    Nice pictures! 👍👍👍
It's not a problem that there ist no parking area there! It's a great thing, that this is the case! I think It's ok to bring a little bit effort, for a great picture!
What do you think, why is the big wood fence around the St. Johann chapel? 😉
...the Seceda is the peak, where the cable car ends. On the far right side from your viewpoint. This mountain range is called the "Geisler Group". 😉

I'm going there next month. What lens would you recommend for the st magdalena shot. I've got sony 24-105/f4. Would that work or is a longer focal length needed?

I walked up that road you were driving on. Out of all the places I've been in the world, this is my absolute favorite.

If you still know the name of the road and the farm Tim was next to when he shot the second photo with the church and the Dolomites, could you please tell me? 🙏🏼 We‘re in Südtirol right now and would like to walk up to that place, too. Thank you so much in advance!

@@gabrielle9191 The name of the road is Magdalenaweg. Where he stopped at the sheep, there is a road to the right that leads to the church, but if you continue straight you will cross a small bridge and the road turns left - at that area look for a small foot path to your right that goes up the hill - that is the spot to get the "famous" picture of the dolamites. Enjoy your time there. I've been to many places but that is our most favorite of all!

Once again, a good video. Love the story on how you arrive early to locate the best position and get ready for the short window for the best lighting during the sunset. A good demonstration of how to use the graduated neutral density filter.

A fantastic result Tim - and it does emphasize the pre-work that is often needed to get a great result . Well done , explained and executed.
Even loved that first church pano in the harsh light - sure, the golden hour light is always wonderful, but other lighting conditions are enjoyable as well :)
Thanks for sharing Tim - must have been a great trip

Really nice!!! When I was at the 1st church a year ago, I was very disappointed about the little space you have to move around as obviously there have been too many tourists that's why this spot got minimized to the designated photo spot only. Very sad but it seems that too many visitors forced the farmer to do something about people walking over their land and property....

The main sobject on background are not seceda, but the odle group; seceda is the smallest on the right wich is a nice spot to shoot the odle!
Same as japanese... they shoot all the time, but they dont really know wath they are shooting!
And also i dont understand wath you plan and resource for mounths; milions of people shoot place like santa maddalena, odle or braies from the exatly same spot.. that does not need plan and resource, that only need to be like japanese and copy.

i dont get it what your reason what you said it looks more austrian but its in italy, it sounded very degrading . if your liking so much of austria why not stay in austria, im from south america and italy and japan are my favourite countries, im sorry you dont appreciate italy
