Loved that Ryan its something I would definitely visit when up North for Christmas. I think thats the spirit of Pai not people getting wasted but artist and people like that. Well done on another interesting vlog Ryan.
I loved this Pai series… Thank you for sharing! Having grown up with martial arts, and gymnastics yhis episode was particularly interesting. 🎉 Q: Do lots of Thai’s and locals see the shows? Cheers and best! 🐜
Thanks again for your wonderful, creative style. At the risk of the "broken record" deal....thank you for showing me Pai and what it is about. Now I know that is 180 degrees divergent of my lifestyle and desires. Thank you for the insight. Love your work!
Great episode Ryan. Interesting circus people you talked with and showed doing their performances. I have a fear of fire because of an event in my life, so would not sit at the nighttime shows. No worries, doubt Damo would find it as interesting and as fun as you...too many farangs! 555 A very unique and great thing having this Circus i think. Yes everywhere people are smoking the ganja now, but hey, it is legal. Glad you had a good time and got back to the homestead safe brother. Peace, Love, and Circus acts Y'all
Nice one, Ryan. That was a nice departure from your usual fare and Elliot was both interesting and accomplished. I have enjoyed the informative Pai series and hope you do more videos like these ones. Also, enjoy hearing about Otis.
Interesting place! It could be one of the items on my bucket list, but I'm more interested in the ambiance, the energy of the place, and of course the amazing view of Pai at the end of this vlog. Thanks for sharing!😊✍🙏
That guys vibrations are running like super fast dude. I bet he gets very tired a lot. Doesn't have to be that way. He seems like he needs to find calm and peace within. Slow down those emotions.
I agree. I am a Thai person living in Thailand. It is fun to listen to foreigners living in my country. I also practice my English listening skill by watching English channels, including Ryan’s.
this is pretty cool to see, performing arts is booming in the west and a few of my friends train fire dancing in southern Thailand with the thai pros a few months of the year. i think many people would be surprised how many circus schools and places like this exist in Thailand. run by thais too.
The thing is we go to Thailand, not to see any thing like this well especially farrang...we can go to Scotland to see them...should not be working here anyway
If you like Northern Thailand mountain villages that aren't overrun with hippy tourists here are some places to visit: Wiang Haeng, Mueang Khong, Wat Chan, Bo Kaeo, Om Koi, Samoeng, Pong Yaeng, Mon Jam, Mae Chaem, Pang Mapha, Khun Yuam and many more too small to mention.
Very interesting. These guys remind me of that band the Levellers. You're probably too young to remember them Ryan! But they were like travellers who were a band, but also did all this stuff too.
A spectacular Circus in Pai that I just noted from your video by sharing the information about it. Perform live and recorded at The Paradise Circus in Pai, Thailand. This beautiful 3-hour mix takes the listener on a progressive journey across a vast variety of sounds, and cultures. Beginning with the haunting Middle Eastern music of the desert, winding its way across a plethora of interwoven tunes, and ending with upbeat progressive melodies. The Paradise Circus is a community of like-minded cultures and individuals, who immerse themselves into the magic of Fire, Fire-dancing, and poi. The Paradise Bar, is where it all happens. It was fortunate enough, for a short time, to have been invited into this community and provided a platform, from which to share the gift of music. Enjoy the Mix, enjoy the journey, and lose yourself In The Paradise Circus, and who knows, maybe when you open your eyes, you'll find yourself in Pai, Thailand.
No hate, but I view this as Western culture polluting Thailand. I like performers and artistic expression, but this is not what I'm wanting to see when in Thailand. I'm sure many Thais would agree. To each his own though.
I take your point; it is very sad to see the Asian cultures fast disappearing, and being replaced with hybridised western cultures. But, to be fair, this has been an inexorable trend since Bugis Street disappeared from the Singapore streetscape back in the '70's - and it's been full steam ahead ever since. That said, I think multiculturalism is a good fit in Thailand.
I did have Pai on my list of places to visit, but if I want to see hippies and stoned tourists I can just stay at home. I may be a boring old fart but I go to Thailand for Thailand and the Thai people, not a recreation of Nimbin ( search hippie capital of Australia ) just in some other place.
Thanks Ryan, great episode. I would like to see the circle and would very much love the cooking course. In another life, I was the store manager for a restaurant. The only bad for me is I don't like being around a lot of folks smoking weed.
think id rather skip Pai nxt time im in thailand and just go to Mae Hong Son or somewhere in between i love the area and been going 20 plus years, but i wouldnt like all the tourists...may as well be at the islands if you want that sort of buzz
I did a workshop with flow to learn some circus skills to take back to my voluntary work with children. I really enjoyed it and the children enjoyed learning the skills ❤
What a great place Pai is. Nice to see how the past couple of videos have been more about expats expressing their art and culture in Thailand versus consuming Thai art and culture. How much do the Thais engage in what these expats do?
Ab wonderful to see this generation from all over the world living an alternative lifestyle , entertaining people and spreading positive energy along the way . and how it connects people , including local thai people who will be learning about the myriad of possibiliities for learning and studying unusual lifestyle choices that are available outside Thailand . Top Content , cheers
Going on vacation is to experience local life. Will avoid all these non local activities. Why do they travel to other countries but yet do the same things in their own country.
I am currently in Kanchan. Pattaya is the hitch hikers guide to the armpit of the universe,in my opinion.... But it is at least honest and unpretentious.
Wooo…circus school commitment? I’m sure it’s just me, but I’ve never understood the attraction. As a child this stuff used to scare me. Their environments were always, strange.

