The audio is originally from THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE. Good job 👍 It reminded me of that.
My dad has 100% on all souls games including Bloodborne the only one he didn't 100% was eldin ring and I asked him the same question and he still said no
I don't even play soulsborn games "never could figure it out and the difficulty didn't help" and even i know this is facts

Dark Souls is the game where you can kill the hardest boss (like Manus) without taking a hit, and then die for a fucking half-naked undead with a broken sword.
There are 2 things Dank Sawls has taught me.
1) NEVER. And I mean *NEVER*... underestimate an opponent.
2) Don't be Greedy.
Or a undead with torch
@@wesleimoura9653 naked hollows with torches and doggos are scarier than any boss
As im going through ds1 new londo as we speak... lol im praying for the boss to show up lol

Good point. And sometime the thing that kills ye is a surprise (or a reminder). In all these years I had never played with the great scythe and I regret that now. What a godtier weapon. Love the moveset, speed, utility and it makes bosses evaporate. The moveset can be a bit clutch though, so the thing that absolutely molested me were the torchhollows in the asylum 😂
Which is fair. We all know how dangerous they can be and learned to tread carefully. But I felt so powerful with my new favourite toy I had to relearn that 🤕
You have 200 hours because your good, I have 200 hours because I kept dying to the nameless king, we are not the same
200 hours for torture fun yay ☠️
WHERE IS THIS BASTARD!? I thought he was the final boss for Dark Souls 3 and ended up fighting the Soul of Cinder of which didn't know jack shit about. So I thought he was the final boss for the DLCs and then ended up raging at Gael for a while and then you know... it ends. When I initially started picking up Dark Souls it was exclusively because I wanted to see what this Nameless King was all about and after an entire year playing through 1,2, & 3 I CAN'T FIND HIM!! I actually forgot about him until this comment here as I took a break and been playing Sekiro for the past month and half 100% it.

The secret is that nobody gets good at Dark Souls, you just learn to suck it up and go again, only to be destroyed by a damn rat in a pit.
Well, it really isn't that hard to get so good in the first game you play to be nearly invincible in the next two.
However, Sekiro still caused me a lot of pain after the entire Dark Souls series.
@@prostopopez I promise you that no matter how good someone is, there will always be a boss whose mechanics completely fuck them over a good couple times.
@@ProdG315 yeah, but not in dark souls series, it's pretty straightforward
@@prostopopez especially not DS1
@@prostopopez It isn’t, someone can play dark souls 1 for years on end and become a pro, won’t stop them from dying a few times in the other games.
After 8 years of Dark Souls 1 being my favorite game, I sat down and got to Nito in one sitting the other day. Proud of myself.
Have you done a deathless or bonfireless run yet? Or SL1? I’m guessing you have but if you haven’t that might be good to do to get some extra enjoyment.
Currently working on a deathless run of ds2 because I really want to platinum it
@qwertyasdf4081 Dark Souls but you can't walk and have to use Melee Weapons except scenarios where you have to use a bow.

@@unknown-pq3fz and how long did that take? I don't have the patience to punch a brick wall to study a bosses moveset for hours on end when I know I simply don't have the situational awareness and game sense to kill bosses like that Orstein clone in DS3 and I refuse to play any game with such a utter bullshit boss as Astel legitimately even if I can beat it, after much pain and suffering. I have never played DS1 beyond the gargoyle boss fight because I just don't like it, never played DS2 at all and I have never finished a unmodded playthrough of DS3, because all my unmodded playthroughs stonewall at that Orstein clone fight. The only two times I have beat DS3 is with the cinders mod installed, first with a bullshit op mage build then with a over leveled as FUCK dex build (Lucerne, my beloved). And I refuse to honor any game with such a utter bullshit boss as Astel with a unmodded playthrough. And I generally get bored of playing elden ring either modded or unmodded by the time I get pass the capital city. I think that it's just too long of a game.
If a game is too hard just modded it to be easier. And fuck anyone who says just git gud.

struggled w substance abuse for years, when i finally got sober. my wife, who isn’t a gamer at all and can’t even play games. (she got a bad concussion when she was a kid so the motion in games causes migraines), she ended up researching about different RPG’s and suggested i play Dark Souls and Elden Ring because “the way people talk about it, it sounds just as addicting as drugs.” before playing these games, the closest i ever got to Souls was Skyrim so it was a big change. but i’ve loved every second of it because of how challenging these games are and i love the idea of just a normal warrior going out and taking on a 40 ft tall undead monster or whatever the fuck the game feels like throwing at you. my wife also knew that gaming was a good outlet and distraction for me so the fact she went out of her way to find something she knows i’d be engaged in playing and would also be an awesome challenge just makes me enjoy the games even more.

