Hey Jeff I watch a lot of your videos I like the information you give I would like to see a video on your seat blends know what's in them stuff like that or possibly maybe put the ingredients on the web page for your website and would like to see more videos of designing small parcels 20 acres or less I'm designing and implementing five acres myself but I'm doing it on a very small budget so I can't get the full experience with with it with switch grass and stuff like that I'm having to use cheaper products to do screening and bedding and stuff like that

I’m from Louisiana been watching u for 2 years now I like they way u break down ur ideas iv learn a lot from u i do have land 280 acres but mostly fields 40 acres of pecans trees we do have some good deer the biggest I killd witch was luck a 160 inches 10 point but if u want to down I’ll be more than happy to show u my place

If there is a home on one end of a 40 acre property would you place food closer to the home to maintain depth of cover?
if i have a 40 acre parcel and the food is on one side, and a road is on the other, how much of that depth is taken away from bucks by the road. Assuming they won't want to bed right by the road.
Hi Jeff, One question i have is that we have lots of standing hardwoods behind thick grasses and shrubs which is behind our food plot, So there seems to be enough cover for does but not what i would consider good cover for bucks. What can i do in that open hard wood to create good buck cover? Hinge cut trees or drop trees or something else. How thick should it be?

Would love to have you down on my dad’s 30 acre triangular property in Mississippi. It is a tough spot. In the hills about 5 miles from delta. He has limited area for plots. Really only 3 level areas. His whole property is in need to cutting “correctly” as all mature hardwoods. The big hills surrounding in every direction are 2-10 year old select cut or cutover. Has ZERO bedding on him and poor daylight activity. Has very mature deer coming in but not for hours after dark..Poor access. It has been a challenge. Hoping to pick up more adjacent land and cut his to provide cover and browse. Don’t want to mess it up for sure doing the wrong way but man, not gonna get much worse…. May need to let the far back plot grow up too because sooo poor access and too much temptation to hunt it and that intrusion has to be impacting. I like the idea of clearing a grown up area up near house for food and using depth of cover back into the parcel.. must improve access too. 😅
I have does bedding down in front of my blind smh but only did that for 2 nights
I own properties, & lease others, purchased my first 37 years ago and still own it. It will take a decade of trying plus some luck to get your property where it needs to be, without the help of an expert. The time I would have saved if you guys have been around for me back then, plus all the damage I did hinge cutting too high etc... wasted effort, getting it 90% correct but then going in the wrong way, hunting low value days etc... Hiring you would actually have been the cheapest thing I could have done.

Haha! Check out deer hunting in South Louisiana, marsh hunting is a whole other world. No food plots, no habitat improvement, you basically set up stands to hunt the ridges and spoil banks and pray you don’t have to retrieve one out of the marsh, but you will. Everything you know is out of the window once you’re south of ICWW. Say hello to mud boats and hip boots, lol!

Jeff on an established switchgrass stand, do you need to mow each year in early spring before is comes out of dormancy or just leave it and mow for the first time in June, if needed to control weeds?
Slightly off topic question. I but up a mock scrape and licking branch according to your instructions and it worked amazingly! It's on public land in a mountainous area. I didn't get to hunt it this year because of starting a new job. But camera had beeen there since June and there was action on it during the day allllll season. My question is how long do you leave in mock scrapes? I planned on leaving it and seeing how it develops in 2022.

You guys ever do any work in Arkansas? More specifically, NW Arkansas?
I'm here in western Montana. No corn or soybean fields within hundreds of miles. About 13" annual precipitation with almost zero rain in July and August so food plots not possible. Most species of trees and shrubs mentioned in videos do not even live here. Bur oak is the only oak native to Montana and that is only southeast Montana. So need to try to interpolate from the videos to try to figure out what fits my situation.

I had a fair 150 acre parcel and two years ago had some people move in next door that raise German Shepards move in next to it that let them loose twice a day and went from steady pictures of 130 inch deer to getting 3 pictures of bucks over 80 inches this past season.

I try to get the people I hunt with to follow the things that you are saying in every video but no one will listen to me on our 20 acre property. Every year we never shoot nice bucks only seeing spikes and very small buck. Even with this my family won’t change their ways of how to hunt the property. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Jeff, I tried your method of spraying 3 times to plant switchgrass. I planted in June and wound up with giant foxtail. What should I do?
Hi Tony! Definitely want to frost seed and get that switch up a lot sooner. Also mow in July and August if needed. I would mow in roughly 4vwerks after Spring Green up. Also hit with Simazine prior to spring green up.

It depends on where in PA...and the size of parcel. I work out-of New Philly OH at times. $2450 to $2950 if within 2 hours of my hotel during that trip. Other than that...I don't really get to the rest of PA.

Make it a jungle and they will come. Pine needle or hardwood deserts dont work. Blackberry briars, honeysuckle, and privet hedge are wonderful.
Saying doing tsi is a waste if you don't have a quality food plot is horrible advice. Remember this guy has a seed company. I believe i read 70 percent of a deers diet is woody browse. I have watched deer browse in the woods on young new growth after a timber harvest with 300 acres of quality ag 75 yards away and never go to the ag. Food plots make us feel good, and can help us kill deer no doubt. But remember this dude sells seed for part of his living. There's a reason every video he has is about food plots. If he sold chainsaws he would be promoting tsi
