This is a great battle from a tactics perspective. Thesis saw that Bruce spent a lot of energy in Round 2 so went for a short round 3 gambling that Bruce would be gassed and not have anything left. Versus some bboys that won't really work but here it paid off!

Learn the roots of the dance first y'all. Bboy is a party dance, so treat the battle as a party. Not that you can't but you don't have to do so many technical moves and stuff. You should have fun too. And these top bboys dance cuz they enjoy it, not cuz they want the W. That's how they get so good.

Thesis noticed that Bruce wasted a lot of energy on its 2nd set an moreover he extended it when half of judges already had voted so he did a short 2nd set knowing that Bruce did non had breathed enough to do something.. And he was right..
nope, Bruce was clowning around. Thesis got mad. Bruce tried to please him in round 3, but Thesis didnt agree and dissed him even more.

It looks like Thesis had been training hard for this competition - he was looking really sharp and en pointe. Resembling more of when he was younger when he had superhuman stamina and agility! Thought he took all 3 rounds personally.

Sorry for mi grama, im not speak english :/ . For me Thesis has a actitude of "real bboy", diferently about bruce what make "the crown"
Bruce had a big chance to take the win at the end. Thesis's set was too short that any bboy wouldve taken the chance to take that win to throw down a complete set, but i guess bruce ran outta juice to just dance a little here and there. The battle match up, I thought was pretty good because both bboys have musicality and they are both monster bboys when it comes to transitions...towards the end of the battle just didn't live it to its potential. Bruce in my opinion could have dominated the match because he was matching moves per move against thesis and was a lot cleaner. Battle was close until the last half of the battle.
It's called strategy. Thesis saw Bruce had gassed himself on the second round and didn't give him recovery time. Also, he does about 3 moves for every 1 Bruce does in terms of flow and connecting moves over time. Bruce is clunky as hell.

If we compare Bruce's 2nd round with Thesis's, it is much more cleaner and musicial for Bruce , he put a couple of his signature moves and did full round containing top rock , footwork, powermove and powertricks(one has killed the beat) when Thesis showed only 3 or 4 threads with simple transitions(even one he did slowly, which says that he had'nt trained it well). Unfortunately judges were been unfair with their dessision, so that Bruce understood and was'nt about continuing perseve the rest of the battle. Even though Bruce might have been seemed to be dominating that battle, he was going to handshake at the end of the battle. However Thesis acted like a little kid

Final round might be the best short round ever executed dude, it's clean as fck with all the smooth and on time transitions, the guy actually wrote his own thesis. Respect

But as you can see Thesis felt really offended.
So I guess the beef wasn’t over for him. Also think about the mind-state he has to be in to win.
Did the thought occur he needs to be in this this in order to get that Energy to win.
I do see from the outside it looks very harmful.
But remember the battle ain’t over till both sides agree.
We are just the bystanders and we should feel blessed we could see it. They decide their own outcome on the road to become the Undisputed, whatever it takes to win! Reputation, money, years of training are at stake here.

Yo creo que thesis espero q se deje de tontear y que responda rapido con movimientos no con payasadas , por eso thesis se molesta
ya pero, vi demasiada agresividad por parte de thesis, parecía que había algo personal. Vamos que quería ganarle más por su orgullo que por el torneo.
Creo que le da una leccion de respeto por la batalla , la agresividad es parte de las reglas del juego , tienes que responder con movimientos no con abrazos ni caricias como lo hiba a ser bruce , ademas estan en una final mundial , se mataran por llevarsela a casa

Hay un Unbreakable, 2012 si no me equivoco, en el que se enfrentaron que Bruce perdió y se molesto. Creo que desde ahi viene la cosa.
A demás de que es una batalla importante y supongo que Thesis con el nivel que tiene Bruce espero que repondiera con velocidad y astucia y solo hizo el "mono".

Bruce used to be one of my fav Bboys. He has a ton of dope shit that he doesn't use any more. He could've won the battle if he actually battled and didn't keep cutting his flow
All for Bruce in this one. I like watching bboys like him. He has a distinct style that makes me feel like he's doing something different that other bboys aren't doing. I mean I know everyone has their sets and signature moves that are "exclusive" to them but when I watch bboys like Bruce I get that feeling like he stands out. The same feeling I got from back in the day watching bboys from the late 90's and 2000's. OUT FOR FAME, flavor 2 burn, LOTF 1 & 2, FREESTYLE SESSION 7 and 8, Style 2 Ouf etc... It was such a period of transition and so much new and unique stuff happening between that era and the era before. Still love reminiscing and going back to watch that stuff.
