    I love how woefully ignorant but funny "just give em the sun!" is. Burr 2024

    I know this is already obvious to a lot of people here, but the reason why oil companies are invested in oil is because the technology is already developed more than good enough to be able to make it reliably and make a profit. Replacing it with solar is basically starting over from square One which is extremely expensive. If you gave them exclusive rights to the sun, the only thing they're going to do is start taxing people for using it, like Farmers which another commenter pointed out. You want a natural tan? That's a fee. Your vitamin d tax

    Its expensive to start over. We need to start over.

    If you are mechanically minded you can literally create a device to generate electricity from the Sun using hot water and like a spinning wheel like rake it up where the water gets hot from the Sun the steam makes a wheel spin but you would need some kind of charger battery 2 store the power

    They'd make legislation that no-one else can harvest solar energy....
    Farmers would pay sun tax

    It's just more practical to use the dinosaur juice while we've got it and have an infrastructure based on it. Solar energy infrastructure is expensive, and the energy is difficult to store in times of high production for use during nightfall or low production.

    • @BlazRa
      @BlazRa 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's bulshit you can get a solar panel that generates 500-watt electricity for $200 cash I'm going to get a few myself and stop paying for electricity so much

    • @francescofranchino7097

      @@BlazRa Oh I agree that in the right locations, solar generation for personal use is both smart and useful. Still, replacing all carbon fueled power generation with solar or wind will cost an astronomical amount of money and time to build all new infrastructure. Storing the generated power is still a problem as well. Individual houses using solar and wind is effective though. You do you boss. You can solar panel your dog house if you want. Whatever blows your hair back bro. 👍

    The thing about solar power is you can’t control the clouds

      Also, as being someone with actual training in tech school for a period with photovoltaic technology, a lot goes into solar people don’t consider.
      Dust particles on the surface and other things like bird sh*t can drastically reduce the output, the tech is very expensive, and underwhelming when it comes to efficiency. Also getting them to point in the direction of true sun can be difficult. Rodents like to chew the wires, not to mention storing capabilities of your battery might be poopy to be quite frank.
      If the government starts handing out the grants for the solar initiative again we might have something. I actually saw an awesome project in Arizona where they wanted to make glass roads with solar tech in them, led lights and all cool stuff.

    Here’s the thing about the Middle East we don’t like to admit we are only there for two reasons one religious reasons. We know if we truly left the Middle East alone there’s a strong chance that many nations would look unfavorably towards Israel. It’s a long story but Israel doesn’t like those nations they don’t like Israel but they respect Israel because we have been there. We don’t like to talk about it but we gave a lot of guns and money to Israel. We don’t talk about nuclear powers in the Middle East but Israel is a nuclear power in the Middle East guess where they got their atomic weapons from the United States. Even their war planes and their money right now we give it to them. We left the Middle East alone other nations would actually look at Israel and bring them to task. Even our European allies look at Israel and say you guys have done some bad things.
    Now we talk about oil in the Middle East but oil was big here in America and we developed certain Middle Eastern allies who would support our ideas and we embraced their oil. Mainly Saudi Arabia one of the largest oil rich nations on the planet. Now we know burning oil is unhealthy burning fossil fuels is bad and if we went green our allies would be in trouble but more importantly some of our biggest industries would be in trouble we love our oil industry in America some of our leaders in America love the oil industry because they are invested in the oil industry. Look at our last Secretary of State big oil industry wig. So we don’t want to divest ourselves of oil we should but we don’t want to. Since we don’t want to that means we have to partner with someone who can give us as much oil as we need but we want someone we like. So we end up back at Saudi Arabia because most other nations with oil either don’t have enough or we don’t like them. People ask why don’t we like Iran well we don’t like them because we kind of tried to take over their country in our political assassination and install our own leadership figure. They found out we had a whole Iran hostage crisis we really haven’t liked them since. They kind of called us out when we did wrong and we called them out when they do wrong.
    So we talk about how to fix some of these issues to be honest we know what to do we just don’t want to do what Hass to be done. It would require fundamentally change in how we do things in America and we’re not like changing things so much because that means the political movers and shakers get up from it. Imagine what the republican party would look like without oil they would have problems finding donors. Nobody wants to go through that if you’re a Republican so when it came to climate change they didn’t push it. Same thing with big tobacco we knew cigarettes were dangerous in the 70s hell we knew lead paint was dangerous in the 50s it took us 20 years before we said no more lead paint it took us until the 90s until we said Let’s do something about cigarettes.

    The fact that kids now have to carry a tracking device in schools and get they have to pass them arou5 the next year also something the parents are liable for (😂fuck that, you gave it to my kid that's on you! No way was that smart😂) but these kids need more activities, not less exercising!
