    You may want to make sure that your new place doesn’t have any black mold in the walls and that any heat or air units filters have been cleaned. I moved into a house that had black mold and was sick all the time. We didn’t realize until months later that there was mold and our air conditioner filters needed replaced!

      Very good point. Also an air purifier can help.. small ones are pretty cheap. I too moved to a place with hidden mould..it was awful. Ended up in A and E with asthma attack.

    The majority of murder victims are killed by someone they know and Jeanette’s body was found at a known hangout spot for local teenagers. I’m thinking she may have told her mother that she was going to her cousins house when in fact she was going to chill with some friends that her parents wouldn’t approve of or even her boyfriend.
    Someone in that local area killed her. Without proper forensic evidence pointing to the exact cause of death and other factors, we will never know for sure. 🤷🏼‍♀️

    when i moved i was told to try using the local honey, because it helps acclimate you faster to the new pollens. it honestly really helped and now whenever i travel i make sure to buy local honey so i don’t get sick as often

    My theory is she was accidentally killed when she and a group of friends were together. Then the police helped cover it up because her family was not welcomed there to start with and it was easier for them to just brush it aside as an accident that didn’t need to ruin the lives of whoever witnessed the incident. That’s probably why the file was lost until after the statute of limitations ran out and why there’s a weird sense that more people know what happened than are willing to say anything. That could also explain the crosses scattered around her body, maybe they came back more than once and left them there out of guilt.

    Just as a heads up: in America there is no “waiting 24 hours to report a missing person” rule. I don’t know why everyone says that but it delays a lot of cases from being reported because a lot of people think that. So if anyone you know is missing CALL RIGHT AWAY

    Okay i know this sounds farfetched BUT i was thinking about what mother would let her 16 year old child just hitchhike somewhere and be okay with that. And then i thought was the hitchhiking story ever confirmed by anyone besides her mum? What if someone in her family did something to her and they were trying to cover it up? What makes me even more suspicious is that you said that the police was often called on the family father because of how he was treating his wife, what if he did something to his daughter? Maybe because there were rumours about her being promiscuous? Who knows..

    • @fivewanderfree

      Hmmmm didn’t even think about that. And if the father did have mob ties then might have covered it up using the cops.

      in the mother’s defense, people were way less cautious in general in the 70s😖i don’t think it was uncommon for people to let their children hitchhike or get lifts from strangers. i believe the prolific serial killer cases in that decade changed everything and kind of kick started the “stranger danger” thing.

      My theory is similar. She volunteered at a drug rehab facility so what if she got involved in drugs somehow… The family is very religious and potentially mafia-involved and purity culture is prevalent, they want to protect their reputation… I wonder if the dad found a way to make sure the autopsy report showed nothing was wrong, and drugs were actually involved but they felt like they needed to cover it up somehow.

      i looked it up as im from richmond i saw u commented on the reddit thread too unless another rach (im guessing rachel?) w blonde hair husband met a surviving family member. i wonder if there was mold in the house (since it was pretty old and the dad had rebuilt it by hand after a fire which might have caused issues that professionally built houses might not have that could’ve sped up mold growth like if they had areas w sitting water) so maybe the mold couldve caused the sister and brother who dug up the dads grave to go crazy or maybe its that condition where a family shares the same delusion where it starts w one family member nd spreads to the others in the house and i think those two lived together but it also seems mental illness runs in the family and if they did do deugs it couldve made it worse even if it was just weed that can make illnesses like schizophrenia worse and trigger episodes the brother was really into woodstock and even wabted to have his own one and friends said they smoked but didnt do other drugs but i doubt they would admit it to police and police found weed in the house im pretty sure in the article i read. i also di wonder how the brother that shot the family was found mentality insane at the time found “not innocent” and sent to a mental hospital but then eventually joined the military??? how just how fr?!

    Regarding the time wait for missing people, my mom had to report me missing once (I didn’t call her to let her know where I was at, and I was MIA until 2 am, *ahem I was 14 and lacked any brain cells 💀) they told my mom she’d have to wait 24-48 hrs before she can make an official report, my mom angrily said to them “oh you mean when she’s long gone in a field or ditch? Is that when you’ll do something?!” She said they couldn’t even respond back to her bc really how would you? She wasn’t wrong, bc as you clearly stated, the first 24 hours are crucial. I was okay, just inconsiderate and reckless of my moms feelings.

      Lowkey that’s why the police won’t do anything for the first 24 hours. Because more often than not, it’s because a teenager ran away or didn’t call that they wouldn’t be home… It’s just that we clearly only hear about the cases when the person doesn’t come home.

    Hi Bella! It’s hard to say how she died since her body was so decomposed. I don’t believe the occult or drugs on her part was the culprit. If it was foul play, strangulation may have been the cause. But what if she had an underlying medical issue that no one knew about? Not even herself. Could she have just collapsed & then died? If someone was with her, could they have just ran in fear? Hope you feel better soon

You don't have to answer because that's obviously a personal question, but I hear a lot of women like me talking about hypothyroidism and also having hysterectomies...and there's probably no correlation..cause it's seemingly unrelated, but it really makes me wonder. 22:32 Sooo considering the crime scene photos show no sticks or wood or whatever that was talked about so much in the beginning, why does the crime scene sketch from the report show those pieces of wood? It's like they're either completely fabricated or someone moved them before taking the photos, neither of those scenarios are acceptable. 😅 But I am super intrigued by that portion of the case and I really want to know which scenario is accurate!

