HUNTR is the project we should have started years ago. It's our excuse to work less and hunt more. We're not the world's greatest hunters by any means but we're not afraid to get aggressive and learn from our mistakes. From northeastern whitetails to western muleys, we're dreaming up hunts, putting in for tags, finding ground, and doing everything in our power to get it done.
Podcasts drop Tuesday nights, season 1 drops fall 2021, & there's merch in the store if you dig our stuff!
We want to hear from you! Whether you've got a story to share, a question for the guys, or want to tell us what we're doing wrong, it's all good. Drop us a line and we'll do our best to get back to you

So you're saying once you're beans turn into a grain crop the deer leave? Mine just switch over to the grain the soybeans provide

Who is a good consultant for the Southeast? Someone that hunts and specializes more in the pine forests. Also, if you could have more hunters from the Southeast on the show.

Great podcast with Jeff guys! This plot start definitely peaks my interest with some foodplots across a river

Very mobile and has been a game changer to get plots up out of the ground, and ahead of deer pressure.

Great knowledge in this podcast, a lot to take away from it. I have a question though, so I started plots on our land recently and I went with 2 clover plots I planted a week or 2 ago and a winter greens plot I'll plant in July/August. I understand Plot Start is only a lime alternative for one growing season and needs reapplied every year. When it comes to my annual winter greens plot I know it will die off at the end of the year and I can replant next year using plot start and repeat the process. What do you do for perennials though? Since you will have an established Clover that will keep for say 3-5yrs how do you maintain the PH in the soil using Deer Gro? Can you spray Plot Start on an existing Clover plot every year in the spring to help maintain that ideal PH each growing season? Or do I need to be spreading pelletized/AG lime to maintain that for the rest of that plots life?

Nevermind, I found on the FAQ on Deer Gro site that you can use Plot Start on actively growing plots. Sorry

Been using jeffs method for 4 yrs now on Ga clay-works great! No need for a tractor and very efficient. IMO hes the best deer chess player out there, thinks outside the box. I like those kinda guys rather than repeating the same old basic elementary stuff. Hes correct-buckwheat is hard to find now. Keep the podcasts going!
