Just because I feel the need to encourage young people to actually LEARN Black American history is why I have to write this comment. James Brown is the person who gave us the song and direction to call ourselves, "Black." When I was born in 1959, my people were called Negroes and Coloreds. James Brown released a song called , "Say It Loud, I'm Black and I'm Proud." I advise you to find it and listen careful to that major piece of history. ALSO, it was James Brown who performed in Detroit the night Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated in Memphis. If he had not performed, that city would have been burnt to the ground as many other cities were burnt. For us Black people, the pain of King's murder was too much to contain. Young man, learn who Black Americans are and what we have endured PRIOR to making music reaction videos about our people and their talents. I am 65 years old now. Sadly few young Black people know anything about their own peoples' history.

Oh honey I LOVE watching your reaction to the late great James Brown. As a 70 year old Southern country gal. THIS is what really got me into listening to other kinds of music.❤❤❤❤ Up until then all I had listened to was some gospel. HE WAS THE GODFATHER of SOUL , and was also known as THE HARDEST WORKING MAN IN SHOWBIZ. He gave the same amount of extreme energy from the beginning of his show to the end of it. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🥰🥰🥰🥰 He also had extreme dance moves that were just so - so energetic also. DAAAAMN !!!!!💥💥💥💥💥 Honey you ain't seen nothing yet. But it was thanks to this man that I got into jazz , the blues , Rock , and rhythm and blues. That's when I started going back and listening to some of the old old music that started even back in the thirties and forties. When I heard that he had sing a duet with the opera singer Lucia Pavarotti s*** when I listen to that it just blew my mind out of the entire universe. WOW , OH hell yeah !!!!💥💥💥💥🔥🔥🔥🔥 By the way the dance moves he did has been imitated buy many , many , other singers like Michael Jackson the name just one out of many. But hell no they still can't dance as good as James Brown could. WOW !!!! You damn sure want to go ahead and check out all of James Brown's music, I guarantee honey it will blow your mind. Once again thanks to your reaction that you had that just goes to show there's still a lot of people that can still appreciate James Brown, past , present , and in the future. There will NEVER , EVER , be another person that can come close to, THE GODFATHER OF SOUL. ❤❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏 , may God Bless you, son and sending much love to you and yours stay safe and healthy.

"It's a Man's Man's Man's World" is a song written by James Brown and Betty Jean Newsome. Brown recorded it on February 16, 1966, in a New York City studio and released it as a single later that year. It reached No. 1 on the Billboard R&B chart and No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100.[2][3] Its title is a word play on the 1963 comedy film It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

A Man's World is all James Brown! He's the original. Many have covered it, though.

The GODFATHER OF SOUL. He has been sampled by more hip hop artists than any other singer. He is legend. He created FUNK. Think on that for a second! ❤😊
He inspired every soul artist ever.