I would rather visit parts of Thailand where are no tourists at all.
That was last years series:
th-cam.com/video/zZ2df7QVG5k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_CpMXBrri9wdk4d_
Exactly
Another tourist might have the same idea, then you'll be ruining for them be being there yourself😆
Isan region does not have many tourists, I recommend Nakhon Phanom province.
It's like Burning Man but just year round, festival kids doing little festival stuff 🎉
That was amazing the circus !! Story alternative life styles are so interesting!! Loved this video!
Definitely.
That was wonderful. I will definitely be going there next year!
Have fun!
Cool video. I remember there was some kind of circus group in Pai when I visited the first time years ago but not sure if it was as organised as this.
Got me on the play with words, excellent video
There used to be a pai circus even back 15 years ago. Been around a long time and changed hands several times
Pai starting to look like a hippie colony thats taken a nice city over

The circus in Battambang, Cambodia is awesome. No foreigners.

loved it! great episode.
Thanks for the trip to the Paradise circus.
Amazing. Life can be so great 😃
What a vibe! I fuggin love the circus.
That guys vibrations are running like super fast dude. I bet he gets very tired a lot. Doesn't have to be that way. He seems like he needs to find calm and peace within. Slow down those emotions.
Ryan. Maybe it’s time to start a podcast my friend. I know a lot of Farang want to keep themselves private. However maybe some food for thought.
I agree. I am a Thai person living in Thailand. It is fun to listen to foreigners living in my country. I also practice my English listening skill by watching English channels, including Ryan’s.
It always makes me smile when I hear ''before or after Con-vid in a sentence.
I hope you're now home or one your way home to your family 👍
Thai immigration would have a field day up there! 😂
We have a Thai immigration here 😇

Yeah I did abit of this my last trip and no one really watched so I changed it up this trip 👍
@@thenakedguru I must have missed that. Those are my favorite places (I live in Samoeng).
0I went to Mueang Noi, on my other main channel :)

Keep smoking the weed.
It’s kinda medieval everything goes full circus (Circle)
I’ll probably take my kids to have a look it’s always keep an open mind…!!!
Lovely video stay safe God bless you always 🙏 ❤️
Nice ryan. A lot of talanted people 😂
It is as though we have gone back to medieval times. Interview a jester next.

You definitely need to bring the family back
the family content on my other channel will be back when i return in a few days :)
Interesting maybe to watch a show but doubt my cup of tea being an old set in my ways miso...but you never know😅
Very good dude
Seems to be a lot of clowns in that circus. A real circus always has a horse going round and round and round and round.
This is the most western hippie thing. Sad that this has infiltrated Pai and Thailand.
Why's that dude ? It must be you are an old turd now and look at shit with old eyes.
Yeah however owners are the Thai fire show dancers 👍
The only sad thing is your spiteful comment ......
Pai has been a back pack hippy town forever, just much more of them now!
Couldn't agree more a bunch of dope smoking euro backpackers living on 100 bht a day 🤦🤦🤦

Ryan you'd better get back Chaing Mai is flooding
Lol
Looks like Byron Bay in the 80’s
Good times
Pai is like Goa and nepal were in the 60's full of Hippy types smoking cannnabis. ..pretty laid back❤
More like wannabe's full of there own self importance...
Your not wrong their.!

This is very much in line with the Thai fire dancing shows who also join the show 🙏
Currency exchange rate is becoming very bad
The lazy Farang days are quickly coming to an end….. sorry vagabonds will have to contribute to Thailand in some way…
hahahah got me with the title thought it's gonna be you bitching and complaining about tourists in Pai😂

Looking good, but what's with the green balloons? Please say it isn't laughing gas. Extremely damaging for the brain potentially.
If it's not. Don't fool yourself, there's nitrous oxide in Pai. You can't get that many hippies without having laughing gas there by law
From what I have seen in his recent videos, I'm guessing that's not the most damaging substance some of those people are taking.
You must have run out of subjects to talk about in rural Thailand to comment on stuff like this.
I am currently in Kanchan.
