when the spider started talking. the dialogue was so rubbish i had to stop. i tried to like what i was seeing but cause i was very high i couldn’t deny the reality that it was actually trash. it kinda reminded me of the foundation series but in that show i pretty much skipped all scenes with Lou Llobell and Leah Harvey
yeah i ended up cutting it but i was going to spend a little time talking about how that whole spider scene felt like it was from a different movie. there's a whole film waiting to happen about samurai vs spiders with a heavy handed political commentary on "who is the real villain?" but instead it's just a single scene that demands you care about it even though it doesn't impact the rest of the film the scene is actually in.
Hell yeah Chad video, it was great man! I understand why it’s a crappy movie without even needing to watch lmao. I honestly wouldn’t even mind if it ripped off a bunch of things as long as it was done well and things were sewn together to make a story that has a good flow but it being payoff and no setup MULTIPLE TIMES for all these characters just sounds exhausting. I swear this guy isn’t this bad in the other thing I know him from guy is the second Daario from GOT And just a heads up the payoff in your graphic is missing the second f!

I think we ALL know the Reason Why The Snyder Cut of Rebel Moon will Fail. Because if the Movie Fails to be a Stand-Alone Film in the First Place, and was just Going to Be Edited Anyway…why Even release this Incomplete Mess in the First Place?! Even The first Star Wars Movie Felt like a Complete Film! Like you didn’t even need to Watch anymore after the Death Star gets blown up! But that’s what made it so Good, because you didn’t know where things would go from there! So once Empire comes out, and you see the Enemy Just Recking the Rebel’s Shit, you knew shit got real! But this Movie Doesn’t Have Any of that…
Simply put, it was visually spectacular, but had a script that looked like it was written by a 5 year old. Garbage. I'm a huge sci-fi buff and this was hugely disappointing.
Star Wars ripoff? Sure. Warhammer 40k ripoff? Absolutely. Dune ripoff? Yarp. Sofia Boutella is good in a "main goon for a big bad" kind of way. I agree, I just don't think her performances are great otherwise she would have blown up already.
yeah i wanted to bring up dune and 40k but its so much of the set design i couldnt think of what to point to aside from "everything" and right, Sophia is similar to Gal Gadot. no one really complained about their acting until they started doing lead roles.
