That is my motto.
I am a german car driver with 20 + years of driving experience and as you could have guessed: I love cars. I show you how I drive from my POV with two onboard cams. There is “no speedlimit“ for me, only the limit of the car can stop me. I demonstrate acceleration tests ( 0-100 kph / 0-200 kph / 100-200 kph / 200-300 kph ), high-speed-runs and test drives on the German Autobahn / Deutsche Autobahn. With my videos I want to give you a real and raw driving experience with all type of cars (manual, automatic, electric, hybrid) and all the noises that come with it. So let‘s find out how fast I can drive, shall we? But I have one last message for you: Please don‘t test your limits on the streets when you don‘t know what you are doing. We can say that Opel horsepower are not equal to VW ones, for example :))
Opel is fast even with 1.4, and "others" (VW Golf) slow asf, with the same numbers (engine litres and kw/hp).

Don't talk about accurate, 'cause cooling gauge for example was hacked to show ideal temp in 75-105° range. Silly cars 4 unexperienced boys. Made a lot of money working on VAG. Crap cars.
@@kampfmeersauIt's not about the speedometer, it's about the fact that the Opel engines of that time were much better, there's nothing more. 75 hp from Opel were capable of humiliating 100 of any similar car of the time.

good car, I had B in 1.8 and 2.0 - both good cars, some small imperfections but overall nice, but remember to service in time and it will last you long time
My grandpa owned a 1995 Opel Vectra A 1.6 i,exact same model as this,the same red as this car=)).He bought it in 2007,kept it 14 years,he sold it in january 2022..It was so much time in the family.

Ein Freund vom mir hatte den auch als 75 Ps-Variante, als 1.Auto, mitte der 90'er.
Sehr zuverlässig, viel Platz und recht gut verarbeitet.
Nothing but respect but when I look at the speed of the rest of traffic I cant help thinking the speedo is a bit off. Still a great car, people forget you don't need much to get around, and this was a respectable car in it's day.
The first car which we had, it was an Opel Vectra A 1.6i from 1995, the car was purple. This car never dies! Opel's best car !

Super cool video!! I had two Opels in my time, a Kadett Mk 4 (or 5), it was the last in the Kadett range, I drove it all over Europe, including Germany. I also had a Corsa Mk1. The great thing about these cars was they just sipped petrol!! They would go for miles and miles on very little. Nowadays I've got an Audi A6, Mk 2 I think. New subscriber here by the way!!!😊

I am 500 procent sure that the speedometer of this vectra doesnt show correct it's impossible and absurd with only 75 hp and 1100 + kg vectra reaches 190+ km/h because I have vw polo 1.6 mono 75 hp and weighs only 900 kg with engine modifications and I reached 180 km/h 2 years ago it was 260.000 km

@@beretka1389I believe you I know that hp and torq are not everything for top sleed but for only 75 hp engine, gearbox doesn't help to hit that speed. İf you drive 3-4 procent downhill yes you can reach 190 km/h because the astra is heavier than the polo and if the engine is not more than 100.000km and the weather is not windy. There are lots of factors to reach that speed.

My grandparents had a Vectra smiliar to this one. My grandma still raves about what a great car it was. Too bad I was too young back then to really remember this car.

Davon hatte ich 4 Stück vom 1,6 über den 1,8 bis zum 2,0 das waren einfach die besten Autos ( abgesehen vom Rost ) die ich je hatte Super Motoren und so ziemlich unkaputtbar und wenn mich einer fragt was der beste Motor war kann ich nur sagen , klar der 2,0 i mit 115 PS und danach kommt der 1,6 i mit 75 PS nur der 1,8 i mit 90 PS war meiner Meinung nach nicht so toll weil verbrauch wie ein 2,0 aber Fahrleistungen die nicht viel besser waren wie die vom 1,6 Liter wo bei der 1,6 Liter der Spritzigste war .

I got Vectra A 2.0 16v 150ps and Astra K 1.6 200ps, but i enjoy better driving Vectra. Vetra gear ratio its perfekt. 2 gear 115kmh, 3 gear 165kmh, 4 gear 200kmh but ist limited 200kmh. Try to find one Vectra A 115ps or 150ps and you see what its car.
I'd like to drive a vectra with a more powerful engine. Whenever I get one, I will drive it.

