A hidden gem I have been recommending for years is Turok Evolution. It's a good run n gun and it's fairly uncommon and not expensive. Lots of fun with system link co-op!
Buying guide?! If I rob a bank LOL. Your collection though is amazing so I already knew that going in. The Castlevania games are on my list. I already have them. I just need to play them. Great video Steve. You've been killing it and I'm so happy for you. Finally getting the recognition you deserve
Sadly I have never owned a Game Boy Advance. But I have owned a GameBoy Advance SP. Played a lot of Zelda and Mario games on it. Really haven’t played any other games. But this video is definitely great to see. Didn’t realize Nintendo had so many games for the Game Boy series.
Zelda and Mario are two great series to play. I absolutely love the Gameboy series and its libraries. Hope this helps nudge you into playing a few more Advance games.
Awesome collection of systems and some uncommon games! Golden Sun is a must on that system! The GBA SP 101 was my very 1st handheld system. I bought it because I had to commute a lot for work back then, so I picked it up and wasn't disappointed! Iron Man looks good as I've watched your gameplay video you did a while back! I had never seen that Medal of Honor game until now, and it's going on my wishlist as it looks good! Same for Ace Combat and Daredevil! Hope you have a great week! Great video and keep up the good work!
Thanks brother! Golden Sun is a must! Ah you had the lustrous SP 101 huh! iron Man is fantastic. I beat it last year and loved it. Medal of Honor is one of my favorites for sure but make sure it’s the one I recommended and not the others. Ace Combat is another fun one that’s a little different on the GBA but still very fun. Always appreciate you my friend and hope you have a great week!
I for sure want to get a analog pcoket someday! I tried gaming with the sp rexently and my 33 year old eyes did not like the small screen lol. I mainly use my gameboy player for the gamecube to play my gba games these days.
I absolutely love the Analogue Pocket and what it can do. I beat a couple games on my SP 001 last year and it was definitely hard to see sometimes! I do enjoy the Gameboy player as well and completely forgot to mention it in my video. 😆
The ice blue one was my first; that Target red is pretty slick though. Loved the better screen and clamshell of the SP, but man, trying to hold that thing...forget it! Then you bust out the Micro to make it worse. lol We have one that I got a swapped out faceplate for a Zelda one that makes a great display piece because...no. ha ha ha Wait, did I miss it? No love for the GameBoy Player for GameCube? That's my preferred way to play with having an actual controller in hand. I'd like to grab Super Gunstar Heroes; I've long loved the Genesis one. I've heard good things on the Lilo & Stitch games...maybe from you? I'd be down to try that Pirates game, I think it looks fun and definitely film fans here. Heh, Fantastic 4--the right one--is good, got it! Love me some Minish Cap; really would like to go back to it. Oh yeah, BoF II is amazing; loved it on SNES so the GBA version would be my excuse to replay it! Iron Man going on the list.
Ooh the ice blue you say? I like that one myself. Found the Target one for cheap years ago. The clamshell version was a cramp machine even though I do like the design. The micro is worse but I’ve managed to beat a few games on the micro over the last couple years and it’s fun. I totally forgot to show and talk about the GameBoy player for the GameCube! I do really enjoy playing that way. Gunstar Heroes is a classic and the LILO & Stitch games are fantastic. You probably heard about them from me or Jay at Square Pegs. The Pirates game is pretty fun. Not the best kind you but I really enjoyed it for what it is. Fun music as well. I do love the movies! Minish Cap is one of the best Zelda games and a great reason to own a GBA. Iron Man was a blast to play through and I would definitely recommend it!
You have some pretty decent collectibles in general. I am mostly here to watch Switch stuff. But I was pretty blown away the Lilo and Stitch games were decent. I wrote them off as little kids games but I do enjoy the Slug. I will give them a go.
I prefer buying Dr. Mario & Puzzle League for the GameBoy Advance! Man, the version of QueQue is very different from the original one from Dr. Mario 64.
Don't forget the Gameboy Advance player for the Gamecube. Of course, that will set you back $$$ for that set up now. Can't go wrong with any of the Final Fantasy ports which are some of the best versions of those games.
I didn’t even think of that until you mentioned it! I have it but it didn’t cross my mind while I was gathering everything for filming. It is pricey nowadays but still very worth it if that’s your thing. I have the first three Final Fantasy games for the original GAMEBOY. Great series of games.
@@stevecraigretrogames I heard that the disc for the player is a lot harder and more expensive to come by than the hardware itself. Thank goodness I bought that when it originally came out.
Alright Steve I got a few suggestions for you. Boktai F-Zero Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Mega Man Battle Network Phalanx Super Dodgeball Advance Zone of the Enders
I actually have a few of those titles. I didn’t show every GBA game I had just wanted to give some examples. I do need a few you suggested though like F-Zero and Boktai!
@@moandaindesigns Only issue with Boktai is you need the power of the almighty Sun and I mainly play at night in the dark! 😆 I do still want the game and would like to play it at some point.
@@stevecraigretrogames Even if you have to save up for it, it's well worth it. No real handheld can compare unless you mod it with new screen and speakers which will cost you at least a couple hundred and takes skill. @@estusflask982 This is true. I love my Analogue Pocket and mostly use it over my other handhelds but some people just want the basic. Gotta show all options!
