I may just have to buy this set of darts and for that matter the dartboard. Amazing how the silver points didn’t fall out of the board. Just goes to show how critical the firmness of the boards affect different things. Great video and review as always.
I've probably played on 20 different boards over the last few years and on every single one of them the smooth silver points seem to fall out. Not on this board. It's shocking! The bullseye area is the hardest part of the board and on the last 2 reviews I've had no issues with silver points. Never seen this before! GREAT board.
I'll have to pick these up, I have had that other 19g 95% set they had up for a bit now. Those are amazing & can only assume these are as well! Still waiting on my last 2 sets from Darts Clearance, they made it to Springfield over the weekend, then ended up in your neck of the woods, now back in Springfield. 🤬
enticing but too light for me WW. i have thrown well with a small set before that were bumble bee shaped with wire stems and small flights. darts clearance and the ebay specials(i bought the Gabriel Clemens darts but did not use them yet) that you promote are always tempting. thanks WW. i would like a go with a set of smoothies.
They're not much smaller than the original XQMax. Those were 46mm in 21g. They're smaller than the different Winmaus.. Ed : oops, wrote to soon, these are 41mm! I have another set from Dartsclearence, also MvG knock offs, they're 18g, 44-45mm.
I ordered a set. For some reason I seem to have tighter groups and closer to where I’m aiming when I throw my lighter soft tip darts that have short barrel. So maybe I’ll experiment with some lighter shorter darts for a while. I’ll see if there’s anything to that, or if it’s just placebo effect or something.
@@WorldwideDartsI have a theory. I think the length of the barrel has more to do with it than the weight, at least for my throw. With the weight concentrated to a smaller area close to the center of gravity and closer to the tip, the flights can more easily stabilize the dart. When the weight is spread out over longer distance it can be more sluggish to react to stabilization. This proves true in aircraft. A helicopter with its weight more concentrated close to the rotor head will be much more agile than one with heavy stuff mounted further out. This would explain why my longer dart barrels seem to land more erratically, angled all over the place and my short darts seem more consistent, slightly tail up in the board. With my Javelins I can see the dart wagging like a dogs tail all the way to the board but with these I think it stabilizes so fast I don’t see it, and I have the illusion that it’s just gliding straight to the board. Sorry. Just over-thinking it as usual. But these darts are working pretty well for me so far with short target k-flex stems. It’s just weird cus my hands are huge so I have to grip them a certain way. But I can’t argue with the consistency of how (and where) they’re landing, with all else staying the same. Fun theory.
Something I don’t understand about darts clearance darts- their all very light. Like I never find darts above 21g. As a 24g thrower I wish they had heavier darts
I just had a scroll of all their new darts and it looks like they have an incredible variety at the moment. Yes, there's a lot of lighter darts in he 19-21g range but they also have some awesome stuff in the 23-27g range as well. Right now is about the best selection from DC I've ever seen

Flights are a parody to Sex Pistols album cover for their album Never Mind the Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols
Thanks for the info. I had no idea

Sucks when the darts take the long way via tracking. I've had a couple sets circle back to Syracuse. I look at the tracking and I'm like "WTH" 😂

Sex Pistols fans will recognize the flights.

@@emersonb5764 I've always preferred lighter darts myself. Might be worth making the switch and seeing how it goes
