It’s sad to see a young woman who thinks it’s ok to have those horrible words written on her because it turned him on. Graphic violence in pornography is normalizing abuse and it’s a truly tragic

I think she needs to clarify just a little bit on something I don’t think anyone else noticed yet. She said that she thought he had something to do with it from the get-go and she hugged him before confronting him and asked him if he had anything he wanted to tell her. (See video⬆️). The problem is that he was arrested for a parole violation on June 6, 2023, and then police searched her apartment. He wasn’t named as a person of interest in the case until July 17, 2023, publicly, and obviously he was in jail from his arrest June 6, 2023 to then, actually he was transported to the Snake River Correctional Facility, one of Oregon’s prisons between those dates. So how is it she confronted him and hugged him “outside here” (I’m assuming that meant their apartment). And worse, why would she make up such a story that is easily fact checked? I’ve been following the case extensively and the more I see about her, read her statements, watch her in interviews, the more things get really questionable at least on her end. It just doesn’t make sense that she seems to be playing both sides of the fence a little bit. And sometimes she seems to act like a somewhat timid victim and sometimes she’s full force confident throwing him way too far under the bus, in my opinion, almost putting too much information out there. Idk, it all just seems really suspicious to me and she’s definitely not doing herself any favors and definitely not the accused any favors either way you look at it. I’m not exactly sure who would really be dumb enough to comment to the media on something of this proportion when it’s a complicated case that’s still under police investigation. In fact, like 5 different jurisdictions law enforcement Investigations. And thanks to her and her need for her 5 seconds of fame or whatever her real underlying motive is for giving these interviews, that Jesse Calhoun has already been deemed guilty and condemned by the public way before the public even knows or has any information of concrete evidence to absolutely 100% prove his guilt. There has been absolutely no evidence either reported to the public from investigators or even leaked. All there is is speculation based on the accused having relations with 2 of the women, and even that came from this girlfriend. And I actually the more she talks, especially about things like the sex life between the 2 of them (which should have stayed between the 2 of them) the more I have to question her motives about why she is being overly generous with their personal and private information. I have personally believed for months now after doing my own extensive research and talking to a lot of people, both homeless individuals on the street and even law enforcement, that Jesse Calhoun is not a murderer. I honestly don’t feel that the cases are necessarily even connected. And death under “suspicious circumstances” doesn’t prove murder or that someone should even be charged with murder. Law enforcement investigators are going to have to come up with something way better than that , at least in my eyes, to prove that someone committed the act of murder. And then there’s Jesse Calhoun’s criminal history. So what. It’s not fair to assume that someone is actually a murderer based on their past crimes or their lack of respect for law enforcement authority. I feel that the city of Portland has an even bigger problem going on than what one man is capable of and that not enough is being done to investigate other leads, other people or even other groups of people.

I think that most of these comments are very rude and way too judgmental on this woman. Sure, she definitely should have kept quiet as this is an ongoing investigation, for one thing, but for another, your sex life should be kept private and it’s not for anyone to air their ex’s dirty laundry for the world to hear. I’m not sure why anyone would do that, although, I’m assuming that she is a little upset about her ex, Jesse Calhoun, cheating on her with 2 of the women who were trading sex for drugs. And although she seems a little nervous she either talked way too much because of being nervous and of course being honest with the police or she knew EXACTLY what she was doing by telling the things that she shouldn’t or taking about their sex life, or the other things she let slip. I’m not sure what to make of it, but the last thing on my mind is condemning her for any of her actions in her relationship with Jesse Calhoun. However, I for one, live in Portland, and the more I look into this case and the more I talk with members of the homeless and/or drug addicted community here, the more I believe that Jesse Calhoun was a targeted and easy scapegoat for the police. I don’t feel he’s guilty of murdering any of those women. For one thing, so far they can only conclude that one only one, was actually a homicide because she died of “blunt force trauma to the head and neck”. That is the case of Joanna Speaks, who both the investigators and her own family don’t know and have no information that she had any ties to Jesse Calhoun. The other deaths are currently classified as being “under suspicious circumstances”. Now, body moved or not, that doesn’t necessarily mean or imply that they were murdered. Also, where the bodies were found especially one in a culvert in the Gorge, I’m wondering how one person places a body there or even the other semi-remote and even shrub overgrown locations where the other 2 were found AND NOT BE SEEN BY ANY ONE. It just doesn’t make sense and neither does the other fact that homeless and drug addicted young people, mostly women are disappearing every day and even still being found and that information is not being released to the public because officials cant until a body is identified and/or the relatives are notified. But we're talking about a certain vulnerable population that its normal for families to not here from their homeless or drug addicted loved ones for months at a time so they dont have any idea. The women found dead in this story were all reported missing and then unfortunately, their bodies were found, so it's front page news now for almost a year. And so then the police have no real choice but to hurry and find someone to blame so the public can relax again and supposedly feel safe again and Mr. Calhoun, as knowing and having a relationship with 2 of the women, along with having a prior criminal record and a lack of respect for law enforcement's authority, was the perfect person for both law enforcement to mold and the media to slander and condemn, which would definitely take the attention off the more important facts of the cases (or lack of, actually), preventing people from asking the more appropriate questions and also to blind the oublic about a much bigger, much more serious and dangerous problem we have here, the kidnapping, of young people mostly women, human trafficking, drugs, prostitution, violence against women, of and a slew of other crimes AS WELL AS more bodies being found WITH Jesse Calhoun in jail , hes been indicted, he was indicted only about 10 days before he was scheduled to be released. The latest young woman's body being found under suspicious circumstances on 06-16-2024. So now theres even way more questions and possibilities than already incarcarated suspects. So what will happen next, who knows but i for one, dont feel any safer in this city and infact, feel very let down and disappointed in the way these 'murder' cases have been handled because it should be about seeking true justice for these women , if the rest of them were actually truly murdered. AND about keeping more people safe and alive

@@slconley yes uptight and rigid ... Often times the more rigid thinkers will polarize and tend to create what they hate, so they polarize with anything different from themselves and that's why there's this huge drug population in Oregon... But of course these people can't stay in the places that created them, they have to go to places that are more accepting.
