My sin is a rear engined ford Cosworth V8 mg Metro v6r4 lookalike with full roll cage which I made same for the unitary sump/ bell housing I had made from a solid piece of aluminium which came in two pieces I welded together with a mig, every bit was sourced from cheap sources like they wanted £2500 for the scavenging pump for the dry sump,I purchased one that was a generic type ,4 port it's up and going,I would like to show it one day
Was the Volvo 240 rear end fitted with custom halfshafts or is it a convenient width? Been trying to find info on rear ends for upgraded moggies but so far it's been a crapshoot.
The axel had been shortened, and the shafts have been cut, sleeved, and doweled. Use to handle the hot Rover V8 with some hard launches.. I suspect I will snap them, but then I’ll look at getting new shafts made.

Can't wait to see this finished great work so far
Looks bang tidy
Awesome project mate. Honour to be a part of it. X
Any chance you can pop all the minor V8’s in their own playlist? Been wanting to do this exact thing for AGES!!!
Would like to see you do a series of videos on this build very interested in watching your progress.
I’ll upload another over December 🤙
19 sec 1/4 pretty fast! Well compared to my sidevalve one
Nice
Very cool stuff. I recommend documenting a sub project or two in the manner of CROKERvsRover or similar.