Even if you can flawlessly win a gauntlet of difficult bosses, you’d still lose to two or more doggos staggering your ass to death.
Bro Ornstein and Smough gotta be the hardest boss in DS1, after that the only ones I had difficulty with was Bed of Bullshit and the 4 Kings. Gwyn was easy af for me since I just parried most of his attacks
They're not THAT hard if you grind or get havel's ring fast rolling. Being able to evade fast enough counts. Buuuuuuut even if you could, you're still gonna get your ass repeatedly kicked, just a smaller number before you eventually beat em. But where's the fun in easy, play it how you want hahahah.
Welll I’m the complete opposite lmao I loved o and s it’s gotta be one of my all time favourite bosses but gywn was very different and I’m ass at parrying but with full havels armour and running for dear life wins
@@Zenith222 yes I think Gwyn is the harder boss when you can't parry. Luckily he is probably the most easy to parry in the entire game.
S&O are really easy when you have a weapon with a good run attack. I did them today with the great scythe and it felt unfair to them. That two handed run attack swipes from the side so you run past them, do the attack, and because the recovery time is so low you can get away again or to their rear and punish from there, before they have time to respond.
What about manus? I found him the hardest by far lol, but I like how everyone experiences the game differently
Four kings was probably my best/worst in DS.
Best because I did it in my first try.
Worst because my monkey brain did not put together that The Four Kings are… well… FOUR of them.
So you can imagine my surprise when I’m fighting one guy and out of the corner of the screen I see the grayish color of someone… in the pitch black hole we’re in.
So in like 0.003 seconds I recalculated and analyzed what this could be, understood that Four Kings means… FOUR KINGS, and proceeded to go all out and bash them to death in a frenzied aggressively violent panic…

True
Literally every soulsborne player ever.
You never get good you just get better at enduring pain.
Ornsteins edge walk is so on point here
This is accurate to be honest i've been playing dark souls for 2 years and im still stuck in the anor londo for godsake
anor londo was pretty easy
after that becomes hell when you have to go through the most useless complex places to get to the 4 next bosses
You shouldn’t be stuck anywhere in any souls game for longer than a few days. If you are stuck for longer than that you probably need to restart the game because you must have messed up your save file.
@@SunlightGwyn Maybe they spent all their points in Resistance, or they're stuck on a puzzle that requires google to solve it
why? its not that hard lmao.
Good people on this game maker fewer mistakes, rather than no mistakes.
Hopefully they dont nerf it, i love bosses that take hours, days, or even weeks to beat, i feel so good after beating them
Dude so true. Also fun fact. I never did beat dark souls one lol. I rage quit that game for life lawl
You should try it again some time! 😀
I beat ds1 recently and I thought it would be easy because I beat ds3 and I was so wrong
So you’ve gone hollow
I'm currently playing darksouls 1 and try to beat it
@@venomous1908 Am I the only one that beat O&S on my first try? Remember that grinding levels is a viable option. I went over-leveled into the Bell Gargoyles fight and obliterated the duo.
That's why Souls Games without difficulty make perfect.
You actually can make your game harder, but the "hard" part is that you recieve more damage. Which is basically poor gamedesign.
The audio is originally from THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE. Good job 👍 It reminded me of that.
Literally been thinking about this video for the last two days. the "No" always gets me
Me fighting aceus:
I think we can agree the Bed of Chaos kills all new and veteran players alike, at least twice in most cases.
How I play a new Dark Souls game:
First time: Death.
Second time: Better prepared Death.
Third time: New route, more difficult Death.
Fourth time: Old route Death.
Fifth time: Farm souls and cry.
Sixth time: Controller Death.
Seventh time new controller: Oceangate.
Eighth time: Give up for a week, repeat process. 😂
Whenever I hear that "you died" sound I get severe ptsd even though I've only started playing ds1 since a week ago
Only since February 2022. And it was demon souls remake for PS5.
I'M PRETTY SURE GRAVITY HAS TAKEN MORE DEATHS IN DARK SOULS AND ANY OTHER NPC😅
Idk about everyone else, but I beat O and S on my first try. The hardest REAL boss of fought was Seath, who cursed me once and took me four attempts.
I put REAL because the Bed of Chaos took me around 20 attempts and had me wanting to rip my hair out. But it’s only because of the “losers walk” back to it. Its a bs boss though, so glad I finally beat it.
I want to get Dark Souls to play, and man this sounds like pain lol. But kind of fun in a way.
@@foundationuser5043 it definitely is. It’s a masterpiece of a game, 10/10. You should play it.
@@Metal_Screamer Ok cool, I’ll definitely get it since I think it’s on sale right now matter of fact.
I’m assuming Dark Souls 3 would probably be the best one to start out with though right? Especially since I have a friend interested in these kinds of games since he loved Sukiro (or however you spell it) and we might try co-op since I saw you could summon friends in fights.
@@foundationuser5043 I wouldn’t recommend starting with DS3. I’m currently playing it, and I can say for 100% that you should start with DS1.
If you’ve played Elden Ring, DS3 feels the same. So you should play DS1 before you return to something familiar.
@@Metal_Screamer I thought DS3 is the most beginner friendly? Because I have no experience playing these types of games at all, plus I never played Elden Ring either so I wouldn’t know.
I don’t know, that’s just what I heard people saying that DS3 is best for somebody new, since DS1 looks more difficult with the slower movement and that.

