MIROH gave Stray Kids their first win. It was a very emotional moment. TOWER OF GOD intro and outro!!! Check them out. Chan wrote Social Path about his personal experiences becoming a K-pop star. He shared it as he thought it would resonate with others. In the beginning, the boys are all dealing with their fears, Sleep Paralysis, Claustrophobia, Loneliness, fear of heights, fear of being forgotten, work anxiety, overthinking and panic attacks. It is when Chan's fear is getting the better of him that the boys band together, break down the wall and rescue him. It is only when they are all together that they can smile and enjoy their paths.
@HASHTAGELEVATED Stray Kids lyrics are deeper than people think. Actually, in the video, you see Chan rising like he was ascending to the heavens just before the boys broke down the wall. Chan has been very open about being in a dark place before the boys came and rescued him. Dark enough that he says without them he may not be on this earth.
For those who don't know who LiSA is, in the Social Path M/V....... LiSA (real name: Risa Oribe ) is huge in Japan. She started out in a rock band, but has been a solo artist for a while now. She's well-known for singing songs for anime soundtracks (including Sword Art Online, My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer and the Japanese-dubbed version of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse).
When you experience Miroh in concert, it really is like a huge anthemic moment. Also, their logo was designed by their leader Bang Chan. The commenters who mentioned the anime OSTs, they are TOP and Slump. Social Path has a cool message. It was written by Bang Chan about his long 7 year trainee journey pursuing his childhood dream to become an idol despite internal and external battles to get there.
Just another fun lil tidbit about the 143 video, the hotel they're in is modeled after the hotel from The Shining (Lee Know even does a "here's johnny" moment) to portray the mania obsession that the emotions can bring out
Stray Kids did SLUMP and TOP which is intro and out for TOWER OF GOD and my personal fav as SLUMP got me into SKZ ALSO, LEADER Bang Chan not only hand-picked the members hinself but he also designed the LOGO
MIROH will always be one of the most special songs in their discography, it brought them their 1st win on a Korean music show, and overall showcased their color really well. 💜💜 They used a tiger imagery (and the 🐯roar sample) to bring out the intensity even more, so iconic! My babies are doing so well now. Thx for reacting to them! xoxo
You guys pretty much nailed the meanings of both Case 143 & Miroh. I'm glad you guys pay attention to the small things as well. About Social path. Chan has talked about how he wrote the lyrics about his years as a trainee. Since he was a trainee for 7 years, he has seen a lot of mental suffering watching all his friends either debut without him, or get dropped from the programs. LiSA has been putting out awesome music for around 11 years. Chan has always looked up to her & the Kids were very excited to collaborate with her. Let's see. Things I noticed in the MV. -The bag people seem to be representative of both faceless people who are both worshiping & hating at the same time, or inner doubts & thoughts that come when they are alone. -I.N is the first to stand against the tide of people & grasp the light. -Everyone stays isolated till Chan gets taken by the hands. They all had separate things happening. Being isolated, being stared at, being forced to constantly run, being chained in one place, etc. Then Chan is taken & they are suddenly moving. -LiSA seems to be a unified voice leading them in a direction. She has the lines " the ashes to prove my passion burning endlessly" (Or close to it....I am horrible at remembering exact lyrics) -When they are unified & moving against the crowds, the ones who are most able to withstand pressure without flinching are in the lead. (Lee Know, and Changbin are the most obvious at the front making a path for the others) -When they reach the wall Chan had been trapped against, they tear it open. There is only 7 of them when this happens....They are going through to reach Chan. (Chan has said in multiple instances that the other members have saved him. If it wasn't for them, he doesn't even think he would be on this planet) -When they are 8 is the only time you see them smile. -There are shadowy hands that are trying to touch Changbin in the beginning, and just as he wakes up you see clawed hands reflected in his eyes/the moon. -Felix's wing actually kinda seems slightly separate from him. Almost as if he has a guardian angel protecting him. It lifts & reveals him a little before starting to cover him again. -In the final dance scene, the only ones with no red in their outfit are Chan, Changbin, and Felix. I listened to someone explain that the colours kinda mean something. LiSA has a strong red & black theme. She seems to represent courage & determination. The others have red in their outfits because they gained those from outside sources. (Like the other members, or helpful people) The three who have no red are ones who already had those and didn't get them from an outside source. Changbin & Felix are the least effected during the MV. Felix already had an inner fire, and Changbin refused the shadowy hands. Chan was taken, but he didn't stop trying to escape. There are many flashes of Chan staring ahead, or jerking awake & not just allowing himself to be swallowed. You see him float above the people who took him, until the others break through to him.

Just to correct a slight mistake: the piano in Case 143 is not Bossa Nova, but closer to salsa. Butterflies is indeed Bossa Nova, so is Another Day, and they also have latin feels in Maknae on Top and Up All Night (very fun.songs, both of them).

A few easter eggs about miroh that fans have noticed are small details like the sound of the eagle when the apparently white politicians are being thrown out (which could represent U.S or western industry) and then as a contrast in the chorus they got the tiger roar that is coincidentally korean's national animal.
SLUMP on First Take are amazing 🤩 SKZ really talented artists 😊 Chan design their logo and Felix also can beatbox..you can hear on the starting in their music video CIRCUS 🎪
Part of the choreo they used in Miroh is based on traditional Maori Haka dancing. 3Racha also used some Maori language in their song, ZONE. Social path is their life, like if u read the lyrics it’s kinda sad, like of felixes bit it says: no way back to the past, meaning he may or may not made the right decision, and the chorus is you only get to live one life

3:300 "ABCDEFG..." That sound/style is bossa nova. I _think_ that's what you were referring to -- as opposed to the mixing of styles with the song -- but if not, sorry for the misunderstanding. Fwiw, Case 143 isn't about a girl, per se. SKZ have a total of two songs, out of around 175, that specify the gender of the object of affection. Every other song is gender neutral. Since that choice is 1] explicitly deliberate to make their words accessible and relatable to, and respectful and inclusive of, more people, and 2] an important consideration to many fans (the queerest fandom in the industry, according to every set of gathered data), we encourage new listeners to notice this. That honors SKZ's respectfulness, as well as having the added benefit of not assuming or assigning any particular orientation to the members. This MV is an important entry in the ongoing lore, so a lot of the details (their rebellion against the powermongers, in particular) won't make sense to you because of the lack of context. The explanation you found is very wrong about "escaped the brainwashed society of District 9," but this is an increasingly common fallacy as more and more new people become fans and spread that misinformation. District 9 is the district SKZ established for themselves -- and named after themselves, the original nine members -- after they _escaped_ the brainwashed society of the City Jungle (aka the established industry, aka the city in this MV). This isn't supposition; it's info directly from them. Welcoming people to find safety and acceptance in "our district" was a common refrain from them for quite a while, it's covered in the Highlight Reel, and even the lyrics talk about it directly. Anyway, District 9 was the safe zone they founded when they first became aware and decided to defy the system. "I love their logo." Chris/Chan, the leader, made it. That's his own handwriting. Favorite anime opening: "TOP" by SKZ, obviously.

It is when Chan's fear is getting the better of him that the boys band together, break down the wall and rescue him. It is only when they are all together that they can smile and enjoy their paths.
This a well thought out comment. All these fears are common to all of us but can be overcome with help, we just need to seek help out.
Damnn that's so deep!