In the UK, this car was known as the Cavalier,
In Brazil, Vectra indeed. But the previous version, instead of being the same name in the UK (and the rest of Europe) this car was known as Monza

my dad used to have 3 of this but got one change it got one even more faster first one was 2.0 only 130pssecond was also 2.0 4x4 150ps and the last one that i also remeber was 2.0 but it was lowerd BBS rims on it and it was a fast car i have also a picturenof the first one it looked so good and all of them my dad sent it 260kmh to the max was raceing gsi kaddets and wining and was betting them like it nothing

Check the temp 100 degree wow.
It's just an honest instrument. In modern cars it's usually freezed at 90 degrees and it don't show the temperature variations.
On Opel you can see the temperature drops a bit when the thermostat open to the radiator. There is a big place between 90 and 100 degrees.
The thermostat is maybe a 92 degree. Full open is around 98 degrees.
On Vectra C there is more rooms between 90 and 100 degrees.
Thia is true! Old Opels (and Brazilian Chevrolets) are all analog and show the truth

Good old Opel but seems to me that temp.indicator hit max while fuel gauge went very low, not very good for the car...

Opel Vectra & Optima were sold back in 90's in Indonesia. I think its extinct right now. Maybe a few people still take care good of it.
On the other side, Opel Blazer were quite famous from 1996-2006. Many units are still living to this day
From what i can recall is that i found some people that selling their Vectra A and B mostly on decent condition.
Which is a good sign, since this car also one of the many that i wanted to owned.
As for Blazer S10, yeah Since GM (General Motor) marketed and selling both Original Chevrolet badge and Rebadged variant of Blazer under Opel, especialy being an SUV. It's still owned and appreciate by many people today.
I can said that because my late dad used to owned a 2000s unrebadged Chevy Blazer, he loves the car. Such unfortunate he later sold it because his brother that borrowing it ended up wrecking the door which pissed him off.

Ich nehme doppelseitiges Klebeband von Tesa mit 50 kg Tragkraft. Das hält sehr gut auch bei starken Bremsungen und schnellen Kurven. Du musst darauf achten, es nur auf Kunststoffe zu kleben - nicht auf Softlacke oder ähnliches.
1.6 mit 75ps angegeben mit 178kmh topspeed und laeuft hier mal eben 200 🤔
I have the UK spec Vauxhall Cavalier LS version of this car with the same engine. Doesn't have a passenger airbag but does have front electric wind and a rev counter.
I once did an indicated 120mph on the autobahn which I recon was about the 109mph official top speed.
120 mph is about 193 kmh. This is a very impressive speed for a car with 75 ps. Todays cars need way more power to achive this. I think the decline in the power speed ratio depends on modern emission standards like EGR and OPF etc.
@@NoSpeedLimitGermany The speedo on my Cavalier is not very well calibrated so I reckon it was closer to 110mph, but yes, great engine. Feels very willing and eager. I actually prefer driving it over my much more powerful 115ps 2.0i Cavalier.
Aerodynamics plays a big part. Modern cars tend to have a better coefficient of drag than the 0.29 cd of the Vectra A, however, they are much larger. If you look at a Vectra A from the front, it's actually really small, smaller than modern hatchbacks, so there is less overall air resistance exerted on the car at high speeds.
Tyres can have an effect too. Modern cars tend to have wider tyres which will have more overall rolling resistance.
The way the engines deliver their power has also changed dramatically. Pretty much all modern engines have 16 valves which gives them good top end peek power figures compared to older 8v engines. However, the torque has improved less dramatically. This engine, may only have 75ps, but it has 125NM (92lb/f) of torque. Although when you're flat out at top speed, you will be sitting at peek power in the rev range more often than not so that probably doesn't have much of an effect on top speed. These older engines will feel faster than modern engines though, because they will have more power lower down the rev range than modern engines with same peek power output.
These engines (C16NZ2) are euro 1 emissions standard but I think they were made with euro 2 in mind because they have an EGR valve. So they are quite restricted by emissions already.

Dlatego nie ma nic dziwnego w tym że to auto rozwija prędkość ponad 190 km/h według licznika ponieważ faktycznie jest to mniej niż 180 km/h. Trzeba zawsze pamiętać o obowiązkowym przez prawo błędzie licznika , w przypadku starszych aut takich jak Opel Vectra A jest to czasami kilkanaście kilometrów na godzinę różnicy przy prędkości maksymalnej. Tutaj w tym aucie jeżeli pokazuje na liczniku 180 km/h to jedzie tak naprawdę około 170 km/h. Być może nawet mniej. Dlatego niemalże Każde auto znacznie przekracza prędkość maksymalną według licznika w stosunku do tego co jest podane w danych technicznych. Ponieważ producent zawsze podaje faktyczną prawdziwą prędkość maksymalną pod warunkiem że wszystko w samochodzie jest sprawne w pełni sprawny silnik, natomiast licznik samochodu Zawsze zawyża o minimum kilka procent a nierzadko jest to 10 i więcej procent w stosunku do realnej prawdziwej prędkości. Dlatego też ludzie którzy o tym nie mają pojęcia wydaje im się że biją rekordy prędkości A tak wcale nie jest
