I entered a fugue state near the end there after Teft retired to run group therapy sessions with Phendorana until he dies of natural causes but it might be worth a mention that the reason Venli finds a radiant spren (Timbre) by her sister's body is because Eshonai managed to swear the first oath before she died and the spren was hers initially (although it presumably wasn't strong enough of a bond to make the spren go catatonic like what happened with Syl). Oh and the reason Moash is blind in a way that stormlight can't fix is because swearing a bondsmith oath while full of Stormlight is apparently really bright so Dalinar has the potential to flashbang everyone around him in future. (Navani's words where she weaponised the oath were personally very satisfying though.) Also the story ends off with Szeth going for his fourth ideal by going back to Shinovar and dealing with the leaders who covered up the return of the "voidbringers" (technically the voidbringers are the humans who haven't left but the void spren did return so I'm counting it.) Because Ishar said he was going to be there to talk about important things and Ishar is more unstable than a steel pusher with two anchors, Dalinar sent his newly qualified mental health therapist to go talk to him and help out which is why Szeth and Kaladin are going to Shinovar in the next book. Wider cosmere lore but apparently the chickens give you extra powers which is why Mraize has one (although what they do varies). The guy who he killed with the red chicken had metalminds and was therefore a feruchemist from Scadrial. Also Wit is pen pals with a bunch of the other shards like Odium. Ambition tells him they have a restraining order against him but Harmony is willing to help out where possible. Considering those were the only things which might be of significance which I didn't hear mentioned in that beast of a video I have to say well done and an excellent summary! Danial said he is summarizing chapter by chapter. Given that there are "over 100" chapters, hes actually done a prettt good job here. Im honestly impressed that this isnt even longer. The audiobook is almost 60 hours long; if we say he was summarizing exactly 💯 chapters for the sake of convenience that is only 1.2 minutes PER CHAPTER! Honestly, this is quote impressive. And, its just generally great, Daniel. Good job! 👍❤🎉

I loved Lyft healing Teft. Like, they're all crowding around Kaladin and all of a sudden Teft starts talking, and Lyft is just "I assumed you wanting me to wake him, too. You did, right?"
Awesome summary, that's how summaries should be done. Also an explanation the most key points at the end would be great. The Wind and Truth hype is real!
I love this chapter by chapter format!!! I am reading through this book for the first time and I like getting a summary up to where I'm at so far, and not get spoiled. Also I super duper appreciate how you are giving definitions as you go

Thank you for this i love the series and its been a while since I've read them but i really haven't felt like re reading the massive books, this is great and exactly what i needed before book 5 comes out
Masterful summary! Great use of humor to lighten up a huge undertaking. Thanks for the summary. I just finished my RoW reread, but I needed to remember some details, and this video was very useful.
We did the math. This video probably took Daniel 12ish hours. And if you divide 12 by $1.99, that means we are giving back at a rate of $0.166 cents per hour. (Slightly more than what we pay our greedy bastard of an editor). You’re so welcome 😮💨

This book definitely took the most effort in reading within the stormlight archive. Admittedly the pacing was not always great, many characters were literally abandoned and a lot of science talk was. What saved this book for me however was Navani and ofc the ending. Navanis storyline coupled with the Fused was unique and interesting enough to help me get through intricate description of new fabrial designs. In the end Navani had become one of my top 3 favorite characters of the series.
Thanks Daniel! I'm running out of days to relisten to the audio books. The dulcet tones of the Goblin King are much preferred to reading a summary online!
this is an extremely useful, fun, and high-effort video, but every single time he says "robe-in--el" for raboniel i go a little insane. "rah-BO-nee-el"!!! just sound it out !!! (this is intended to be a lighthearted, good humored fun-poking, i loved the video)

"A Brief Rhythm of War Summary" - Length 2:37:58 . Yeah, seems accurate
Quite reasonable
since the audiobook is almost 60 hrs long, it counts as a brief summary
Danny G means "Brief" the way J Swift meant "Modest".
Considering Rhythm of War is just three books in a trenchcoat, yes, this is a brief summary.
Every stormlight book so far is just three books in a trenchcoat.
Way of Kings is 3 books in a trenchcoat. Rhythm of War is 4.
yet still he manages to put in less content than others in half a book..