    Also, try and get a good air purifier. We have a molekule and even though we live-in a high-rise with poor ventilation, we no longer get congested or sneeze incessantly anymore. So many people are getting sick over and over again. My doctor told me that it’s because we wore masks and stayed away from people for two+ years. Basically, our immune systems aren’t up to par after being unused for so long. ☹️🤧🤒

    • @Jenahh-aye
      @Jenahh-aye ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When you build immunity to germs your body retains the antibodies to those specific germs. You don't lose your defenses. Germs are evolving due to milder winters in larger portions of the planet. Without a solid freeze to kill or subdue them, germs continue to thrive and multiply. It's actually a fascinating process. London is also a very damp region. Bacteria loves damp areas they multiply and hang around. So do mildew and molds.

    • @Jenahh-aye
      @Jenahh-aye ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also your immune system is never unused or out of practice. It's constantly in sentry mode and working out as you face constant interactions with bacteria, germs, food born illness even if you are a hermit for a decade. These things exist on your skin, in your food, in your water, in the air, inside your own body. The only reason isolated populations have no capacity to fight off germs is because they have had no prior exposure and as such, they lack antibodies. You have antibodies. Unless u have an autoimmune illness you are at the same level you were before covid. And if you have an autoimmune illness covid just protected you from exposure and you wouldn't have noticed progression of illness until more regular exposure commenced.

    • @Jenahh-aye
      @Jenahh-aye ปีที่แล้ว

      There's also going to be uptick of illness with fresh hosts for them to spread between. So more germ friendly weather allowing them to flourish and evolve, and uptick of exposed mucus membranes to fester in and spread between. It's a magical wonderland for a stronger population of germs. In portions of asia they have majority worn masks, atleast during cold and flu seasons for decades. No uptick in failing immunity at any juncture. So we even have a control population to measure it all against. You're just living with a sturdier population of germs and humans are a great vessel for them. I mean perfect storm really. But it is absolutely fascinating.

    Such a shame as it is an incredible place.

    So maybe there's something with her dad being potentially linked to organised crime and potential cop cover up? Because she was beaten, she wasn't SA'd so like, why her? Maybe she was being used to send a message and her personal belongings were proof of death?

    My mother hitchhiked in the early 2000’s. I mean she did it once, but until this day I am questioning her actions. She was waiting for a bus, to another city, with my small baby sister in her arms, but the bus was not coming so a man came to her and asked if she wanted to have a ride.. and she agreed. Thank God nothing happened. But as well in the early 2000’s , one women came to our house , to ask for pills for her sick child. My mother and grandmother let her inside, and when they were searching for the pills, that lady stole my mother’s wallet. So this goes to show how trustful people were of others not so long ago.

    If the body wasn't surrounded by wooden crosses, what's the reason it was ruled as homicide? It's straight forward accident in case the body was not positioned by someone else.

    😮 We moved from London to the USA. We were told that it’s ‘normal’ to be sick a lot for the first couple of years when you immigrate/emigrate! It’s apparently about how colds & flus travel around the globe. 🌎 It’s the same when you move back to your country! 🤧😷🤒

    the cover-up theory kinda stays consistent between a policemen saying there was crosses around her body and saying it was associated with a cult. also when that guy was trying to protest for a retest and they wouldn’t, maybe a cop found her and there friends doing something near/in the woods late at night (just like the women who picked dropped her off said) and her friends left her because there scared teens and the cop killed her.

    I normally wouldn't jump to the serial killer theory, but..there are dead animals in the area too. Strangulation is common with murderers. Initially, I thought it was a family thing. Seems like possible abuse in the family, they were described as recluse--very odd for a family with what? 6 kids! Nobody went outside? Then they're super religious, but allowed hitch hiking? I know hitch hiking was common, but religious families usually don't approve of their daughters being in a situation where she could be alone with a male. They seemed ok with boyfriend though. Anyway, IF crosses were around her like that, I can see a family/friend doing that in an accidental murder or someone close to her who felt bad afterwards. I don't believe the woman that claims she picked Jeannette up. The Kottinger serial killer was indeed very brutal with his victims and she doesn't fit that m.o. I'm thinking a boy close to her age did this. How did the dog get up there to get the bone?

    Irrigate your nostrils w nose spray before you leave the house and when you get home. Since your nostrils are one path for germs to enter ur system it makes sense to do this & Brittany vasseur swears that her and her kids haven’t gotten sick nearly as much since doing this 😊

    Getting sick when moving to a new place far from home is really typical. I worked in healthcare and almost never got sick, despite being around people constantly all day, but when I moved from North America to Europe, I was sick constantly for the first year! I think your body just doesn't have immunity to the strains of common colds and the like that circulate your new environment. It will get better eventually if you can tough through it 😅

    Hi everyone. I was a teenager in the mid to late 70's & I hitchhiked everywhere I went until I was almost raped by the guy who picked me up. I never hitchhiked after that. But I for sure never told my mom because she probably wouldn't have let me leave the house. These days I'm disabled & use a rolling walker & I have random people offer me rides all the time. I have never accepted even in the rain or when a woman offers. God knows I've watched enough true crime where the sick men use their sick women to get girls or women for them. Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates & Happy Holidays & New Year to everyone also. 😊

    So if I was investigating this I would look very closely at the female truck driver. 1st if she’s correct she’s the last person to see her alive. 2nd the victims friends need to be further investigated cause if the truck driver is right and the victim met up with more than one person than someone somewhere knows something they aren’t saying, 3rd is the truck driver in anyway related or connected to the local police or officials, as in could her story be a further attempt at a cover-up/throwing the case way off with her testimony.

    I wouldn’t think an opportunistic killer would have gone to a random place so hard to get to. They’d have just dumped the body. And if it was a popular hangout why did it take so long to find her. I say local officials kid who knew the place well. Local coverup.
