Usually they have top 16 knockout which means whoever wins goes on and whoever loses is out of the competition. In this it's round robin, so whoever wins the most battles moves on, so Thesis and Vero must've won enough battles to face each other again.

I hate these types of battles where the judges have to score each round. They’re just artificially extending the battle because they don’t want shutout wins. When one Bboy is clearly winning they give a round to the other guy so it’s not 2-0. Like you might as well make it 3 rounds and announce the winner at the end.

thesis just does so much bboy stuntmans stuff. how is he not being called a biter.
Somebody in the comment section name one thing he did that stuntman does. One combination or move. Stuntman doesn’t airchair or pike. He doesn’t do a lot of threads. Top rock is different. Stuntman doesn’t do a lot of power like Thesis. Stuntman doesn’t rollback on one hand or hit one handed airbabies.

Thesis’ set: Airchair to Superman mill to one handed rollback to one handed Freeze. Freeze, arm sweep to hat pose then leg thread transition to start of a knee switch leg hook. One step to pike dropping to airchair straight to top rock movement in kneeling position. Legwork to three step. Flare variation back up down to knee drop and rollback to shoulder ending in a solid fallout pose.
Vero’s set: Two step to ufo glide variation like hydraulics. Some burns to baby Freeze glide. Knee shuffles to 1/7 seven step, two step and knee switches half a bent virgin flare to side chair.

This is just what happens once they get to the floor of round one. You can clearly see the quantity and quality plus creativity and individuality goes to Thesis. But Veros stuff is easier to see to the untrained eye. That’s why the judges chose thesis.

I get what you mean and I agree with what you said but you should perhaps mention too that bboying is more than that. I personnally like originality (whether it is original moves or just a special touch) but I also feel like musicality and attitude counts for a lot. And on a personnal note Flava/Flow is actually what makes me like better a dancer even if he/she is objectively less good than an other.
But yeah thesis is extremely good, he got the whole package.

Michael Reyes it’s intentional that’s the sour patch kids abstract style from Arizona. He learned it from one of his teachers paranoid android who does it even more stiff. He’s representing a style from the 90’s creative era. Not everyone has to do the loose legwork European style or the more New York flow that vero is doing a combo of both. That’s what hurting the scene now is everyone thinks it has to look pleasurable to the crowd or for TH-cam instead of repping your city, history, and personality.
