The most dangerously handsome man to ever walk this earth
That man had many many highs in his career but in 68 he looked like nothing else on earth and sounded even better, that voice was dynamite. At 11.25 when the video shows him back in leather and he is bending down and raising his arm is jaw dropping. No one around today can hold a candle to Elvis' talent, they never will.
This is one of best nights of entertainment .thank you. Elvis at his best. His talent shines...

I had the pleasure of talking to Edie Hand who' would visit Graceland with her grandmother who was Minnie Mae's sister. She was very honest unlike relatives who swear Elvis carried them around in his back pocket. She acknowledged that Elvis most often was out of town when members of the family gathered at Graceland or didn't come downstairs but she did meet him when she was teenager. I asked her if he was as great looking as people say and she said, "Oh, yeah. The movies and the photos of him didn't begin to do him justice" and at the one meal she was there for when Elvis was actually home Minnie Mae said to him, " Elvis you're so pretty, you should have been born a girl." Everyone laughed because Elvis turned beet red.

Unbelievable this gets better with age. Working in the movies taught him about camera angles and his stage presence was incredible

The Beatles did videos back in 1965-66 because they couldn’t do normal TV appearances anymore so they sent out films for songs like Rain & Lady Madonna to American Bandstand and the Ed Sullivan Show. And A Hard Days Night was basically an extended music video
But to be fair, Elvis definitely elevated the idea with his ‘68 special. The choreography and Unplugged segments alone set it apart

I’m 74 and life long fan! Elvis STILL makes my heart beat and flutter with a passion. There isn’t anything he couldn’t sing. Consummate performer. Always fantastic to watch. Not enough superlatives to describe him! Amazing, majestic, wonderful, his musicality is perfect 👌! So many layers and styles and they become his own as he’s far ranging. Great humour too. That laugh and giggle is so playful. What a darling. Born with it all running in has veins plus, he’s the most beautiful (if I can say that) handsome man ever. Adonis in flesh! That smile takes away your knees. We’re so fortunate to have his legacy and to be able to see him anytime. Thank technology and thank you Elvis Presley. So happy I was around.
