    Last year, I needed to buy a new laptop, and thanks to your videos I decided on a Lenovo yoga model, but the availability is so hit and miss where I live, I could not get my hands on the model I wanted... Decided to go with a MBA with M1, which I'm very happy with... But it's a pity PC manufacturers loose customers due to availability...

    If you live in Germany be aware that the Lenovo online shop by default sends you the wrong power supply with the wrong three pin connector. The Lenovo customer support can not correct this and will tell you that it was your fault and then you have to cancel the whole order and to place a new one! Also the trackpad is always ratterling whenever you touch it, a common issue with so many laptops today. Lenovo claims this laptop to run up to 14 hours on battery.

    I was planning to buy Yoga Slim 7 Pro today, but I will wait a bit more for Carbon Edition after this video :). The screen, battery life and speakers are the key factors for the laptop I am going to have, therefore I was struggling to choose between XPS 13 9310, Macbook Air M1 and Yoga Slim 7 Pro. XPS is expensive (totally worth it though), M1 chipset is not supporting all the applications that I am actively using and I was hesitating about the speakers of 7 Pro. But Carbon Edition seems to have most important stuff for me. Love the detailed reviews in your videos, man. Thanks!

      I’m still deciding between these two. The slim carbon wins in most except price, ports and the doginess of the oled screen. Costco has a sale on the yoga slim pro and good returning period meaning I can probably wait and return it just in time when alder lake and 6th gen amd laptops are coming out.

    This looks incredible for the price. I have the most faith in Lenovo tbh along with Apple (now) for quality of hardware.
    Just battery life and touch quality and LTE (seems missing) would be the missing pieces of the puzzle for that price.
    Stunning review and attention to detail AS ALWAYS!

    With these past few years of being at home a lot more it's nice to see quad speakers and a great display for watching video. To me even though the webcam was 720p I thought it looked and sounded good.

  • @gezimislamaj5309
    @gezimislamaj5309 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    That display is really gorgeous, 16:10 aspect ratio, very good colour gamut, 90hz, 400nits not that bad. +The performance for such a small factor thin and light laptop is very good. Only downside is upgradability(even such small laptops can never be upgraded), I personally am not a fan of Lenovo keyboard, +the webcan is really horrible to be honest(it's only good for cheating on online exams). Waiting for the full review. Keep it up Andrew

    This seems to be perfect for my needs but I have one reservation. I'm visually impaired and I'm concerned about the backlit silver t keys. I need contrast. Is there any chance you could devote some future content to this issue, perhaps including some footage in low light? Or share your thoughts on this matter. I love your reviews and you are one of my two favorite reviewers. Especially like the videos used to demonstrate the screen qualities. Thank you.

    Looks like a really nice Laptop. I’m currently comparing the Yoga Slim 7 Pro and Yoga Slim 7 Carbon. The main difference is that the pro has 5800H CPU, while the Carbon has the 5800U. I want to estimate how much performance the Carbon gives up in comparison to the 5800H inside the pro.
    Does anyone know what the sustained power draw of the 5800U inside the carbon is?

    Nice PC. The webcam was slightly better than the other 720p webcams but that is not saying much. I agree a 1080p webcam would have been better. Microphones sounded good and clear (not muffled sound). Excellent display. The dongle supplied should have included an SD card slot and also another USB-C port. This way one does not lose a USB-C port when using this. Remember this PC only has two functional USB-C ports when it is plugged in to external power. Excellent review.

    Also does this laptop have a clattering touchpad like most Lenovo Yoga/Ideapad laptops? My Yoga Slim 7 Pro and Idea 5 Pro both have a clattering touchpad, as do the ones I've tested at various stores. Thanks for your review, finally we could see the part more closely. It would be great if you could go into more detail about the touchpad clicking sounds in your reviews. How loud it sounds when you click and if it rattles when you tap. Thank you and keep it up.
