Most VFX companies are in los angeles and it's not cheap or easy to move. So when they expand they just cram more people in until they burst at the seams.
It seems like one of the saddest places to work ever, they seem closed in a windowless basement, where people live in half a square meter. The boss must have visited those offices only one more time in his life. Considering the laundry service, it must be a place where they always make you work longer hours than expected. I will send my resume immediately, I love these cramped basements without light, they remind me when I used to work in a sulfur mine. Ah ... the old days ... But ... if they use blender then, they can draw a window and get some sun there too ...

Fun to see an actual studio and people in the middle of production work using Blender. This video seems a bit short, however. Will there be another more lengthy video where you interview in more detail? I'm hoping so as they seem to be sitting down at the end to do just that.
It looks like a nice company but the offices are kinda killing it for me... I think you shouldn't have more than 4 people in one office of that size and there should be windows they can open in it
I guess they're in Australia or New Zealand. Here in France there are regulations on minimal surfaces per employee in offices. It's like 6 sqm/ pax in open spaces I believe and 11 sqm for a two desk office.
