Let's go Stray Kids! Their M/Vs are absolutely insane. Some of the best transitions and most of it filmed with real sets and pyrotechnics. They produce their own music and really just create the most unique songs. Definitely recommend checking out more of their stuff.

They've got 100s of songs - because three of the members work together as the primary producers (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han - known together as 3RACHA) and two of the members are Australian (Bang Chan and Felix), they seemlessly use English and Korean in their lyrics (if you turn on the closed captions, most of their songs have english captions available to check out what they're saying). The fans are called Stays so you'll see that name pop up a lot. Welcome!
Great list of suggestions and nice you added to turn on the captions for the Korean MVs. Just add that the Japanese MVs do not use captions but lyric videos are available if you just need to see them... this is great for non and babyStay mini intro.
KPOP IS ADDICTIVE! Here's a few reasons why:
1. Language barrier be damned, just sit back, get comfy & enjoy the show.
2. bc Stray Kids ( no brainer)
3. You can just vibe /it, but subtitles are usually available if you wanna know what they're saying
4. Kpop MVs are the best, they dont skimp on production value. They're usually entertaining regardless if they make sense or if you like the track.
5. Killer choreo! Don't cheat yourself, check out dance practices, performances vidieos, and/or live stages.
6. If you feel so inspired, you're not alone, learning the choreo, or at least the killing points is a whole thing in kpop and can be part of the fun.
Stray kids (abbreviated SKZ) debuted in March of 2018, but they blew up among the kpop community in the 2nd half of 2020 with their songs God's menu and Back door, now they're gaining more fans after selling 5 million copies of their album 5 STAR this year and it was their 3rd album to go #1 on U.S Billboard 200 chart

Stray Kids are a self-producing group consisting of 8 members. The leader bangchan hand-picked each member, which is very rare in kpop. They're known for their experimental hype beats but have a wide range of genre's in their discography, I highly recommend God's Menu, Venom, Freeze, Easy, and Maniac. If you're familiar with the "Tower of God" anime, they did the intro song (TOP) and ending song (SLUMP) for it.
They also recently collabed with LiSA; the song & MV is "Social Path" (she sang the Demon Slayer opening "Gurenge")

Yes Stray Kids!! You will never go wrong with them. They have a diverse discography with rap heavy, edm, ballads and mixture of genres in one song. I suggest you watch Thunderous, Venom and Maniac next. They are amazing group who write about 99% of their music and about 1% with other producers. They pretty much can do everything every member can sing,rap and dance so well. I look forward to more Stray kids reactions in the future.

