Ever thought bout soybean stubble for bedding? Seen a few guys use it, just terribly dusty. Glad to hear stuff is wrapping up.

Good video
If you’re not dead set on jd green net. There are dealers out the with either tama or bridon integra are really good especially with the number of wraps you put on. Buy by the pallet $200-300 a roll.
Hope you post some videos soon
Have you ever thought about using a TMR or tub grinder to make feed from the fodder, hay and corn?
The 79 is a great tractor👍 it's nice that you got some good quality fodder made👍

Nice video
thank you
Watching this at double speed; seems like that baler is constantly filling up quick.
Didn't realize that net wrap was so expensive. How much is the white wrap?
Thanks for the video and conversation, keep pushing on harvest and keep feed in front of the cows, videos should be way down on the "to do" list.
Does anyone make solid plastic wrap for a hay round baler, similar to what a cotton picker uses ,for bales to be stored outside?
yes, deere B wrap. Very unpopular, not cost effective and very finicky
Yes but it needs the baler to be setup with tensioners to apply it. Also it's not great for dry hay, it can cause condensation between the inside of the plastic and the hay and it doesn't allow the bales to sweat out which causes rot and mold. It's really aimed at baled silage that will be tube or individually wrapped where it replaces some of the outside plastic wrap so it is cost effective that way.
@ghammond3132... Oh for sure wrapping can work for dry hay. My comment was not on wrapping per se but using the plastic on newer balers in place of net wrap on the barrel of the bale. I am sure people do it but we have not had great success with it, that said a lot of it comes down to how dry the crop is being baled. If hay is well fit it gives less trouble but anything baled that you would normally leave out for a few days for the bales to sweat out tends to give problems as the plastic film just doesn't allow it to air out as it usually would. As I said there is also the cost, it can replace some of your outer wrap layers in tube wrapper or baled silage in general so isn't as big an issue but where we are it's quite a bit more expensive than net so for dry hay especially if it's to be stored inside it is very hard to justify. Ofc though whatever works for you is the best system :)
Never seen the back end of a round bailer. Made me think 🤔 what in tarnation?
Why you don’t turn off the the straw spreader and drop it in line not to rake
Is the train traffic up because of the low river water levels downstream?
The train traffic shouldn't have anything to do with that as the train also brings gas and diesel and probably home heating oil to the area the elevator is located so it's more about the timing
They only other baler with the 3 bars is vermeer that i know off
Thanks Travis!
