The last section of this video is gold. Been using Studio One for years and made loads of macros - but I could never assign them to the toolbar (i.e. have my own list of my own macros). Now I can! Thank your for sorting out such a frustrating thing for me finally!
LOVE STUDIO ONE'S MACROS😊 (an argument came be made that I like it too much and I've become "lazy" between macros and templates lol😂😂) I've never made icons though🤔lol
Hi mike, as a beginner in studio one and music production, I really like your channel and all of those tips and tricks I can get !! Thank you, and for the Icon, looks like an old printer and it kinda make sense as macro toolbar '' print '' the command you ask for !!
I suspect the icon is a side view of a keycap. The middle portion being the keycap, the bottom piece signaling to push down. Top piece anybody's guess.
Mike your the best. But studio is so damn complex in a world that is getting a lot simpler. That was a lot just to create a macro. Call my slow but I’ll have to watch this a couple of times to actually understand this. But honestly that is everything on this DAW.😮💨 it’s a pin to make beats on and everything is unnecessarily complicated. Ima give studio one one more month before I go back to fl studios 🙏🏾

I believe the macro menu icon is meant to resemble a head-on view of a phonograph needle cartridge. For those who are old enough to remember those.

My Macro organizer doesn't have a shortcut button
Can i have a micro for opening a vst instrument??
For opening I don't know, but you can make one to create a new instrument with the instrument/preset that you want.
I think the Macros icon is supposed to be a Robot?
