Elvis was the best friend i ever had in my entire life. we met when i was 17 yrs old. I won a radio show contest and the prize was a day with Elvis but our friendship lasted past that one day in time. All the memories of my friend are tucked safe in my heart forever. i saw him a few weeks before he passed we had a short conversation which i will never share again because people are so nasty and comment hurtful heart breaking things they do not know me but they still can't keep their mouths closed about things they know nothing about. I walk past Graceland everyday. Great reaction loved it. love from Memphis Tn.

What you may not know, Andy, is that Elvis performed two shows a night, ( 8.30pm & 12 midnight ), for 28 days straight for two engagements a year when appearing in Vegas, with no days off. Barry Manilow plays in the same showroom now, just 6 shows every 14 days, followed by 2 weeks off .... Knowing this workload I think makes Elvis's performances even more remarkable !!

When Elvis was in his prime (like here) he almost felt like a prolonged part of the stage. When you look up the concept of a live performer in a textbook, there should simply only be a picture of Elvis in there. At least as far as contemporary music goes. There have been many great artists live, but in Elvis I feel the stage is a part of his soul..he was meant to be on that stage, everything else was secondary.

I inly watch and listen to Elvis because, after hin, any other entertainer, though they be great, are secind to Elvis..He had perfect pitch, vical range of 4.2 or higher, powerful voice, sexy, sweet, and passionate voice. He played any instrument he felt like..just would pick it up and start playing it. Great dsnced which was not choregraphed..just danced to the rhythm as he felt it. He was as limber as a noodle because he was double jointed. His sexiness and beauty are overwhelming.and his movie directors called him a genius..had perfect comedic timing.Every costar loved him..he was beyond wonderful..one of God's greaest creations and a great gift to us.

There’s another concert he did I think later than this one. I don’t know the name of it, but he was in an all leather black outfit. He sang a lot of his songs that time as well. No, this one isn’t a leisure suit. He had all his costumes especially made just for him, and for some reason he loved the big stand-up collars. Later he added a cape to go with them. Then he added scarves around his neck so he could pass them out to the girls. I was a teen in the 50’s and a huge Elvis fan-had all his 45’s at the time. It was such a tragedy when he died at age 42-our loss for sure.

The story behind Elvis scaring the backup singer, as I heard, is that she had a huge crush on Elvis, and Elvis found out just before the show, so he decided to mess around with her a bit on stage.

Andy, Andy, Andy! I’m so glad Elvis made it over to your channel! I’ve loved him since I was a little girl. He was my imaginary friend and went everywhere with us! Please check out Just Pretend (Live 1970), and from the Aloha From Hawaii concert (the actual concert where he is wearing leis … there are lots of videos of the rehearsal concert): You Gave Me A Mountain, Fever, Welcome To My World, My Way, It’s Over, and my fave, I’ll Remember You. And then there’s the 1968 Comeback Special … One Night With You, Baby What You Want Me To Do, Trying to Get To You. And his last concert in June, 1977, Unchained Melody and Hurt. So these are my first picks … and it ain’t even half of ‘em!
Loved your reaction. … keep ‘em coming!

I'm not sure who had more fun here: Elvis, you reacting to him, or me reacting to you! As a fan since 1956, I could get carried away with recommendations, but I'll try to restrain myself. (1) Elvis Presley - Guadalajara (Video clip HD) (3:18); (2) Elvis Presley - You've Lost That Loving Feeling (Las Vegas 1970) 4K (4:15); (3) Elvis Presley - Danny Boy (New 2020 Enhanced Remastered Version) (3:59); (4) Elvis Presley - You Gave Me A Mountain - 9 April 1972, Evening Show (re-edited with new audio) (3:18); (5) Elvis Presley- Tomorrow Never Comes (4:13). Sorry I don't know how to send links, so I've tried to be very specific about what I think are the best versions. And thanks so much for sharing Elvis!!

I grew up listening to Elvis Presley as a kid in the 1980's and as a teen in the 1990's. I was even born the same year that he passed away. I always loved his music and I use to perform his songs on stage back in high school in the late 90's. I found out a few months ago that I am a cousin to the legendary man himself. It just makes me love the King even more. Long live his music forever more.

I spent a fortune on Elvis’s singles, albums, movies, and videos. When I listen to Dimash I see shades of Elvis. Handsome, flashy clothes, that profile, those lips, agile vocal abilities, runs-and adlibs , that hair(!), especially that loose curl over his forehead.
Where Elvis used his leg, Dimash uses his hands.
Best song of all is Can’t Help Falling in Love.
I’m amazed and grateful that you are highlighting The King. Gives me more to watch along with Dimash and EXO.
