J tides going thrue mine
Trying to figure some stuff out and your channel is the best I’ve seen for in depth Palworld info. Sorry if you’ve covered these in previous videos. What’s the best way to breed good stats? Seems like it’d be getting the passives you want, then breeding it w/ a high stat zero passive. If so, any good way to get those? Does blank Yakumo work? What pattern do you use for valuable breeding pals? What I’ve been doing is getting a Yakumo of each desirable passive (basically treating like synchronize abras in Pokemon, if you’re familiar) and male/female blanks I swap out when finding better stats. Think it’d be more efficient to keep certain high usage pals w/ various sets of passives, but not sure. Might set up viewing cages dedicated to their storage. Have you looked into the new shroom pal that lowers sanity loss at base? And the one that increases crop yield? If the effect is strong enough, especially if it stacks, seems like it could get nutty.
Get Passives 1st then go for ivs. works out better. 2/2 is best but 3/1 and 4/1 works as well. Blanks are REALLY good for transferring passives but hard to find good ive on one. If anything you could take ur breeding pars, or a blank that has good ivs (70+) and use iV fruits to get them to 100s As far as the Shoomers and lullus can stack from with i have seen so far. i will be putting out videos, i Just got done with maxing out 30 J tides and 20 Knocklums for the Raid. Took a While even with 37 breeding pins. lol

(So happy I found out how to recover saves.) So far got that Lulu effects growth speed, stacks, and does not need Lulu to be awake. 2 will reduce berry growth time from 1 min 30 sec to 1 min. 1 I think was 1 min 10 sec? Forget, since power outage took out work. Need to condense and test on different crops. Shroomer was interesting, since there’s a lot that effects sanity which I don’t have the best knowledge on. (When testing normal work conditions my pal merchant started increasing sanity about 5 min in. He had just woken up. Was sleeping on dirt before.) Anyways, harshest work conditions drop sanity about 10 per min if not working. If working think it was 10 per 45-ish? One shroomer seemed to kick it up to 1 min 10. What I’m hoping is maxing shroomer will allow for harshest work conditions. Considered also using it just to drop sauna breaks, but tbh I kinda like watching them chill. Plus leaning into the whole sweatshop thing fits the vibe I want with the game anyways.
that tower is disgusting, but 100% the way to go for endgame. I hadn't considered using the monitoring stand to sort pals, great call, no more chasing down jets. Honestly none of the space pals interest me. the XG is probably the closest to exciting but the pure dragon typing and high defense really isn't useful to me. Selyne is just a worse Libero imo.
I just started breeding Jormuntide for the Blazamut Ryu fight. Looks like I'm going back to the drawing board to make sure I get Impatient instead of Lord of the Sea.
It feels hard to believe that the 15% boost to cooldown reduction from impatient is *actually* enough to warrant taking off an attack boost, it just felt like a low number. But Ferocious *is* only 20% attack boost so I guess the numbers do even out. I guess if I had to choose between 80% attack and 30% cooldown reduction or 60% attack and 45% cooldown reduction it *would* be a pretty clear choice, but it just feels weird still.
Gonna try and see if otherworldly cells can be passed onto a different pal for giggles. Still stuck on getting enough cakes for any sort of breeding farm though (I've used all my bases, 3 for oil extraction one for farms and one of which is strictly a raid boss arena) Still novice at building and find that the breed farms are always telling me all area should be on the ground/ can't build because overlapping structure or character even though the area is flat especially on roof structures.

Can you do a video rushing the oil rig just for the big chest? what does it take? a fast jetdragon to get there, verdash for movement speed and 3 gobfins? or swap for a fenglope (swift runner legend burly body) for extra dash speed?

I know is a little off topic question but I know you are a god at this game so I ask you here, I have problems sustainng flying pals hunger during combat and flying around and I'm sick spamming hundreds of cooked berries so what is an efficient food to resolve this problem? @@rotony1How many berries do you typically have in the food bag slot? Long as you have enough it shouldn’t be an issue. Berries are something which you can easily farm ridiculous amounts of. You could look into stat boosting foods, but that’s not going to help much if berries aren’t cutting it. Berries are the easiest bulk food. Once you can more efficiently produce, then you can start looking to other foods.
I Keep like 500 cooked berries on me at a time in my food bag for just getting around. As far as fighting, Cheese Burgers are the GOAT for attack. Or the hotdogs for defense
So, do Serenity and Impatient increase the number of attacks done in a given time frame (attack speed) or increase how quickly the attacks cooldown (cooldown rate) by their respective percentages? Let's take Serenity for example. If an attack has a base cooldown of 6 seconds, it can get off 10 attacks in a minute. If Serenity increased attack speed by 30%, then that attack would get 13 attacks off in a minute and thus have a cooldown time of roughly 4.6 seconds and have its cooldown rate increased by roughly 23%. If Serenity increased cooldown rate by 30%, then the attack would have a cooldown of 4.2 seconds and thus get roughly 14.3 attacks off in a minute and have its attack speed increased by roughly 43%. The distinction also has implications on how impactful stacking Serenity and Impatient could be. As in the best case scenario, together they could increase the cooldown rate by 45%, leaving only 55% of the base cooldown and increasing DPS by 82%. I'll do some testing when I have the time to see what the deal is.

I will do an update about that on discord, it's not that obvious but there are some cases where one is better than the other and vice versa.

Its pretty ez, the pilers it what to the longest. but u can use a Galclaw to slowly fall down the sides to set the pilers faster

Add about 4 Floors around where you put the box down. should help. pilers as well

I use Azurobe to get there, 3 gobfins, and a galclaw for movement. i can do a full break down tho

Is there a way to actually increase attack speed on pals? Reducing cooldowns is the only way I know of.
It decrease the cooldown, so increase how often they will attack
So unsure how to test if this works, pacifist/mercy doggo to see if raid boss gets given passives
