+Micah Man good day! When this tank was new I was doing maybe 10-15% water changes weekly. But now that it’s been fully established for over 3 years to be honest I’m doing a 25% water change every two to 3 weeks. Every time I do a water change I am dosing seachem products in my tank.
So when you do a water change do you take the fish out or do you put water in a separate bowl with the water conditioner then wait to put the water in what is your process?
+Micah Man you leave your fish in the tank. I use a siphon to do my water changes to make sure I get all the way down in the gavel. If you go on my page I have another video called glofish aquarium guide and if you go to the 7 minute mark you will see where I use the siphon. I have a 5 gallon bucket that I will fill the night before and add water conditioner and then the next day I will do the water change that way my water is room temperature when I add it to my fish tank so I’m not stressing out my fish with water being too cold.
If you made the fish tank that's cool and all but you need to make the video entertaining, you can't just leave your camera on the table and start recording 6:28 of footage then add music in post. You need to add something to keep the audience engaged.
+Heromonkey I agree. I have quite a few tanks setup that I plan to show. And one that I’ll be setting up next week with a DSM. I just love this tank and it’s been up for 3+ years so couldn’t really do a setup video on this one haha.
