Chelan Lakeshore Trail to Stehekin - Caminamos hacia el pueblo mas remoto de Washington!

Stehekin is the most remote town in Washington, it is located in the North Cascades and can only be reached by boat, small plane or on foot. We took the ferry in Chelan which took us to Prince Creek where our route to Stehekin began. It took us two days to reach our goal. Our first night we camped at Moore Point where no reservation is needed. The second night we managed to snag space at Lakeview camp - this requires reservations starting from May 19 to September 8 (dates change each year). Once we are in Stehekin it is time to explore the town, for this we rented a car that cost us $65/hr for 4 hours. You can also rent bicycles or pay for a shuttle ride. For the return we took the express ferry that was already booked previously. Without a doubt this adventure was spectacular!
Stehekin es el pueblo mas remoto de Washington, esta ubicado en North Cascades y solamente se puede llegar por barco, avioneta o a pie. Nosotros tomamos el ferry en Chelan la cual nos llevo hasta Prince Creek donde nuestra ruta hacia Stehekin comenzó. nos tomo dos días llegar hasta nuestro objetivo. Nuestra primer noche acampamos en Moore Point en donde no se necesita reservación. La segunda noche logramos agarrar espacio en Lakeview camp - este se requiere reservación comenzando desde mayo 19 a Septiembre 8 (las fechas cambian cada año). una vez estando en Stehekin es hora de explorar el pueblo, para ello nosotros rentamos un carro que nos costo $65/hr por 4 horas. también se pueden rentar bicicletas o pagar un recorrido en Shuttle. Para el regreso nosotros tomamos el ferry express que ya estaba reservado previamente. sin duda alguna esta aventura estuvo espectacular!
