Oh man, ... every time I look your vids I'm thinkin' to myself: Why this danish guy has always THIS light ... oh my God, Mads ... incredible photos. It's not like you have days and days. You have one (maybe two) chance for every spot and every time you have fantastic light. I guess that's why the workshops are so expensive: you give a light-guarantee ... :-) ... I love the Dolomites since I was a little boy and my parents spended the holidays with me down there ... in my opinion: the most beautiful mountains in the world ...
how beautiful you came to my beloved Dolomites ... you were lucky to find good weather, it often rains. the orange color that the sun makes on the mountains is called "enrosadira" and is due to the particular rock of the Dolomites which reflects the sun's rays. great photos as always!
Mads, never worry about the length of your videos. Who could complain about too much beauty? This is spectacular. I always make time for your videos and share them with my friends. You are such a blessing!!!
Amazing video, Mads. I'm in awe. I was in the Dolomites this summer, too. I even bumped into you on top of the Seceda, right by the blue flowers. But my shots, even though I'm quite happy with them, are nowhere even near the sheer awesomeness that yours are. Wow!
You are one lucky guy Mads, simply stunning landscapes with epic light. Thanks for transporting me there for half an hour. Great choice of accompanying music too. You may not be God when it comes to the sky but certainly are when it comes to capturing such scenes 👌⛰
A most excellent video, well worth a bag of popcorn. A few notes: At Seceda (4:00) I actually prefer the original compositions due to the white flowers glowing amongst the darker lupines. The mountains are more impressive though in the second shot. Note the second: That shot at 9:46 at Lagazuoi - Just Wow! Note the Third: The Milky Way Church at Tre Cime (16:55) is the kind of shoot that got me into photography in the first place. Note the Fourth: The musical score in this video is top shelf, especially during Cadini di Misurina (17:22). A significant step above your other videos, but the epic-awesomeness of the Dolomites certainly deserve the upgrade. Note the Fifth: Blown away by the black and white version of the Backside of Tre Cime (28:16), my favorite of that location. In summary: I liked it a lot. Looking forward to Chapter the Second - Dolomite Harder.
OMG...so painful to watch your video...I went on a workshop to the Dolomites this past Sept/Oct and all of these places were comepletely socked in with clouds and fog for 8 days straight...after all of that strenuous hiking. BUT, with that said, it was an OUTSTANDING time, because you just cannot deny the sheer beauty of the Dolomites. Mads, loved your video .... beautifully done as always.
Absolutely impressiv. The dolomites are amazing and a dream of every photographer and hiker. This video is so good and the images you a captured are fantastic. I fund it goog that you shows the images without clouds and foggy mountainranges, but there are so good and an excample that such images are work great. Thank for this amazing video, Mads.
I will have to watch this video again. I had tears in my eyes, touched by the divine beauty of our planet. So grand, so mind blowing beautiful. And you skilfully made beautiful photos and captured the feeling of being in this beautiful place! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻. Thank you!
The Dolomites are crazy! I had no idea. Love that you gave a little bit of an inside look at the workshop. Hope to join you for one sometime. Thanks for the video. The photos are unbelievable!!!
Hello Mads, your work at all is great, but your presentation of the Dolomites are stunning, breathtaking and is so delightfull for my soul. Scenes, colours, your comment of it, full of love for our EPIC surroundings. Thank you.
Simply impressive. This is by far the best video I have seen on TH-cam. A TV production couldn't look better. 🏆🥇 I'm already looking forward to the next video. Keep it up. Greetings from Germany
I've just spent an hour watching these 2 having been woken up early by the dogs. They're stunning, epic, gorgeous, all of the words you use. Trying to pick a favourite from all of the photos is impossible, can I have 2? The lone tree with sunrise and from video 1 the sun as it moved down the mountains that you said you'd captured before. Amazing stuff, thank you for sharing.
Oh wow, absolutely awesome vistas. Thank you for going there and showing me this, as at my age & circumstances, I will never get there. Magic landscape!
Just epic! Spectacular!! Fabulous!!! Fantastic photography and videography. The quality of the light was stunning, especially Tres Cime in the golden hour. Worth all the effort, sweat and low oxygen. Onwards and upwards!
I live in this area and although I know the locations, you let the landscape really stand out with this video. Just love your videos, i's a pleasure watching them every time 🤩
I think it is the first time I get so emocionall whatching a youtube video.. Thank you so much for your vids, tips and photos, you are an inspiration. Greetings from Tenerife island

Ha. 20:13 Fellowship of the aperture ring! Great video. Frustrating to see what awesome landscapes I missed spending two days in the Tre Cime area with no visibility due to low clouds and massive fog 😤
Wow, fantastic video, gorgeous shots, breath taking drone footage. I love the drone footage. It brings a perspective you just don't often see. Thrilling! I wish I was twenty years younger.
Epic Dolomites!!!! Fantastic video Mads, I grew up not far away from there and now I’m feeling quite nostalgic.. 😢😢 looking forward to my next visit early next year…
In your own words Mads... that was ab_so_lutely a_mazing! 😁 Can fully understand why this was the longest video you've ever posted and why it's only part 1! What a fantastic part of the world. Id love to go there, but may have to wait til I can go without the kids and have the funds to do so... mind you I do have a back like poor Nigel atm so maybe I wouldn't make the til anyways...🤣 looking forward to pt2.👍
Thanks for the effort to record this new series. The Dolomites, along with Lofoten and Patagonia have been on top of my bucket list. I have Lofoten and Patagonia booked for early 2023 and hope that I can add the Dolomites as well.
