Great video Zak. A man falling in and out of love with the trail. 😂 Nice one. What a magical place.

Thanks for watching @@steevo1976 . I can't express how much that means for you to take the time out of your day. It is so cool of you. Thanks again!

It took me and friends 5 hours going up, and 6 hours going down. My friend injured her knee. The going down is never ending trail and yeah it made us disoriented.

That sucks your friend got injured. That would be an absolutely brutal hike down! It sucks under normal circumstances. It seriously never ever ever ever ever ends! Glad y'all made it out safe!

That was hard? I recommend you to do
The whole enchantments in a day lol , that’s HARD

I've done this hike a few times. This was the first time I did it at the beginning of my hiking season instead of at the end. But also, yeah, running a half-marathon is hard, but running a full-marathon is harder. :) I don't think I would enjoy doing it all in a day. I want to stop too much and look at stuff and enjoy it. Still hoping to one day win a lottery camping spot. Fingers crossed.

Wait 13 miles? So you did make a wrong turn somewhere right because isn’t it supposed to be just under 9 miles? Now I’m scared I’m doing this hike in September and I’m severely out of shape myself lol 😅

I hiked all around the lake and a little farther. I also did a couple little spur trails on the way up. I would say that you will probably do around 10 miles roundtrip if you just hike to the lake and back. It is a hard hike, but if you take plenty of water, you will be fine. Don't rush. Enjoy the scenery. September is a great time to see this beautiful place in person! Good Luck!!!
