Thank You from Walter & Marie Trout - Nebraska Medicine

Blues guitarist Walter Trout and his wife, Marie, say thank you to the staff of Nebraska Medicine for the extraordinary care Walter received while waiting for a liver transplant here.
Walter initially was waiting for the transplant in his home state of California at UCLA Medical Center. When it appeared he would be able to receive the transplant more quickly here in Nebraska, they came to Nebraska Medicine instead. Walter received his transplant May 26th, 2014.
This video coincides with the release of Trout's latest album, "The Blues Came Callin'," which details the struggles he endured while getting progressively sicker and waiting for a transplant.

Fantastic, Walter sure does look a whole lot better than when I saw him in the UK last November. Be great to see you back on the road Walter enjoying life again. Until then, I know that Danny Bryant will be a good stand in for you fronting the Walter Trout Band for a short term. Apart from the care at the UNMC, you are lucky having a wife like Marie behind you. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
