- What’s up guys, here is the video you have all been waiting for! Some pulls with the Tomei exhaust on my buddies 2021 MK5 Supra! Catless downpipe and pops tuned off. I’m 100% buying this exhaust. The sound at lower speeds around 4k rpm is just amazing. Let me know what you guys think in the comments down below. Also I believe I got my camera settings dialed in…I’m really pleased with how this video turned out! For best sound quality I recommend headphones! I hope you guys enjoy!

yeah but the majority of this sound is catless DP and pops off... thats the real comparison that matters. stock catless dp pops off vs this I wager isn't much of a difference, like every other aftermarket exhaust for the Supra since stock is so good already.
@@sly9263 I think he had a tune to reduce the pops, imo it makes the car sound better. Pops are very unnatural

A lot of people hated on the B58 for being a BMW engine, but it's just such a good engine, the only thing they should've done different was having manual as an option
BMW has a manual gbox for it too. why it wasn't an option for the supra i will never understand

It's a great engine, problem is it's not a 2JZ successor like everyone wanted, that's why people hate on it.

@@qwnc_ Because the GR Supra has the newest version of the B58. The manuals that were already released were for older versions of the B58. They have different transmission housings.
Great audio bro, the exhaust note came through very well.
I really enjoy my AWE track edition because of the deep tone. The Tomei sounds more aggressive though.
Yeah my ETS has a much deeper tone but the Tomei has a really nice sound around 4-5k rpm

For some reason, the titanium piping and single exit work for a lot of cars. I have a tomei in my '18 WRX and to begin with it could never rival the EJ's exhaust note but the Tomei sure does help a lot.
Getting this installed over winter for the spring, can't wait to hear it paired with the 6870!

If you start the Supra when it’s already warm (so it’s sat less than around 25 min) it will do a startup roar in both normal and sport. Sport it will burble a little as well.

Can’t wait for the targa tops to come back. The concept was done 6-7 months ago and I think someone uploaded a video on it yesterday. I love the way this thing sounds coming off throttle and the turbo spooling down. No pops thank goodness

Absolute beast of a car, after seeing this video i will always love the mk5, i honestly could say this is quite a stretch from the MK4, id say i would prefer the MK5 over the MK4 anyday now!
The MK5 is a great car! You can make great power relatively quick and inexpensive
What I've noticed on mine is that it starts up with a "roar" most times when I turn it off in sport mode.
Yeah I notice that with mine but his was like holding the rpm higher for a tad longer…we were thinking it was because he’s on full E85

Personally the way see it, people that hate on this car are spoiled little sh*ts that probably either don't even have a drivers license or drive a prius. Today it's not obvious anymore that cars like exist because it becomes harder and harder for manufacturers to build cars like this within all the regulations regarding the climate and such. This car is just the perfect package: A really good looking sports coupe with unlimited tuning potential, a great reliable 6 cylinder engine, RWD and an amazing sound. What's to whine about?

I just got a M240i i know its far from the updated supra engine but MY god do I like my B58 !!!!!!!!!!!!! Just did resonator delete and will do DP and MHD soon.....shits crazy

FYI it's A90 not mk5, there's no such thing as mk1-2-3-4-5, it's a60,a70,a80,a90.

I love the way it sounds. Especially with the pops turn off
so if you leave it in normal mode with this exhaust it doesn't pop. if you put it in sport massive flames loudest pops iv ever heard may be too loud thinking of going catted dp now.
Oh yeah it’s super loud with a catless DP. Yeah you have to turn the pops completely off. Hopefully getting my car back tomorrow or Tuesday with the new exhaust and Pure800 on!