This is so true. You gotta be in a mind set to take your time with the games learn everything and most importantly dont get so frustrated you set yourself up to fail.
What makes you good is being able to beat the game with the build of your choice. The first play-throughs are just survival.
the first new anor londo walkthrough was a cake walk until the ng+
I was wondering why everything in dark souls was so easy until I fought the dancer of the boreal valley. Made me play more passively :(
I beg to differ. Without previous DS experience I would be struggling in my current souls like games. I carry useful knowledge and skill that make it much easier if I was to go at it otherwise
a skeleton still kills me one of life😢😢
O&S hit different…literally.
Jokes aside, i feel like souls games have the greatest sense of improvement
300+ hours in every soulsborne since the OG Demon’s Souls and have all the platinum trophies, and I still find it difficult to parry Gwyn’s opening jump, still hate fighting Capra Demon, still hate going through blighttown (slightly less than I used to because I always take the master key or pick thief start), still never beaten Lud and Zallen solo, without fail die to Crystal Sage at least once, always die a few times to Orphan of Kos etc. I could go on lmao, just because someone has a lot of time in a game doesn’t mean they’re any good
Skill issue
you only get really good if you practice a boss multiple times, and then you only get good at them, and ver similar bosses.
like im getting good at godskins without sleep (and maliketh) (cause i enjoy farum azula) but i still suck at malenia and fire giant.
i just help alot of people in farum and constantly watch hosts die to maliketh(i basically carry for clergyman, and then unwillingly peace out on maliketh cause of damned DD, usually not without at least attempting to shove a status on him, but usually the hosts end up unwillingly peacing out too
Dark souls will forever be a humbling experience
I can't beat the final boss, Gravity.
Nobody gets better at the games, but instead their patience grows
If you are good or not, is up to the whims of the great dark soul. One moment, you could be nearly untouchable. And the next, a rat kills you.

when you're good at a souls like, wait to die in the dumbest way possible
I’m so good at this game. I try to escape attacks using rolling instead of rolling into attacks in time
I've been playing for eight years and I still manage to get beat up by a lot of bosses, which just makes the game more fun.
Get better -> Win -> Become overconfident -> Get rekt
Conclusion: Don't even try, you'll get rekt anyway xD
the greatest duo boss in the world
I think we can all agree though. The camera and kicking are the hardest bosses.
me: finally becoming good
Artorias: H e l o
Artorias is my favorite boss
In my experience I get good at the boss fights and the mechanics of the game but there are certain enemies/groups of enemies that I just can’t handle lol.
Me who has 10k hours in ds3:
He got the "Ormstein Fell First" treatment.
Smough and Orenstine looks like they are just getting back from lunch break.
It's not about being good.
It's about knowing what you're doing.
The AI can ALWAYS do something that surprises you.
Oreinstein and smough are the bosses that truly test your skill as the player to see if your ready for what's ahead of you
My go to line when describing Dark Souls is "It hurts so bad, but it feels so good!"
I’ve died to gravity more times than any enemy in dark souls
The stupid pink zombies with the torches killed me several more times than O&S ever did
Ornstein walking up with the exaggerated swagger of a dragonslayer
Ds3 after your first play through becomes immensely trivial. Ds1 tho. That games gona rail you the entire time
What's more annoying is that the one killed me the most is not from the boss but from the random NPC
lol that voice is perfect for the chosen undead
The fact that this is true hurts
Its always great to know that anytime you are near an edge something that you cannot see at first will push you off
there was a sketch in a german tv show where someone showed off his character in dark souls, super high leveled, heavy armor, weapon dealing lots of damage, it was made like an ad or something for a car, and when he was done there came an enemy from behind and one shotted him.
That's me with SOTE right now bro 😂
I can say I’m pretty good at it, I got to soul of cinder SL1 and currently not planning on stopping
My favorite part about souls difficulty is that different bosses trip up players. Your homie might first kill a boss you thought was a nightmare while he is stuck on a boss you hadn’t even considered was challenging. Depends on build/play style/and current state of mind 😂
The level of truth is… impeccable
Pfft the angry birds movie reference has me wanting to play the games again ahhh the good old times
I’ve started playing DS remastered this summer and so far had to cheese Orstein and Smough and like 2 bosses after them 😭
(I didn’t invest enough in strength)
Still fun tho, and it’s enjoyable when I become defeated, even If I get angry sometimes. I just gotta keep pushing on
Facts. Dark Souls has so many moments where the game says Fuck You and You Died
I remember when I told myself I would never do a sl1 run and I still haven't. But during a rp I only did what people would explain to me summoning? yep unhollowing? yessir items? only if i bought one first and used one immediately(for testing as the merchant explained it) leveling?...only the meta message which I didn't count.
Gwyn got the most with 20+ deaths the rest was... manageable. now I don't want to jinx it but I don't see myself doing a broken weapon playthrough...but maybe if I upgrade it and get artorias soul to enhance it...for lore reasons.