You are a delight! Lol just wait, you have seen NOTHING yet. Stray Kids are the current KINGS of K-pop. Oh, by the way... Subtitles, ebruthing except their Japanese tracks have subtitles. And that's just because Japan is like that. This is definitely the most expensive MV in K-pop at the moment.
So it's really only the monster and car is CGI/green screen. Took 5 days to film with 18 hours a day, and they were on a barge in the middle of the Han river, shooting firworks at them from a drone, just off the shores of NORTH Korea... without permission from them i might add. (South Koreans are daring)
Haha, but yeah, everything else was completely real and very much their style. Theh are known for having THE BEST music videos in kpop. Here, ill try to give you a once over in regard to their music and their status.
Stray Kids are the #1 artist in sales in the USA so far in the whole of 2023, and '5-Star' their most recent full length Korean Album which debuted at #1 with 'S-Class' as the title track. Even though is has only been released 3 months. It has spent all 3 months on the Billboard 200, and is currently at 157. Its aslo in the top 10 of three other Billboard top album sales charts.
With Stray Kids themselves having spent a total of 34 weeks on the Worlds Top 100 Artists chart at around 65. This album msrked their THIRD Billboard 200 #1 IN A ROW. Marking themselves as the FIRST Korean artist to ever do this.
"☆☆☆☆☆" (Aka "5-Star") Officially sold 5.13 million preorders according to Hanteo (a chart that counts albums sold by the company to the retailer based off of the number of pre-order sales they clocked. Then, a week later, Circle chart (a chart that calculates its numbers based upon the sales from the retailer to the customer.
This really affects numbers, specially if they expected more sales than they got. SkZ however SOLD OUT on PREORDERS almost everywhere. And they are STILL selling like crazy. The first week sales broke the record for the most in kpop history. At around 4.5 MILLION albums.
(Their awful US distributor recently had to start doing right by them instead of sabotaging them like they have been. Sor some reason. Point is, they tried to delay all the shipping to cause them bad numbers, but fans vought SO many, they had no choice but to at least get that many shipped out.)
•They were the only artist who had two albums on last years best selling list in the entire world. And they were number 7 on the list of artists that were bringing in the most money in then whole world too. Not to mention on the world-wide lists for the most popular kpop artists is every major music consuming country, they were the second most named boy group in the top five after BTS. (A poll done by their government) consistently coming in at 3rd place in all of kpop, After BTS and BlackPink.
However, here in the USA, they really are the best selling and most popular artists from Korea right now. Snd of their whole generation, theu are the most subscribed to, highest charting, most streamed, and best selling group of their generation as well, period.
• Stray Kids have around 200 tracks in total, in over 45 genres. They have 9 mini albums and 3 full-length Korean, as well as 1 new music + repackaged compilation, a solos album, and a bunch of Japanese releases including a full length. They also have something like 80 MVs, 'Performance Videos', and 'Special Videos'... Much more than just the title tracks gets some kind of visual representation
•They do put a lot of love into their lyrics, and they do take on sensitive topics. The flashyness In their title tracks is because most of the general public only watches those. They always put a lot of effort into their edits and transitions. But in their B-sides you will see much more of what they can do musically. And there's much more music videos that are easier to follow than there are ones that are really difficult. It really depends on if you are just looking at the MV story itself, or their much more detailed storyline that runs through all of their music. No matter what though, Stray Kids are very experimental and will never settle into any genre.
Tgere are 8 members in the group, snd yes, much of their music is crazy like that. hey are truly the kings of genre blending. Yes they are all amazing dancers, rappers AND vocalists and no there are no specific positions in the group but leader, which is BangChan. However for the most part, when it comes to rap.. it's Han, Changbin, Felix, and Hyunjin. While those who mainly do the vocals are Bangchan, Han, Lee Know, Seungmin, and I.N
•Han is the 4th hen ACE, which means he can do anything at a level that is quite amazing. He does the group high notes, Him and Changbin are arguably the best 4th gen rappers, and he ALWAYS sounds just as stable live.
•The leader Bangchan and the two 4th gen rappers Chanbin and the Ace Han, are the ones who compose and produce 99.9% of their music. (The other .1% are callabs done by 3RACHA Seungmin and Felix with other artists. the 3RACHA Ones are always still written by them tho.) 3RACHA Have their own music from before the debute of Stray Kids. Even Stray Kids have predebute music. That's how much they love what they do and how prolific they are at it.
•They are one of the only K-pop group to self-form. The leader BangChan picked all the members himself, because after 7 almost 8 years of being a JYPE trainee, the CEO himself, JYP took a great liking to him. He saw something in him. So he allowed him full control over their members, their music and their careers.He's also a prodigy in music production. All the beats are 3RACHAs creations, however BangChan does the majority of them. All of them have a hand in their songwriting as well.
•All of their songs they still currently perform equals around 70, almost all of which have choreography. With the help of the other 3RACHA members and DanceRacha, they are one of the BEST K-pop artists when it comes to their stage performances.
•It has been very hard for them, because they have had to truly and completely gain their fame on their own. They aren't like kost K-pop groups who have no rights or say, and end up miserable with music that is void of meaning and don't show who they are. SKZ have been allowed to mature and grow. They are true artists, and their music speaks for itself.
I hope you truly get to enjoy these brilliant young men and the insane ride that is their music. I also really hope other fans will drop their statistics and give you the rundown in terms of their albums and actual music lol. Because I just wanted to give one in terms of them, the artists.
These men are absolute Master performers, and 3RACHA are literal prodigal producers and lyricists who have never released a track that was lacking in quality of creation. They are striving to move the music industry forwad.

They are the most accomplished kpop group among 4th gen kpop groups (4th gen = groups that debuted 2018 or after) (BTS is considered 3rd gen bcz they debuted 2013). They just won "Best kpop group" at the VMAs.

As for reaction. Pick a song, any song. There is over 170 to choose from and they have a new album coming out in November. It with be their 4th disc offering this year
Stray Kids have making and producing their own music since 2018. Every member can sing, rap, dance, and write their own music with a discography is almost 200 songs deep and spans all genres. They are masters at wordplay and you can find hidden meanings in every song. Every bar is a FLEX (turn on captions to read what they're rapping /singing about), but they are not jerks about it. Their mantra seems to be, "YOU DO YOU, BECAUSE THIS IS US."
Personally I absolutely love that they are unapologetic about their Korean culture and their craft. They have a self awareness and humility that is incredibly refreshing amongst so much of the garbage out in entertainment. Stray Kids expect more from themselves and appreciate their fandom by dropping content all the time. It's crazy, but we can't say we don't love it!

You cant claim to be the best with less than an "S-class" filming budget.
Is it an old band ? Kinda, is it a new band ? Kinda again they started in 2018 in a survival show called by their band name, the members are all chosen by the leader of this band that one guy with the earrings and the sleevless outfit when you say it was your part, first time an agency is doing this tho ! And they were right because Chan knew what he was doing when choosing the members ! But fun fact they really started to rise in 2020 and today they're like growing up again and again and i hope they wouldn't stop soon hahaha. They're creating every beats and music and lyrics of their songs, the leader and the two rapper you heard when you talked about "spitting" are the producer team of the band, more than 100 songs created for all of three btw, most copyrighted tho bahahaha. The leader once created a song on live with just scratch it was insane !
