Great video 79th! Just a question, I've been looking into forums for 8th gen civics. I'm thinking about changing up my suspension to aftermarket but some people on forums would just stick to oem. Tbh it's pretty expensive oem so I was just wondering if there's an aftermarket brand you prefer for suspension?
What's your opinion on a part like this vs something like a function 7. Is this a situation where 4-5 times the price could be worth it? For daily driving......
I never bought high dollar parts. I get the same results with budget parts. In all my years of working on Hondas, I have never had rear lower control arms go bad on me. These are pretty strong.

You didn’t demonstrate leaving the LCA bolts snug,then let the car down with the wheels on then torque down the LCA bolts to spec Is there a reason you didn’t do this?

It's the same motor from the Mitsubishi 3000gt vr4 or stealth. Much harder to find nowadays from an engine depot. Best bet is going to be marketplace or Craigslist but they are available on eBay as well. They just aren't cheap. Might have to source one from out if Cali and pay freight. Edit. That's assuming you have the twin turbo. The dohc non turbo is a bit harder to find.
