    th is is super helpful, I just created it and it is wonderful! i added about 1 cup cornstarch and 1 1/2 cups of glue, and 2 spoons of vinegar

      @@sheetaldadiakoradia8640 not the same. Cornstarch is the starch of corn(very fine and white). Cornmeal most of them little bit grainy and yellowish. The only thing that works for this is cornstarch...

      Polymer clay - oven baked clay

    I was really skeptic at first, but this recipe really does work. I did not use vinegar which might be the reason the clay dried up relatively fast but overall it worked well

      You need to use either vinegar or lemon juice to keep it from molding and bugs.

    To prove to all of the haters that this is good clay:
    I went to an orchid show. A professional sculpter was there, she made these BEAUTIFUL tiny orchids, and for a second I thought that they were real. She told that she made the clay herself and that recipe in the video is what she used.

    this is the best polymer clay diy i have seen. can i add colour to the mixture or do i have to paint it when dry?

      Lee Tau it is NOT polymer clay. Polymer clay is based around polymers funnily enough, which are plastics. This is not plastic, and is air dried.

    This is great I have many projects that I can use this in.
    But I need a clay that is much more firm, for sculpting. The clay here is much to soft and would not hold form but would instead resist form. I wish there was a way to make form clay for sculpting.

      KayCity Rose you can just use 4 tablespoons of flour, 2 tablespoons of white glue, 1 tablespoons of cornstarch, and a few drops of baby oil. I use this recipe for my anime figurine and it works great! For more details please check out Clayitnow for more informations hope this help! : )

    This isn't polymer clay. This is cold procelian. 1 cup of glue 1 cub of cornstarch 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of baby oil. You have to heat it up on the stove or microwave in 15 second intervals. It's a air dry clay. Just google cold procelian and you will find all the info there.

    It looks like the ingredient amounts were just judging to get the right consistency - not too dry or runny. I'll try that. The object you made appeared smooth and very hard. Did you have to bake it to harden or just let it air dry. Thanks for the video.

      You can't. Vinegar has this ingredients that help the cornstarch/glue harden. So, yeah.

      To add color, use paint. Either knead the paint into the clay, or add paint while mixing.
      It is air dry clay. It will take from about 1-3 days.

      If you do not have it use lemon juice and I think it is important to make your clay last longer
