I wish everyone would listen to this song every morning before starting their day. Such a strong and much needed message. Thanks for reacting to this one. "No matter where they're from, two strangers always have more in common than not." Right on, Tim. I'd only add a reminder that "beyond America's borders do not live a lesser people".
This is such a powerful song with such a good message! Insofar as seeing different people, Home Free's collaboration with Peter Hollens of "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" is right up your alley. Thanks for playing this & your comments.
This is the one that really cemented my love for this group. Not only are they great singers, great musicians, it is clear that they are great people, courageous in expressing the thoughts and sentiments we all so desperately need in these times.
This was recorded about the time BLM movement was getting started and all the riots were happening with the covid lockdown. I love that they were willing to take a stand and let people know in no uncertain terms where Home Free stands...and I stand firmly by their side in this.
@@joerogers7327well it's because one side can't accept reality & are willing to believe lies from a con-man. He'll some of them are even willing to go to prison for him, so deluded they don't get that he doesn't give a shit about them & looks at them as marks he can continuously grift from, and he's bleeding their wallet dry. Poor fu*ks
As a follow-up note. A friend and I were talking about how the powers that be seem to be trying to cause rift between the American people. They feel that my friend and I are different because of our skin color that my friend is a sell-out to their race for siding with a so-called white supremacist. I pray for this country and I have faith that we see through their hatred. Peace and love my friends. ✌️
Thank you for sharing your message as well. It's so important that we cling to the idea that we can simply unify as humankind. Why must we fight and be divided when we could come together and the things we have in life could be shared with others, then everyone could live a good life. Again thank you.
Adam's percussion sounded like a heartbeat running through the whole song which, for me, emphasized the words even more. Love this song by Home Free, also their song "Divided" is great but not played as often. Thank you for the beautiful reaction. Wishing you a speedy recovery and blessings always. Praying the world rediscovers that kindness lifts us all to greater heights.
Home Free has found several ways to echo the message in this song, here by bringing a multi-cultural background defined by the many participants. Tim's "narration" is so perfectly presented with Home Free's masterful backing. Thank you for sharing your reaction to its power.
Again you have not let me down. I've seen a lot of Home Free videos. I don't know how I missed this one. It's video messages like this that makes me proud to be a U.S. Veteran. Again Ginger, keep up the great work you are doing. Peace.
One of my favorite songs that they've covered. The message is perfect, the way they delivered the important message in their song was attention-getting. Love it!
@@ginger_snapz_369 Would really love for you to review Jamey Johnson “Lead Me Home” the version of him doing it live later on in his life at I believe farm aid is really moving :note: pretty hairy fellow but amazing voice
@@ginger_snapz_369 Tim basically said if people were so upset about this message, then they weren't the kind of people HF wanted as 'fans'. Which then lost them a few more because, from what I have heard, Tim did not mince words when he encouraged them to leave.
I usually don’t listen to reactors thoughts after a song (I know that is the point of a reaction, I’m weird lol) but I liked what you said, people do really need to stop all this fighting and hatred!!
Thanks, Ginger. I'm not calling you out at all. I agree with what you said. But it's interesting that just about everyone who listens to this thinks they are on the proper side. Yet the distrust of and name calling of whichever is the 'other' side persists. Meeting in the middle is the only way past this.
I 💯 agree with all that you said, friend. Unhelpful narratives seem to trap people in this "taking sides" thing with no grey areas considered and that is a real problem. Discernment in these times is of the utmost importance; truth has become murky. But I still believe most have more in common than not.

We all need to listen to this message, not just in the USA, but all across this world.
Absolutely!❤

Agreed!
💯💯
They also do one called 'Undivided' that needs a lot of playing. Excellent message.
I'm not familiar with "Undivided". Thanks for sharing! Will check it out!

I agree Joy. In the last three years, this beautiful country has gone to Hell. Everybody has turned on their countries brothers and sisters.

All the people are HF Patreons that submitted videos of themselves singing the song. Great editing was done for this one.
They've done this in concert, I've seen it when it became very quiet , the next night totally different response.
Interesting. I can't wait to see them live 😎
Yes, the whole world needs to hear this, but will people really listen? Props to HF!!!
So glad you finally seen this one!
Me too!

It’s definitely a message that everyone needs 😊
Home Free unfortunately took a lot of heat for doing this song and lost a lot of subscribers.😢
Sometimes losing subscribers is perfectly fine. This is an important tune!
