    What do you think, when will we finally get FSD in Europe? 🤔

    Hi, with update 2024.38 tesla has added a new Curvature Assist feature that is not in the documented release notes. When you get the new update 2024.38 test it because there should be a message on the screen that curvature assist feature active when you approach a sharp curb. With autopilot active.

    Gents, there is no FSD in Europe so testing something that should not work and surprised that is not working is somehow pointless, and it is not AP foult it is the regulations problem to not allow FSD

      @@robotinreallife SD is indeed approved in Europe, but only on the highway and with HOR. This last-minute paragraph proposed by the UK will be reviewed again in 2027 at the latest, proposed by Japan.

      @@robotinreallife3 minutes in is not early. it should honestly be a disclaimer at the start of the video. FSD is “probably” capable of robotaxi right now. on the other hand autopilot is in many cars and for tesla was never built with the intention of autonomous driving.

      @@robotinreallife I actually just got my Tesla on Sunday, used 2022 Model 3 RWD, sold by Tesla, in very good condition. I have been trying out FSD for the past couple of days. Looks like im on 12.3.6 but perhaps I need to connect to wifi for an update. It handles lane changes, turning, u-turns pretty well. I just enter my destination, pull down the drive stalk, and off it goes. I'll have to upgrade at some point to a Model 3 performance 2024 or a newer variant in the future, these cars are amazing.

    Autopilot is not FSD. FSD is not perfect yet, but is much more sophisticated and only available in the US and Canada currently. (FSD is easy to recognize because, there is a blue line that shows where the car will drive next).

    I want FSD in Europe. Aurosteer and Autopilot (ACC) feel like different stacks to me. Stop-and-go traffic is very harsh in Autosteer mode, but smooth in Autopilot. Tesla M3 2024 std range
    I would love to train FSD in Eu.

    • @robotinreallife
      @robotinreallife  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's a really interesting thesis. Are there any other different behaviors you were able to spot comparing Autosteer and ACC?

    • @mousetreat
      @mousetreat หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@robotinreallife Another ANNOYING behaviour is that it brakes waay to late and harsh into a traffic jam. Before this car I had a Seat Leon FR 2020 with ACC and it would brake way earlier and smoother (with radar) like there is a very stretchy rubber band between me and the car ahead. And seemed even to react to the car in front of the car that was in front of mee. As if he radar detects the other car underthrough the car in front of me..
      If only they would simply install FSD here with the restriction it's only allowed to lane keep and keep distance. Knowing what my car is capable seeing AI DRIVR and Dirty Tesla it behaves pretty dumb sometimes.
