- Join me to visit the Nature Collective and Garden Society in Southampton, UK! We visit with @FishShopMatt and Dave to take a tour around Sam's wonderful aquarium store which is like nothing you will have ever seen before! They have beautiful modern designs, a restaurant and cabaret. Oh... And they have tortoises!! I hope you enjoy the tour :D

For some reason that's the most interesting fish video I've seen especially the idea of the fish being the stars in the fancy goldfish tank, thank you ❤

@@nanoreefer1622 tortoise are turtles. they are literally in the Testudines(turtles) order.
@@ChrisWijtmans tortoise = land turtle = water. While they do come under the same order the physiological adaptations of the two are vastly different. Testudines includes tortoise, terrapins and turtles.
@@nanoreefer1622 turtles literally refers to testudines. try again buddy. Also testudines literally means tortoise. It is literally the same word. Also you dont say terrapins, you say turtles, because geuss what, they are in the testudines order(turtles).

What a great experience hand feeding the sturgeon was, and the blue phantom plec was just sublime.
It's a miracle you made it back to oz in one piece, you have been licked by cows, banged your head, nearly peed on by a tortoise, fed stingrays, had mokeys jumping on you, ect 😂

really wish you had more time to look at thei tanks that first tank you were at with all the fancy goldflish looked awesome. Also thats a really great idea using the acoustic panelling for the tank stand , gives it a real modern look. Looks like Matt had you spoiled in the UK with some visits

Cool video! Will have to tell my friends about this place and take a trip over there as it's not too far away from them 😀 Got really confused by the tortoise at first, thought you were going to put it in one of the aquariums haha! What was your favourite aquarium there? That goldfish tank was really cool, very minimalistic but worked really well for them! Think the unicorn fish should be called Kevin, they look like a Kevin 🤣 Sturgeon are really cool, at Sparsholt they have a pond you walk over a bridge to get through the front door of the aquatics centre which has koi in it that also used to have a sturgeon in there! You definitely need to check out their fish facilities, they usually have an open day in May where you can see the fish department and all the animals they have there too! That's not too far from Southampton either. Thought you might find this interesting too, but did you know lumpfish are also used to produce caviar? They're really cool derpy looking marine fish that cling to rocks! They're also used in salmon farming to eat sea lice off the salmon in cage systems 😀 Can't wait to see where you go next on your travels!
