My favorite swimmer. Such a legend. She’s so well spoken, intelligent, and down to earth. It’s interesting she said she felt the expectation of winning the 200 after the 100 but she delivered. That pressure seemed to affect Mollie trying to do the 100-200 free double and Tatjana Smith trying to do the 100-200 breast double. They both didn’t get gold in their better events.
Kaylee could become the greatest Australian female swimmer of all-time. It comes down to who can maintain the level of consistency the most out of her and ariarne titmus.
Love it. Would love to see another 2 IM with those four girls sooner rather than later. Really does feel like any of them could win. Well at least Kate, Kaylee and Summer. Alex needs to figure out that freestyle finish.
@@pierrebeausoleil5885 Summer's freestyle needs to get faster if she is going to beat Titmus. She set the World Record in the Spring of 2023 3:56:08. Her next fastest time ever is more than 2 seconds slower 3:58.37 which she swam winning the silver medal. Was the world record a fluke? She hasn't come close to touching that time in the last year and half.
So which country is she afraid of going to? Or all of the countries since she didn’t want to dive into specifics? China, South Korea, and Singapore - she is racist towards to an entire region of people and mainly asians? What a great role model for Australians!
@@BenSeamer Check the end of the interview. We know which country she doesn’t want to go to. Imagine if she made the same statement but the world cups were in Canada, USA, and UK. What a terrible statement! Does she even have Asian friends?
She’s swam in South Korea and Japan before she is not talking about Asians. She is talking about oppressive governments that she doesn’t feel comfortable being in, especially ones that treat women and gay people so terribly. My guess is she’s talking about Qatar, they usually have one of the meets there for World Cup. And refusing to go there is a great “model for Australians”

Such a humble amazing human. Just as impressive of a person as a swimmer!
Good on Kaylee. It was really exciting anticipating her races with Regan.
Kaylee is extremely talented, beautiful and cute. What a great person to represent our country.
Love u Kaylee. You're a legend ❤

Does the US team not have a chef de mission? Coleman a bit confused there :p

Better to be sooner because I wouldn't want to face a 21 year old Summer McIntosh in any race.
SUMMER WON THIS RACE AT 15 AND AT 17 AND THE MORE SHE AGE SHE WILL BE UNBEATABLE EVEN NEXT YEAR SHE WILL BEAT TITMUS

Top Interview C. H
Why she so critical of herself I think she will regret when she retires. She enjoy the moment and the medals now
What does she have against China
SHE TOOK 4 GOLD MEDALS FROM REGAN SMITH. WHAT A KILLER.
She took nothing from no one. She earned those medals and Regan lost them period!
She said some of the bigger names are staying closer to the pool….who is bigger than Kaylee?

Cry me a river. Go play victim elsewhere
That’s a long bow to draw - do you have any further evidence to support your inference of racism?

@@Geewibbleexactly you’re right she’s racist. swimmers are very racist towards East Asians countries
