Terrific reaction video. You selected a great song. I bought Sabotage in September 1975 . I already owned the first and second Black Sabbath albums - bought them when they first came out. In about 1971, I took a musical detour to Jeff Back, The Faces and Mountain. Then in 1975 I saw Sabotage in a record store and the cover art was so striking. I bought it mostly out of curiosity. Sabotage became my favorite album of all time. I'm 70 years old and still listening to Sabotage. Keep up the good work!
I was only starting 2nd grade in September’ 75 but I had a really cool older sister who was a high school sophomore and she turned me on to so much good music. People today have no idea what they missed out on!
sabotage has always been one of my favorite Black Sabbath albums and in all honesty is the peak of Ozzy's vocals out of his entire career! I'm so glad you enjoyed this! I hope you do all the other songs off this album because it is an amazing album!!
In terms of feel good songs this one and Supernaut are my favs. For a song to uplift me in difficult times, I would go to the Never Say Die album with the song Hard Road which I recommend to you if you have the time it's pretty rewarding and has excellent lyrics as always with Black Sabbath.
There is a LOT of stuff going on in this song...Used to trip to it in the 70's with the Koss headphones...Ozzy's voice floods down over you and the mixing of the tracks is state of the art...Subbed...3:41 you have no idea what is coming...:)
Hi Randy, I love how you are so in tune with Tony's solo, to me that and what you said about when the whole vibe can make you play something amazing is so cool how you summed it up. The end solo tone is so beautiful to me, like pure metalic beauty. Thank you for your insight.
Glad you liked it. This is my absolute favorite Sabbath song. Another good one from this album is an instrumental called Supertzar th-cam.com/video/Atzlik8sFEc/w-d-xo.html and Symptom Of The Universe th-cam.com/video/4g_Yk6eKlwk/w-d-xo.html. Sabbath has always been one of my fav bands. Every member is next level when it comes to musicianship. Just listen to Bill Wards drumming and Geezer Butlers bass playing, both are just incredible. All hail the godfathers of Metal!!!!! ✌Peace✌
Iommi at his creative best. This song goes all over the place...... Osbournes vocals at their peak. Such a creative masterpiece 6 albums into their career . Ominous, Dark, Heavy, melodic, beautiful, progressive, So original !!!! even to this day, in style and sound. Bill has said that he "reacted" to Tony's playing and accompanied him orchestrally. This is a superb example of what he was trying to convey. Love this album and this song for those reasons but it is still not my fovorite.....
I know what you mean about a natural flow in some music. You mentioned Santana, and 2 from him come to mind, one was a cover of a Zombies song, called "she's not there", and the other, which I'd guess is the one you had in mind, is the big hit "smooth". Carlos is one of the very best for sure. Never having had this album, this song is new to me. It seems almost out of character for sabbath, to have an up beat song. The lyrics are what's to be expected, with the almost counter religious questioning and and strange conclusions, (that's why they appeal to me). Beginning, middle and end solos !!! that's a cool thing, that makes it really rather uncommon, and makes it stand out from a great majority of other songs, regardless of genre. for me, 3 solos gave the impression that when I thought the song was done, it had more to give. One thing I frequently gripe about is songs, and there bring a bit extra is a gift I'm grateful for. But then, there's always a bit extra from your reactions. So that's 2 things I'm grateful for. TTFN
Awesome comment as usual, Graham! The whole album is a masterpiece (see Randi's reaction to the great Symptom of the Universe from the same album, in which Iommi invented the beginnings of thrash and then ended with calypso!). I hope you are doing OK, and are having a great summer!
Hello Mike. I;m losing my sight fast, and have treatment next month. Hoping all goes as planned. Other than that, all the stuff the come with getting older lol Be well my friend. TTFN

Sabotage is my favorite black Sabbath album. In the words of the great Zaphod Beeblebrox absolutely every track on that album is amazingly amazing.
Probably mine too, with Technical Ecstacy and SBS tied for second.

One of Iommi's best riffs, imo. Sabbath rules! 🤘
Killer song. Awesome guitar solo. Great choice. No one has covered this song. Thank you!! 🎸
Geezer gives us some of his finest lyrics on this album although it is worth noting that the brilliant closer, The Writ, is one of Ozzy's rare songs.
Before 1970, they were called Earth. They had quite a variety of music while exploring what they were to evolve into.

Randi has a reaction to Symptom of the Universe out. It's her usual great job!
@@mikeg.4211 Oops, new subscriber, I probably should have checked first. 🤪
That song rocks!
Man they were on some good stuff back then.
And all 4 original members are still alive and kicking... You can't say that about many of the great rock groups from the 60s and 70s.
I just came across your video and subscribed. It’s nice to see reaction videos to music I was into in my teens in the 70’s.
I can't get enough of your fantastic reactions! You are SO genuine in every way! :)
Thank you! 😊
